In the last election, Jim Main's "clients" all had one thing in common:
They all lost.
He made bank off of some, particularly that poor schlep Shane Gardner. His fangs are likely STILL buried in Shane's neck. ($11,000 or so for such an abysmal outcome)
So, when Mains babbles this:
But here's the thing: just because Mains is butthurt there's no reason for him to lie. He has no basis for his statement, and no one is going to ever cast a ballot based on what the local GOP did or did not do in this matter.
A good candidate is a good candidate, regardless of what the GOP has done. And there will be zero votes withheld from anyone because of this affair.
What Mains is saying here since he was a rabid charter shiller, is that he doesn't care whether what Kimsey did was illegal or not.
Tens of thousands may have a different view.
When it comes to "planks," Mains has no room to talk. As a political analyst/consultant, his miserable outcomes speak for themselves.
In the end, we have a system in place. The system needs to work. And if Kimsey is found guilty of breaking the law as I suspect, then the results of this stupidity need to be invalidated and this needs to be done over.
I get that Mains and the rest of the charter scammers are terrified of that possibility. But in the end, completely unsubstantiated and unproven claims ("I say it again, gop you have lost hundreds of local supporters") are as meaningless as his political advice.
In the event Kimsey is found guilty of wrongdoing, that will make no difference to the Mains of our community. They don't give a damn that laws may have been broken to give them what they wanted.
Mains and his ilk represent a cancer on our community, where laws are but mere suggestions to be cast aside at their whim if they may not like the outcomes. And if Kimsey is found guilty, what will they have to say then?
So, in the comments under this article at this point, who's objecting?
Why, every one of them is a C3G2 hater, including Mains. Sheer coincidence, I'm sure.
To that extent, somebody in fact does look like a fool.
And his name is Jim Mains.
Sheesh.

I say it again, gop you have lost hundreds of local supporters, you look like bloody fools and if no one is saying it to your face they are sure saying it behind your back. Remove the plank from your own eye before pointing out the speck in your brothers eye.
