Why are Boldt supporters lying? Pike will resign from the House if elected; said so months ago

(FULL DISCLOSURE: I freely admit that I am totally opposed to Marc Boldt's election this time, just as I was last time, since he's completely sold out to the left; forgotten/ignored GOP principles, supports the CRC scam in it's entirety and wants to hang tolls around our neck for the next several decades that would destroy a great deal of small business in Clark County as a result.

NO candidate or campaign or anyone involved or in any way concerned with any candidate or campaign was aware of or approved or had input into this post.

Further, Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house, 1994 - 2000.)

When it comes to the election for county chair, Boldt supporters are as willing to lie as Boldt himself.

Of course, that particular fish does rot from the head down, so it is understandable.

But the biggest lie dejour was from some Boldt shill who made the false claim in the Reflector that:
Here are my words coming from Liz’s mouth:  I have stuck to my original words that I will not abandon my constituents as state representative for a higher paying job.  But if elected, I will draw both salaries as Don Benton (R) has done.
Pike has made it clear that when she wins this election, she will resign from the House.

Why do Boldt supporters have to lie about that?

And this remark from the same writer:
"One is only left to speculate why the R’s wish to punish Marc Boldt, a former red dog."
Let me help you with that... though I do find it hard to believe that a sharp knife like Kemper doesn't already know.

Boldt was effectively expelled from the GOP back in 2011.  The left and the local democrats/daily newspaper jumped for joy, claiming it was a huge mistake that would cost the now dominant local GOP (12 of 15 legislators from Clark County are now Republican, for example)  dearly when Boldt was kicked out because while he was a commissioner, on the issues most important to the people of this county, he voted like he and Steve Stuart were separated at birth, Boldt, for example, rabidly supported the CRC/Light Rail/Toll project, because he supported raising our property taxes for 6 straight years and voted to take our guns away from us in the event of a county or state declared emergency.

Let us not also forget that Boldt made a concerted effort to bring the now hated-by-him local GOP on board with his abortive effort to get their endorsement last August... after giving the PCO's a speech (Yes, I know he's a GOP PCO; but I also know he has failed to attend any GOP function or meeting, save for the one he spoke at last August, in the 3 years he's had the job) where he claimed he could do a better job as a nonpartisan, meaning he was again rejecting the GOP, and that it's somehow "easier not to have a letter after your name."  I wonder if Shane Gardner, who Boldt also endorsed and who lost the Sheriff's election as a non-partisan, would agree?

After the dual debacle of his disastrous tenure as a commissioner and his utterly clueless attempt to get GOP support when he felt like he needed it, it's easy to see why the GOP is "punishing" Boldt: it's because he's as Republican as my Spaniels. And it's even easier to see why the local GOP mounted this write-in campaign to make an effort to give Republicans a voice in running the government of this county from the seat of the Chair.

Thanks for asking and allowing me to help end your "speculation."

They certainly aren't attacking her on her record.  Why is that?

Boldt supporters only have two things to snivel about: they hate the fact that Boldt is now at risk from a Republican Candidate as a write in... and the second thing is lies like this.

The Marc Boldt I worked for, now long gone, wouldn't dream of countenancing this kind of dishonesty and misdirection like his coordinating with the PAC that's modified his campaign signs.

What a shame that Boldt, my own brother-in-law and formerly such a hard-corps Christian, has sunk so low as to allow this to happen in his name.

That left leaning mushroom cloud you might have seen here locally last night? C3G2 heads exploding on the Pike write in.

Wow.

It didn't take the collective head of the C3G2 haters to explode after the democratian reported the write-in effort.

None of them, not one of them, are talking the issues, of course... every word is the hatred of Madore.

Boldt's campaign guy, Jim Mains, who lied his ass off about me personally during the cycle that Boldt lost, telling everyone who would listen that I was opposed to Boldt because I was getting paid by Madore, since Boldt is my own brother-in-law, whines in... or is it, weighs in?
Jim Mains ·
Partner and Director of Strategy and Campaigns at High Five MediaIt's too bad the people around Liz seem to be in a bubble and have no idea how this county (including local Republicans) feel. Current GOP leadership think having Liz in the race will bring out the conservatives??? I don't know what data they are reading but this just started a greater divide that will have ramifications well beyond this race.
I, for one, am willing to risk it.  Because nothing could be worse than either of these two leftists taking over again.

It takes two to have a "divide," you see and Mains' biggest worry is, well, Mains.  If he loses this, no one will ever take him seriously again... if they stupidly take him seriously now.

As a leftist, Mains could care less about "divides," except as they can amount to strategy he believes he can exploit.

Further, except for whining, Mains offers up nothing to indicate that the strategy to "bring out conservatives" is wrong.

I stated yesterday I wasn't interested in voting in this race.  Why bother?  Neither Boldt nor Dalesandro are any different, save for Boldt's proven record of ignoring and laughing at the voters, raising taxes without our approval and his rabid support of the CRC Scam.

But now?

I'm voting now.  And so is the rest of my family.  So for THESE conservatives, it worked perfectly.

And, as Boldt's campaign guy, which he neglects to mention in his screed, above.... Since that Mains "doesn't know" is typical of the campaigns he's involved in... like the Shane Gardner debacle and Boldt's last embarrassment... that doesn't mean it won't work.

What Mains is worried about here is that he knows a credible GOP vote and a split leftist vote could result in.

And if it's such a clueless strategy, why would that little worm have responded at all?

I repeat: properly funded and directed, given this is a GOP county... this can work.  And since if either of the two morons on the ballot win, the damage would be incalculable, Pike is a great alternative to the tax and spend and ignore the people shtick of Boldt, who has an 8 year record of that, and the clueless leftist idiocy of Dalesandro, who will merely do all he can to obstruct the GOP majority while demanding various tax increases like he has in Battle Ground.

Yes... hatred on the left is the order of the day.  It would be a genuine HOOT, were this to succeed... given the despicable campaign of lies and deceit the C3G2 haters, including Greg Kimsey, ran to get this fraud of a charter passed.

I look forward to the effort.

Boldt guaranteed to lose again: Mains running his campaign

As I suspected for some time now, Jim Mains is going to lose another campaign for Marc Boldt.

The messenger, if not the author of the lie that I was opposing Boldt, my own brother-in-law, for election to anything because David Madore was paying me, Mains did an abysmal job running Boldt's last disaster, much like he ran Shane Gardner's abortion of a campaign and others foolish enough to hire him or his company to do anything besides take out the trash.

Thanks to Mains, Boldt is effectively broke and has nothing left that can make any difference in the foregone outcome of his abysmal effort.

Instead of hiring those morons, that's money better spent on targeted mailings or even robo calls (Marc's good at that.  Remember the one he did for that idiotic CTran tax increase?) that simply isn't there.

But Mains gets paid.

Sheesh.

UPDATES: Known for out-democrating local democrats, Boldt gets the Young Fringe Left Nutter endorsement.

Pretty sure these same idols endorsed sheriff candidate Shane Gardner over Sheriff Atkins as well... and did that work for him... or what?

As sad and pathetic as Mike Dalesandro actually is, however, it's not surprising that they'd blow Mike off and waste their endorsement on fellow democrat Marc Boldt.

No pandering or surprise here that Marc comes off even further to the left than fringer Dalesandro.

For me, what was most bizarre was the "reasoning" the Young Idiot's endorsed this GOP PCO, while claiming he is an independent.
Given their similarity in matters of policy, our members expressed the desire to support the candidate who had the experience and skills necessary to lead what will likely be a sharply divided council next year. In the end, we decided that Mr. Boldt’s independence and open-mindedness, as well as his past experience as a county commissioner, made him the right choice for the job. Furthermore, we were impressed with his vision for engaging youth in Clark County government. Going beyond the abstract affirmations of the importance of young people generally expressed by candidates, he laid out a plan for revitalizing the Clark County Youth Commission and for including the perspective of young people in a wide range of county departments and programs. This is a level of concern for the perspectives of young people we rarely see in candidates for any office.

I appreciate the fact that the Young Idiots see the same things in Marc that I do, save for his "Independence."

Self-delusion is the hallmark of the leftist, or else they wouldn't BE "leftists."

And to say this about someone who ran on and espoused GOP ideals such as smaller government, lower taxes and militantly pro-life for EIGHTEEN YEARS who is ALSO a Republican PCO, claiming that he has "independence" is yet another sign of what a group of morons these Young Idiots really are.

They've managed to confuse "independence" with "petulance" over getting kicked out of the local GOP for voting like Harry Reid and then losing to the equally militantly anti-CRC Scam David Madore.while they just ignore the fact that he filed as a "conservative Republican," and is STILL showing as a Republican on his PDC's
YDCC’s bylaws prevent us from endorsing Republicans. We determined candidates’ party affiliations – or lack thereof – by reviewing the official candidate listings on the Clark County Elections website.
And ignoring the inconvenient truths of his history, his pro-life/anti-abortion history and his current status as a GOP PCO who happened to file as an "R" on the PDC's.

In short, they limited their search to finding a way to make it happen... and they did... all other evidence to the contrary notwithstanding.

Look, I get why Boldt is going along with this.  He'd due almost anything to get help from SOMEBODY... so who else is there?

It's the kind of thing that happens when principles and facts take a far distant second to the idea of selling one's soul to get elected.

Boldt, best known for his leftist CRC scam support (and also, perhaps for being my brother-in-law) and his ultimately illegal vote to pay his wife's former employer with county funds so she could get paid, has been kicked out of the local GOP for ignoring the people and voting like the democrats were paying him.

The Young Idiots, knowing that Dalesandro has zero chance, believed they'd get some free major publicity from the daily local leftist press organ, and so they did.  Boldt, who has practically no money, needs all the help he can get and the Democratian, still indebted to Boldt for his bizarre, unfathomable  and unsupportable position on the CRC/Loot Rail scam, will be happy to comply... since they would set themselves on fire before they'd accept a Madore or Mielke victory.

And, their backhanded acknowledgement of what I've been saying all along, that Boldt, in reality, had become a democrat in everything but name only:
Given their similarity in matters of policy, our members expressed the desire to support the candidate who had the experience and skills necessary to lead what will likely be a sharply divided council next year.
"Similarity" indeed.

This outcome should have surprised no one

And Marc, in case you think I'm "hiding behind my computer," you know who, and where I am, and you know how to find me.

Unfortunately for Marc, this amounts to yet another reason to vote for someone not named Boldt.

So, why did Boldt file his PDC's as a Republican?

(FULL DISCLOSURE: I freely admit that I am totally opposed to Marc Boldt's election this time, just as I was last time, since he's completely sold out to the left; forgotten/ignored GOP principles, supports the CRC scam in it's entirety and wants to hang tolls around our neck for the next several decades that will destroy a great deal of small business in Clark County as a result.

NO candidate or campaign or anyone involved or in any way concerned with any candidate or campaign was aware of or approved or had input into this post.

Further, Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house.)

Yes, that's what the "R" means on the far right.

"Far right"  Strangely appropriate.

But all of Marc's verbiage about non-partisanship after 18 years in office as a Republican... it's kinda like the oddity of being such a rabid supporter of the Charter after being a commissioners for 8 years in a system that he thought was just fine at the time.

So, here's the thing:

Political opportunism is not Marc's strong suit.  I get the why of it; it's the same "reasoning" behind Shane Gardner's abortive effort.

It didn't work for Shane... I'm not thinking it's going to work for Boldt.

Local democrats appear to have figured it out: no d announced for county chair.

Further, Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house, 1994 - 2000.)

As of this writing, no democrat has stepped forward to become the next sacrificial lamb to the GOP juggernaut that Clark County has become.

This will likely to be the first time that no announced democrat has run for a countywide position.  It's early yet, of course, but as incredible as it seems, filing week begins Monday.

Our local leftists get it, of course, to the extent that their paper-thin bench is unelectable for the most part.

Even in the District 2 elections, they're running a couple of nobodies who can't win... but to forfeit the County Chair race shows how weak our local leftists have become.

The irony of all of this is that those leftists who are sitting this one out are the ones most rabidly behind the Charter scam.

Right now, there are two well-known Republicans running, David Madore and Tom Mielke (Both current commissioners) and Marc Boldt, who has described himself as both a conservative Republican (when he announced) and, most recently, a "moderate" Republican (In The Reflector article) focusing on the non-existent divisiveness that he has done so much to foster.

But the last thing the dems want to do is run another countywide race that will again reject their policies of arrogance, ignorance and rejection of the will of the voters... only to get clobbered at the polls.

Again.

In the meantime, Marc Boldt is playing the role of the pseudo leftist, the same failed campaign strategy of Shane Gardner, likely with the same outcome. He, too, was rabidly behind the charter because of his personal dislike of David Madore.

After all, Marc sure didn't do anything to change the shape or form of county government when HE was a commissioner, did he?

As of now, Marc is using leftist language to rally his leftist base in his emailers, so isolated from the GOP that he has no clue what their issues are or how to tap into the undercurrent of loathing for leftist policies and that same kind of leftist arrogance that he promulgated while a county commissioner while claiming allegiance to the GOP... an organization he admitted he hadn't even read the platform.

Some leftists will rally to the cause of the alleged "Conservative Republican" because they will be more than happy to ignore their wedge issues (Such as abortion, for example: the left hates pro-lifers with a passion, and Marc is militantly so... which will make zero difference to the left as they would elect anyone in their hatred of Madore and to a lesser extent, Mielke.)
Boldt hopes to BE the democrat candidate without saying it.  That's far too cute by half and I'll be spending a great deal of time explaining it as the election spools up.

Meanwhile, it will be a great political race between Madore and Mielke.  For conservatives, and unlike Marc, both have anti-CRC and anti tax-increase credentials that are impeccable.  Boldt and his handlers, meanwhile, are convinced that Madore and Mielke will split the conservative vote and one of them will be eliminated for the general.

The framework for that plan was the abortive Mussolini Mikey Briggs/John Ley/Brandon Vick race in the 18th District.  Ley and Vick split the GOP vote because Vick lied like Baghdad Bob and the people bought his garbage.

Meanwhile, Mussolini Mikey told the whole world that he'd "won" the primary... even though the combined GOP vote exceeded 60%.

Musso was crushed in the general to arguably THE weakest incumbent in the state, the utterly worthless Brandon Vick, by something over 63%, earning the sobriquet "Mr. 36%"

With the leftist vote, and a smattering of GOP'ers who don't know who Marc has become, he may survive to the general election.  But his dogged support of the CRC/light rail scam, his dogged opposition to advisory votes, his multiple tax increases and his arrogance concerning the will of those he would govern likely would do him in... easily.

Here, for example, is an example of the "conservative Republican" Boldt shilling for an unneeded, lied about tax increase in 2011 and how, rhetorically, it would save the world.

Credit Lew Waters

Meanwhile, it appears the local left is staying out of it.  They can't even find any first tier candidates to run for District 2 of the county council, let alone run county wide.

And how embarrassing is that?

So, why is Jim Mains throwing a snit over the Kimsey Allegations?

In the last election, Jim Main's "clients" all had one thing in common:

They all lost.

He made bank off of some, particularly that poor schlep Shane Gardner.  His fangs are likely STILL buried in Shane's neck. ($11,000 or so for such an abysmal outcome)

So, when Mains babbles this:
I get that he's wearing out kneepads for the downtown mafia.  As a political mercenary, he'll take money from just about anybody.  And in so doing, just about anybody should be prepared to lose.

But here's the thing: just because Mains is butthurt there's no reason for him to lie.  He has no basis for his statement, and no one is going to ever cast a ballot based on what the local GOP did or did not do in this matter.

A good candidate is a good candidate, regardless of what the GOP has done.  And there will be zero votes withheld from anyone because of this affair.

What Mains is saying here since he was a rabid charter shiller, is that he doesn't care whether what Kimsey did was illegal or not.

Tens of thousands may have a different view.

When it comes to "planks," Mains has no room to talk.  As a political analyst/consultant, his miserable outcomes speak for themselves.

In the end, we have a system in place.  The system needs to work.  And if Kimsey is found guilty of breaking the law as I suspect, then the results of this stupidity need to be invalidated and this needs to be done over.

I get that Mains and the rest of the charter scammers are terrified of that possibility.  But in the end, completely unsubstantiated and unproven claims ("I say it again, gop you have lost hundreds of local supporters") are as meaningless as his political advice.

In the event Kimsey is found guilty of wrongdoing, that will make no difference to the Mains of our community.  They don't give a damn that laws may have been broken to give them what they wanted.

Mains and his ilk represent a cancer on our community, where laws are but mere suggestions to be cast aside at their whim if they may not like the outcomes.  And if Kimsey is found guilty, what will they have to say then?

So, in the comments under this article at this point, who's objecting?

Why, every one of them is a C3G2 hater, including Mains.  Sheer coincidence, I'm sure.

To that extent, somebody in fact does look like a fool.

And his name is Jim Mains.

Sheesh.

Jim Mains crushes the "Lie Zone."

Since he's a leftist and a charter member of the downtown mafia, the local rag loves to quote Jim Mains on all things political.

Apparently, they failed to review his record in this most recent election.  Otherwise, they would have noted that his challenge candidates got clobbered.  Worst of all was Shane Gardner.

Now, Mains came to my attention in 2012 while he was driving my brother-in-law, Marc Boldt's campaign into the ground.

I opposed Marc's re-election for reasons listed in detail in other posts within this blog.

While that would have been huge news anywhere else, this rag didn't want the population of this county to know that I was opposed to Marc getting another term, and that I had been for quite some time.

That knowledge would have hurt him badly enough that he wouldn't have survived the primary... and the rag couldn't have that.

So, as a consultant to Marc's Titanic, Jim Mains was apparently asked why I would oppose Marc since I had made no bones about it on this blog and had done so for months before the election.

His response?

Something to the effect that I opposed Marc because Madore was paying me.

I get that he had to say SOMETHING.  After all, to say anything else would have been to actually bring the real reasons I oppose Marc to the fore, and man... the left just couldn't have that, could they?

That was a lie, of course, but it's the kind of thing he does.

However, since he's the democratian's bitch and supports all of their candidates, issues and projects, they naturally go to a sock puppet who will tell them precisely and absolutely what they want to hear.

Like this tripe:
If the pendulum is swinging to the right, many view Madore as one of the people responsible. He spent freely in 2012, primarily on his own campaign, and continued to do so in 2014.
That's a frightening sign for Democrats, who may have trouble matching big-money donations moving forward.
"(When) any individual is willing to spend that much money to influence the outcome of an election, we should all be concerned," said Mains, who works with both Republican and Democratic candidates.
I like the acknowledgement that Mains will work for anybody with a buck, and that political integrity really doesn't play all that much in his universe.

I missed Mains' squeals of outrage over the hundreds of thousands of Tom Steyer dollars dumped in to buy Inslee the Senate.

He must have slid his outrage about Monica Stonier getting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the WEA in her losing effort to stay in office.

And I missed his cries of outrage over the $3.5 MILLION Suzan DelBene spent to buy her congressional seat.

But as one of the C3G2 haters, he's not going to pass up a chance to take a shot at Madore... particularly knowing as I do that had Madore spent all that money on democrats, neither Main not any other C3G2 hater would have had problem one with it.

Shane Gardner never stood a chance of winning.  But you can bet that's not what Jim Mains was telling him as he was raping his campaign checkbook.

Add this to his idiocy:
Mains said: "Another reason the charter helps smaller areas (is), districts can elect someone without spending a lot of money."
That's utter nonsense.

There's no amount of money the downtown mafia wouldn't spend to get whoever they own elected to office.  And when the balance of the "council" is at stake, it will be just as, if not more, expensive than it is now.

Is it any wonder that his new candidates had a better chance of winning the lottery than they did winning their elections?

And this kind of hypocrisy?

Well, I'd say it's just par for ol' Downtown Jimmy's meme.

So, how did the charter scam pass?

As I stated here on numerous occasions, I believed that naked effort by the haters of the fringe-left would not only lose... it would be crushed.

My mistake.  There's a great many of us to share the causes for that failure, and I admit I am one.

The biggest mouth of the pro-Charter scammers is Lefty Lou Brancaccio.  Lefty Lou would falsely tell us that the outcome was a repudiation of David Madore and that he, Lefty, gets all the credit for it.

Under other circumstances, I might have agreed.

The problem?

Lefty Lou is wrong.  Dead wrong.

If Madore were even close to as radioactive as Lefty and the C3G2 haters believed, then every candidate he supported, directly or indirectly, would have lost.

The same lying scum from Greg Kimsey on down to the lowest of the many low-lifes infesting our C3G2 would have had their way, and our commission would have been slammed with a fringe-left obstructionist.

Not just in the Charter.  But in every campaign.

God Help Us, we'd have a slimeball like Craig Pridemore as a county commissioner.

WEA Lackey Monica Stonier would have been re-elected handily.

The child wearing a badge, Shane Gardner, would have become our sheriff.

Bully Loserham would have taken out our Liz Pike.

And you know what?

None of those things happened.

That, of course, is undeniable.

Oh, the fringe-left haters whine about their many loses.  In fact, one of them went so far as to buy 200 signs saying "Endorsed by David Madore" because our local leftists view him as the political anti-Christ.

In so doing, they faked THEMSELVES out.

You see, here's the most interesting thing out of all of this, from my perspective:

I haven't seen the figures by legislative district as yet, but I'm thinking that the 49th went huge in favor of the Charter.

And I've got to wonder: did the 14th, 17th, 18th and 20th do the same?

We'll know when the lazy C provides those cute little maps detailing their defeats.

Was it that long ago that the same slimeballs slobbering over the ever-shrinking pro-charter results with less than even a majority of voters voting for in total... bitched and whined and moaned about how little that meant based on the low turnout last cycle when they were crushed at the polls?.

Are we hearing that now?

Of course not.

"Now" is "different" when it goes the way you want, right, Lefty?

But here's how I believed it passed.

It was a combination of things:

Greg Kimsey's violation of everything an elected auditor should stand for while in that position no doubt played a major role.

His lies about the charter; his lies about repealing it if we were of a mind to do so, his involvement with the PAC that financed the campaign and his multiple violations of state law in the publishing of the campaign piece known as a voter's pamphlet obviously fooled many.

The tact taken by the pro-Charter side, no matter how false a vision was just that: a vision.  Blatantly false in most every respect, I failed to understand that nature of the attack and equally failed to reply with a vision: a vision of a leftist government out of control, a vision of the emperor administrator naming the winners and losers, and a vision of impossibility for the people to have the ability to change the charter, let alone repealing it.

And for that, I apologize.

Had the direction of the "no" campaign been as post-apocalyptic as this is likely to become for the next few years, there's a possibility that a few minds fooled into voting for this idiocy might have been changed.

Lefty Lou will, once again, break his own shoulder patting himself on the back for the passage of this garbage.

But, just out of curiosity, I have to wonder: is he also taking credit for the defeat of every candidate he supported who ran against his positions and his agenda?

Is he taking credit for Pridemore's defeat?

How about Stonier?  He taking credit for that?

Or Winningham?  He did everything he could for that moron.  He taking credit for that?

Or the East County Bridge advisory?  He counting coup with that?

Of course not.

Yet, perhaps he should.  After all, every editorial board this leftist piggy squealed at was all about whether or not Madore endorsed and/or financially supported a candidate.

And any such candidate endorsed and/or supported by Madore was there-upon crushed, berated and belittled by Lefty and fringe-left minions.

And they all seemed to win outside the 49th, Charlie's Country.

Support by Madore automatically meant that Madore was the puppet master and every candidate would do his bidding.

Even now, Lefty is babbling about Jeannie Stuart, who he had done all he could to trash even though he, Lefty, is personally unfit to carry her luggage:
Lou Brancaccio · Top Commenter · Editor in Chief at The Columbian
The election is over. We all should get behind Stewart. Give her an opportunity to show her independence from Commissioner Madore.
Lefty is taking this tact... temporarily... because he wants access to the commission at some level, so he thinks that playing nice... at least at first... will get him that.  Yet, we already know that any time Stewart joins with Madore for anything, Lefty will immediately start beating her with his Madore stick.

Like, for example, when the three commissioners finally join together to exercise their veto over CTran idiocy and stupidity.  Lefty will freak when that happens.

So, here's the thing: I don't want her to show her "independence" from Commissioner Madore.

Not one wit.

I want her to do exactly what she thinks is right.  And frequently, that will align very nicely with what Madore wants as well... and what Lefty and the rest of the downtown mafia will NOT want.

Lefty, for his part, will be satisfied with nothing less than a complete repudiation. a series of exact opposite votes from Madore.  The only thing Stewart can do to gain Lefty's approval, as if that approval mattered, will be to oppose Madore on everything.

And when that doesn't happen?  Lefty will throw another snit.

Because in the past, Lefty has frequently ignored what's best for this community.  He has lied, connived, colluded, attacked, divided, whipped the fringe-left into a frenzy and did his best to ignore the overwhelming numbers of this community.

To a hater like Lefty Lou, political acceptability begins and ends with the degree of divergence from David Madore.

And that kind of hatred is psychotic.

So, in the end, Lefty stupidly believes he got this done.  And I can buy that outcome the moment he also believes he caused the defeat of those he supported so strongly.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, will never, ever, happen.

Because with Lefty, the truth and reality of our community has long since died.

Election predictions, local.

Generally speaking this is shaping up to be a horrific year for anyone to the left of Romney.  I expect something of a GOP wave here, as well, since Clark County is the 39th most armed county in the United States and most gun owners around here are going to do their best to vote against the gun grabber initiative.

They will then vote GOP for the most part.  And they will be much more motivated to vote "no" on I-594 than the democrats will be to vote, period, since, the local democratian has told us that I-594 is going to pass... a rather foolish article that seemed to me to be designed to depress the leftist vote.

I haven't yet decided some of these races.  I may not.  But you can get the gist based on the following predictions/positions.  Of course, I cannot vote in the 17th District, unlike No Choice Royce Pollard, who, even though he lives in the 49th told me on a robo call that he CAN in fact, vote for Monica Stonier... and according to the call, wants us to join him in voting for her.

If I could vote in the 17th, the only one in that district who would be getting my vote would be Wilson.  None of the rest should be in office.

Congress: Herrera.

Sadly, this woman will be elected to another term.

A darling of the democratian, this faux "family values conservative" as the daily democrat referred to her after she was appointed to the state House of Representatives back in 2007 has now morphed into a Republican to the democrat's liking, a so-called "moderate Republican."

Herrera has accomplished absolutely nothing.  Too much of a coward to hold open town hall meetings, a big fan of Brian Baird, a cardboard, do-nothing cut-out of an effective member of Congress, Herrera accomplished absolutely nothing concerning stopping the CRC/Loot Rail debacle that wasted $200 million on a scam hated by the vast majority of her constituents in Clark County.

Unfortunately, her opponent is no better.  Bob Dingethal refuses to answer questions by prospective constituents that might conflict with his agenda.

Almost 330 days ago, I asked him for his positions on the CRC, repealing Obamacare, cutting funding to veteran retirees and disability recipients.  he has never responded.

I will vote for neither.

County Commissioner: Stewart

It's a tale of two candidates.  Jeanne Stewart has a long and distinguished history of fighting for us against the special interests, refusing to buckle under on the issue of the CRC Scam and refusing to be the lackey of the downtown special interests.

Craig Pridemore, on the other hand, is the template for a slimy, lowlife partisan hack.

One of the fathers of the horrific waste of money known as the CRC Scam, Pridemore's incessant whining and efforts to find a way to try and recall David Madore when combined with his rabid support of the hate-filled charter scam makes him unsuitable for election to crossing guard.

I will vote for Stewart.

18th District: Pike, Vick

Of the four candidates in the 18th District, only one of them is fit for elective office: Liz Pike.  Liz fought the CRC/Loot Rail scam tooth and nail.  She helped to lead the local charge while Lumpy was no where to be seen.

Unlike Brandon "Lumpy" Vick, Liz hit the ground running in Olympia while Vick  took what amounted to a year-long vacation.  While Vick will win, easily, it's more because the GOP could run a petunia and win in the 18th and not because Vick is any great political thinker.

Both of the democrats, Maureen "Bully" Loserham and Mussolini Mikey Briggs are the perfectly inverse reflection of this district, the exact opposite of the people of the 18th.

Loserham, a legendary job outsourcer for MacAfee, is a rabid CRC/Loot Rail scammer as is Mussolini.

That the project is almost universally reviled in the 1-8 is meaningless to them as it is to most area democrats, since they could all actually care less what we want, need or demand when it conflicts with their far left agenda.

Both Loserham and Mussolini believe we should all be bent over for the out-of-control state supreme court McCleary decision, because they both stupidly (And wrongly) believe that the court can order the legislature to legislate which is nonsense: they can no more do that than the legislature can order the Court to adjudicate.

That it would hurt us badly to have them rape our wallets is beside the point.  As wholly owned subsidiaries of the WEA, they'd walk through fire under teacher union orders.

I will vote for Pike. I will not vote for any of the other 3.

Unlike Lumpy, Pike's earned it.

County Prosecutor: Golik.

In county offices, I'm much more about doing the right thing and performance of the job.  That's particularly important in jobs that should either be non-partisan or, at minimum, non-elected.

To that end, Tony Golik has run a relatively low noise operation that gets the job done.  He's not flashy, and he is effective.  Brent Boger's endorsement has played a big role in this because frankly, I have to defer to Brent in this area of expertise.

I will vote for Golik.

County Treasurer: Colas.

Admittedly, I was thinking that Lasher had the gig locked up since he's been doing this job longer than we've had running water.

But Colas has made a compelling argument that politically, 30-years is long enough and Lasher has been mailing it in for far too long.  Further, he joined with Greg Kimsey and Peter VanNortwick in demanding a pay raise from the county commissioners a few days ago.  As a result, I will not be voting for any of these 3 for anything, anyway.

If, as I suspect, there's something of a GOP wave here... then it should Colas.

I will vote for Colas.

County Sheriff: Atkins.

Many leftists have coalesced around the Lame Brain Shane Train.  Between support of such lowlifes as most of the C3G2 haters and the charter scammers, including Jim Mains and that ilk, it's clear that the left doesn't want a county Sheriff, they want a county social worker.

Gardner lacks the experience and the maturity to do the job, as acknowledged by his moronic idea to get a retired sheriff from Oregon who knows nothing about Clark County to come over here and work for Gardner for a little while if he were to be elected as something of a keeper for Gardner to keep him from looking like a total idiot.

Chuck Atkins, on the other hand, is a cop who has commanded at just about every level.  He's endorsed by about everyone in law enforcement around here, as well as Tony Golik and even Betty Sue Morris.

I will vote for Atkins.

County Clerk: Weber.

I oppose Scott Weber for this or any other position, primarily because I believe he lied as a part of his campaign to get elected the first time.

He pledged to do all he could to make the position of elected county clerk go away.

That was 4 years ago and he's essentially done nothing to make that happen.

I would never think of voting for a pathological liar such as Tim "The Liar" Leavitt, for the exact same reason I would never vote for Weber.  Both lied to get elected, and no matter how good (Or in Leave-it's case, how unalterably terrible)  a job they've done since they've been elected, if they lied to us to get there, you've got to wonder what else they're going to lie to us about.

Unfortunately, Weber's opponent is a partisan hack in a job where partisanship is as worthless a brass door knockers.  Overt partisanship in this kind of campaign is a recipe for failure.

I will vote for neither.

County Assessor: VanNortwick.

Up until recently, I was just going to stay out of this:  But VanNortwick's idiocy in front of the commissioners vis the pay raise issue sealed the deal for me, and I will be voting for a guy who's only claim to fame is that he ran an abortive campaign for county commissioner against Tom Mielke.

Unfortunately, that won't be enough given Van Nortwick's name familiarity.  No one has ever heard of Wertz relatively speaking and that will likely keep VanNortwick in office.

I will vote for Wertz.

The Charter scam, aka Prop 1: "NO."

The hatred behind this stupidity is not enough to push it over the line.

For all of the reasons laid out by Marvin Case and many more, this is a bad idea pushed by the same fringe-left haters who made a serious effort to ram the CRC Scam down our throats.

I have always believed that this county should have had a charter.  Had this charter consisted of nothing BUT a charter with reasonable initiative/referendum requirements, I would have supported it.  Such a charter would have helped to end the CRC Scam years before it was actually temporarily derailed by the Senate in 2013.

But this effort is spite-based hatred of David Madore.  And that is no justification of anything when it comes to raping our local government structure and all that comes with it.

I will be voting "NO."

The WEA Scam, aka I-1351: Yes.

One of the many reasons to oppose Monica Stonier is that she's a complete WEA lackey.

What... you think they waste 100's of thousands of dollars on someone who wasn't?

And part of that is her idiotic stance in support of this scam.

First, as a rule, if the WEA and their lackeys want it, then I'm against it.

Second, this would put more money in Stonier's pocket so she should just stay the hell out of it.

This is just more of the WEA's organized crime.

I will be voting "No."

The gun-grabber initiative, I-594: Yes.

Because billionaires with armed guards only think they are worthy of having guns, they've spent millions on this scam.

I fully expect to be going to jail because I have zero intention of following this law that hypocrites like Bill Gates and so forth can ignore with ease.

I will be voting NO.

So.... those running for office... who's for the Charter scam? (Update 2)

To date, this is my take on those supporting the Charter scam:  Those who have yet to come out against it actually support it; because it's easy to claim to me that you oppose it, but if you're a candidate, unless you have the guts to come out publicly then that is worthless.

Candidates can feel free to contact me to correct me.

County Offices:

Commissioner:  Pridemore.

Sheriff: Shane Gardner.

Assessor: Wertz

Clerk:  Pauli-Hammond

Auditor: Kimsey (Who has likely broken the law he wants this passed so badly.)

Legislators:

49th District

No candidate running has come out against it that I'm aware of.

18th District.

Brandon Vick and Mike Briggs.

Bully Winningham

17th District

Paul Harris and McClusky

Monica Stonier

Congress

Bob Dingethal and Jaime Herrera.

VanNortwick tells me that he opposes the Charter without equivocation.

I am given to understand that both Colas and Lasher oppose the Charter.

Evidence is out there that Stewart, Weber, and Townsend oppose the Charter.

Golik has not taken a position due to appearance of conflict issues.

Chuck Atkins declared weeks ago he is opposed.

Saturday, October 18, 2014

So... who and what am I voting,.. against? (Includes out of district votes if I COULD vote)

The who:

1.  (WA03-Congress) Both Dingethal AND Herrera.

Neither are fit to represent a banana to a monkey.

2.  (17th District Pos 1) Monica Stonier.

I don't give a damn what she claims she's done: a vote for Stonier is a vote for the Seattle-centric House leadership that bends us over every hour on the hour.  She's offered nothing to address our cross-river transportation issues except the petulant-jerkism of local democrats pouting over the "loss" of their CRC/Loot Rail Scam.

3.  (17th District Pos 2) Neither McClusky OR Harris

Paul Harris has been a huge disappointment to me.  He's done nothing to help Lynda Wilson get elected and, in fact, I've heard he's sabotaged that effort to an extent because of the belief that at some point, Benton is going to resign from the Senate and that he wants what he'd consider to be unfettered access to the appointment to Benton if that happens.

I don't want either of them in my Legislature.

4.  (18th District Pos 1)  Neither Briggs OR Vick.

Vick has been a colossal waste of space.  The Columbian slavishly endorses him  because he stayed out of the CRC fight, not unlike the clueless moron we have representing us in Congress.  He's lied about his committee assignments in a stunt designed to make up for the entire first year he mailed it in and accomplished nothing after he was, unfortunately, elected.

Briggs is just a blithering, fringe-left idiot.

Neither one of them should be elected gas station attendant.

5.  (18th District Pos 2)  Bully Winningham

Perhaps THE biggest liar to ever run for office locally, and arrogant narcissist who knows as much about policy as she does brain surgery.  An executive for a multi-national that has outsourced as many as 50,000 jobs, Maureen Winningham STARTED her campaign with lies and went downhill from there.

She's not politically fit to be a crossing-guard.

6.  (49th District)  Nothing with a democrat label.

Molehill Moeller puts the F in fringe-left nutter.  Sharon Wylie isn't much better.  Neither have any interest in addressing cross-river transportation issues: thus, they are worthless.

7.  (County Commissioner Pos 3)  Pridemore

Craig Pridemore has run for, and failed to make it into the general election 2 out of the last 3 cycles, including an abysmal effort as a congressional candidate and another for state auditor.

As a father of the CRC Scam, he's proven there's no lie he won't tell, and like every other democrat running, he's obsessive about the horrific CRC/Loot Rail scam.  He doesn't care what we think, and has total buy-in to Steve Stuart's disregard for the will of the people, now legendary, albeit truthful.

No one should EVER be elected to anything, when those they would govern cease to be the reason they're there.  And Pridemore's rabid devotion to the CRC Scam disqualifies him from office.

8.  (Treasurer) Doug Lasher

Lasher's been treasurer since the dawn of time (30 years.) Even if he HADN't been losing us money, it would be time for him to go.

9.  (Sheriff) Shane Gardner

The list of reasons to vote against this guy is both long and distinguished.  At this point, Gardner, the alleged (fake) "independent" has done all he can to get democrat party support. Scum like Jim Mains are sucking his campaign cash dry and working hard to get their fellow leftist nutters on board the Lame Brain Shane Train.

He's lucky to have a badge, let along become our sheriff.  Don't waste your vote.

10.  (Prosecutor) Josie Townsend

I am not going to oppose someone because of the letter after his or her name.  In this case, I'm not going to support someone, either.

Yesterday, I attended a fundraiser for democrat Tony Golik who I had strongly opposed back in 2010.  It is the first democrat fundraiser I have attended in the 26 years I've been politically active.

His actions while in office have earned our trust.  I don't know Josie Townsend from Adam.  But if Golik is doing a good job... if any of these people are doing a good job, then they shouldn't be rewarded with political enmity.

11.  I've got nothing on county clerk or assessor.

The whats:

1.  Absolutely against the WEA's latest rob us measure, I-1351.

The biggest scam in a history of emptying our wallets for classroom prima-donnas who contribute so much to our 30% drop out rate.

Not only "no," but HELL no.

2.  The gun-grabber initiative, financed by a bunch of out of state scum who don't live here, I-594.

This is going to turn my into a criminal because I am cheerfully going to ignore this idiocy if it passes.

Add this to the HELL no file as well.

3.  The partisan-hate Proposition One: the Charter scam.

Written for an by those who hate the elected conservatives on the county commission, among other reasons to vote "no" include Marvin Case's analysis in the Reflector.

Partisan hatred will never be an adequate reason to rape our current governmental system.  There is absolutely nothing to recommend this hack job, this hissy fit against the conservative majority on the county commission.

Three for three on the "Hell no" list.

Sunday, October 12, 2014

Was there ever a question? With his leftist bent, of COURSE the democratian would endorse a badge-happy social worker.

In my mind, there was never any question that the slime at the democratian were going to go with Gardner:  There number one rule is to endorse the democrat for any open seat, and Gardner is that.

Fortunately for us all, democratian endorsements lack a certain something around here that really, really, matters:

The ability to manipulate electoral outcomes.

They have none.  If they did, we'd still have Commissioner Boldt and we'd alsio have Commissioner Tanner.  And how'd that worked out for them?

Shane Gardner is an egotistical punk.  He'd be the perfect fit as Clark County Social Worker, but not so much as Clark County Sheriff.

He lacks the needed experience (His little-publicized selection for undersheriff, a retired sheriff who knows nothing about Clark County was a nod to that obvious fact but just served to re-enforce the lack of experience meme) he's ethically challenged, he's self-aggrandizing and he''s proven that he'll abuse his badge to get what he wants... and the democratian goes along as a willing accomplice.

Gardner screws up... Again.(Updated)

First of all, when I eliminate candidates from my consideration, it's because of either the strategic aspect (Sorry: there's no way a Republican can win in the neo-communist 49th District.  I wish there was sometimes, but it's just not going to happen.) or because of something they do, or something they are.

Shane Gardner has shown himself as to be exactly what we DON'T need for a sheriff.  Criminals are NOT "knuckleheads."  It's not his job to run a stick through the psychological entrails of our local criminals:   I don't care... nor should he... what makes them tick.  That's not his job.

This moron actually blamed the police in Ferguson, instead of the rioters.

Another reason to vote for Atkins: memo to Shane Gardner - the RIOTERS are responsible for this.

His job should be to lock up the bad guys.  And if I'm in need of a Deputy, I want a COP, not a social worker.

Gardner got voted off my island because of his ego, his immaturity, his self-aggrandizement. and his lack of maturity.

Should Shane Gardner be campaigning while wearing his badge, gun and vest?

I discovered, quite inadvertently, that the decision had been made by the powers that be that they were going to back Gardner as far back as 3 years ago, after they gave him that PR splash for flashing his badge so despicably all over New York City to horn in on the 9/11 ceremonies in that city.

I figured the jig was up when the Columbian lied about the SOURCE of the pictures they used.

Why are pictures provided by Shane Gardner called "file photos" by the Lazy C?

The source was Shane Gardner.  The democratian called them "file photos."  Gardner obviously has someone highly placed in the rag... owner, maybe?  Who determined that he was going to be Gardner's guy to help launch his soon to be abortive political career.

The left has coalesced around this clown: claiming to be an "independent," he has done everything he can to get democrat support.  He's been raped by his consultant (financially, of course) who is a fringe-left whack job and a former charter-shilling freeholder... but one of the darlings of the leftist downtown mafia.

The case AGAINST Gardner is clear.  And, when compared to Chuck Atkins, there is no case FOR Gardner.  And like most democratian endorsements, this stands as yet another reason to vote against this clown... which I and my entire family are going to do.

Switching support in the Superior Court race.

Up until recently, I have been leaning toward Veljacic in the Superior Court Judges race.

But with the Columbian's slobbering, non-sensical, hate-conservatives endorsement.... along with the support of a C3G2 hater and fringe-left whackadoo in the comments... that's done.

Frequently, the rag fails to provide any compelling reason to vote for anyone they support.  Their support of a candidate makes my default position to vote for whoever they pass over in their anti-conservative jihad.

This is one of those times.

They offer precisely zero reason to re-elect this young man, who may be very well everything they're saying he is.  And if he is, that does not stand as a reason to elect him: on the contrary, that a clueless idiot like Inslee appointed him stands as a reason, by itself, to vote against him.

Combine that with the rag's description of him as a social worker type:
For Veljacic, an examination will reveal a jurist whose career is marked by outreach and compassion. Shortly after graduating from law school in the late 1990s, he founded the Union Gospel Mission Legal Services Clinic (now Open Door Legal Services) in Seattle, which assists homeless people in family law, immigration, and debt cases. He has served on the Clark County Diversity Advisory Committee and has been a member of the Washington State Bar Association's Character and Fitness Board. He also serves on the state's Clemency and Parole Board.
I don't want a social worker judge any more than I want a social worker sheriff.

On the other hand, the rag mentions that the local bar has rated Vukanovich as superior in every respect:
Vukanovich's respect among his peers was evident when he was a candidate for the Superior Court position to which Veljacic was appointed. Vukanovich received the highest marks in a poll of bar association members — both overall and in the categories of legal ability, judicial temperament, integrity, and relevant legal experience.
I've met them both. Veljacic is personable and he'd make a great manager of a social service agency.

But that's not I want with a judge.

I want someone who is going to put the bad guys away.  That's why I oppose Shane Gardner:  I am much less concerned about their motives and their upbringing than I am about them going Away for a long, long time or being given the death penalty for committing murder... which all murderers should face as a result of their crimes.

Strike one for Veljacic was that he was appointed by Inslee, hardly a ringing endorsement of either sanity or community... but Inslee's stubborn insistence on ramming loot rail down our throats along with his equally rabid support of the Cowlitz Casino shows that he could care less about us.

Strike two was this idiotic endorsement, which rings through with the theme "he's a leftist and we like him" which isn't nearly enough of a reason to support anyone in the face of the qualifications, experiences and ratings by the local bar.

Strike three:

Monday, September 29, 2014

Likely local outcomes in the general.

County races:

Clerk - Weber.

That I'm not voting for him doesn't mean others won't.  I tried to warn him to actually act on his campaign promise of eliminating his job as an elective position, but he failed to do that.  None the less, even the fringe-left democratian has pointed out that "He has performed the job well and has done nothing to embarrass his office."

In short, except for his party affiliation, they find nothing objectionable about him and, were he a democrat, he would certainly be endorsed for re-election... yet another sign of the rag's incipient Madore Hatred Syndrome.

I don't care for either of them and won't vote for either.  That said, this is a GOP tide and unknown partisan leftists like Pauli-Hammond are in for a tough sled.

Prosecutor: Golik.

Golik's administration of the Prosecutor's office has been more of a model than a partisan slugfest.  Brent Boger's endorsement sealed the deal for me, and the combination should be enough to lift him out of the GOP tide.  I'm not going to vote for anyone just because they have a letter after their names.

Treasurer:  Likely Colas.

Colas has both a compelling resume' and has found some irregularities in the office of the treasurer.  That Doug Lasher has been in office longer than most of Clark County has been alive is no reason to keep him there.

Colas makes a great case that Lasher is losing us money.  And that's reason enough, I believe, to replace him and give Colas a shot.  However, it's a steep hill to climb, given Lasher's name familiarity, and this call is subject to revision if I don't see a wave of effort coming to rectify that sort of thing.

Sheriff: Atkins

Atkins is an adult.  Gardner is a child.  Atkins is a cop, Gardner is a social worker.

I've busted Gardner for his arrogance and narcissism.  The Lame Brain Shane Train screwed up by going all in as part of an effort to put a nanny into the office by not only going outside the county but outside the state to get someone with the background that Gardner, himself, lacks.

Marc Boldt's endorsement along with the rest of the rabid left doesn't help.

Gardner is broke (Only reporting 5 donors this month and now having spent a few thousand more than he's raised) and getting terrible, unbelievably useless and expensive advice from fringe-left nutter Jim Mains.  His endorsement list is a who's who of CRC Scammers.  He'd be perfect for the job of Clark County Social Worker, but not for top cop.

Atkins continues to extend his fund raising lead and has even garnered support from Betty Sue Morris and the county Prosecutor, democrat Tony Golik.

That combination is just too strong... and it's Atkins.

Assessor: Van Nortwick.

Four years ago, Lefty Lou Brancaccio used his soap box to savage Peter Van Nortwick, again showing his partisan hatred by endorsing a woman in that office who had not voted during the entirety of her LIFE.

The guy running against Van Nortwick, Wertz, is running because, as I understand it,  he's pissed off at how something turned out between himself and Peter's office.

Wertz is a Ridgefield City Councilman who also ran against Tom Mielke in 2012.  Essentially, it takes genuine anger to unseat an incumbent, or some level of incompetence (See Lasher, for example)

Van Nortwick is likely to take this as Wertz has raised a whole $750.  That shows that people have already voted with their wallets.

Commissioner: Stewart.

Craig Pridemore has made it clear that he'll ignore us and fight for his fellow fringe-leftists and the other special interests who own him like the 13th Amendment was the 13th Suggestion.

Jeannie Stewart has fought her way through personal tragedy and she has a record of fighting for the people on the CRC Scam, that Pridemore has major ownership of, that he can only dream of.

Stewart in a walk.

The County Charter: Will be crushed.

This is likely to be the biggest ass-whoppin' since the '95 loot rail vote.

Partisan hatred is not a reason to change the structure of our government, particularly when neither former Commissioner Betty Sue Morris nor former Commissioner Craig Pridemore had any problem with the system we have in place right now.

In the end, nothing the pro-Charter scammers can say gets them over that hurdle: if it was all that bad, then why didn't Pridemore or Morris do something about it when they were commissioners?

East County Advisory Vote: PASS

It will pass this time like it passed last time.  And I'm going to revel in it since it pisses off the C3G2/democratian haters

17th District:  Wilson

All seats currently GOP in Clark County will be GOP after this election.

Both seats in the 49th will remain democrat.

The only seat in play is Stonier's in the 17th.

Stonier has no real argument to keep the seat.  She claims she's voted against taxes.  But like every other fringe-left nutter, she's OCD about the CRC Scam and she offers absolutely NOTHING along the lines of addressing our cross-river traffic inadequacies.

But the number one reason to get rid of her is that no matter how conservative she tries to act, she's a vote for the fringe-left leadership of the House.  That and that alone is enough.

Linda Wilson has and is running a stellar campaign, one of the best I've seen by a first time challenge candidate.  She will surf the tide of GOPdom and will actually be a damned fine representative.

This is all subject to change: after all, there are 35 or so days left... and that can be an eternity.

But it seems fairly straight forward.

3rd Congressional: Herrera (Unfortunately)

Dingethal's only chance was to separate out from his fellow fringe-left nutters, move to Herrera's right and become the one thing the fringe-left nutters cannot stand: a conservative democrat.

His lack of responsiveness doomed him to the point where he was broke and has been broke.  That Herrera is equally worthless just means that neither of them are worth voting for.
