Kavanaugh and why the RINOs have got to go.

Local GOP politics are not the only ones cursed with the RINO gestalt.  The amateur leftists around here masquerading as Republicans could/// and likely have... taken lessons from the Big League RINOS in the US Senate.

Most who read my meager effort are well aware of the cancer local fake Republicans are on the area politic.

But if you have been following the legalized lynching of Judge Kavanaugh, then you can see exactly and precisely how weak and vacillating and subject to manipulation these spineless slime actually are.

As an intellectual exercise, ponder where we'd be right now if ALL of the roles were reversed.

Clinton is president, democrats have total control of the senate... much like they do now, come to think of it... and a male version of Ginsberg is Judge Kavanaugh.

Does anyone reading this believe... for one minute... that the democrats would not have already confirmed him?

Look at democrat handling of sexual assault issues in the past.  Gary Studds... took a minor senate page out of the country to have sex with him.

Eventually, they made Studds a committee chair.

Cory Booker's self-PUBLISHED escapades at the same age as Kavanaugh's allegations.

Did Booker "see the light?"

Publicly he did.

But does that make up for what he did BEFORE the switch was flipped?

What would the democrats be saying now if a woman came forward from back then, her foggy repressed memories including allegations of rape against Sen. Booker?

Nothing.  Booker is a star.  They would say nothing.

In fact, the ONLY reason they finally turned on former Sen. Al Franken is because the pictures of his escapades were publicized.

Had there been no actual pictures of Franken's acts in existence?

We all know that Franken would STILL be a sitting US Senator.

And, of course, Ted Kennedy only killed a woman.

Mary Jo Koepechne has remained strangely silent through these leftist kabuki theater sessions.

And the other ongoing case where it would seem that democrat US Representative Keith Ellison has a hobby of beating the hell out of women when the mood strikes.

We're told by Hillary Clinton, perhaps one of THE biggest hypocrites alive, that we should BELIEVE ANY allegation of sexual assault from a woman.

Oh, the irony.

Clinton's edit only applies when the allegations are against Republicans.

Right, Juanita Broaddrick?

Right, Paula Jones?

Right, Kathleen Willey?

It certainly didn't apply when the criminal was her husband, did it?

And like the others I've named here, the democrats simply don't care.

But then, to be a leftist is to BE a hypocrite.

Perhaps the worst part of this, however, is that RINOs in the United States Senate are allowing this to happen.

Sen. Grassley has allowed these democrat scum to walk all over him and the committee.

The first time the leftists in the audience broke decorum, Grassley should have cleared the room.

The first time any of the Senators spoke out of order, he should have cut them off... permanently.

The first time any aspect of disrespect came from anyone, he should have had them tossed.

But he didn't.

And now, because he lacked ENOUGH of a backbone to do what SHOULD have been done, a RINO has been manipulated by his leftist colleagues into wasting ANOTHER week as the democrats stall to keep Judge Kavanaugh off the bench.

And the reason the RINOs HAVE this power rests with Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader and his total lack of caucus discipline.

The allegations against Judge Kavanaugh would be laughable if they weren't so sick.

This SEVENTH investigation by the FBI based on.... nothing but the "memories" of a fringe-left whack job, whose lawyers sure look like they're getting paid under the table:

As I indicated earlier, additional allegations will take place.  And they'll happen because the RINOs have lost sight of what they are there to do.

While the democrats are, in fact, lynching a good man and his family... causing them death threats and the like... they are being aided and abetted by RINO tools who lack the guts to stand up to them.

Image result for Feinstein Murkowski
Leftist hangman Diane Feinstein LITERALLY backs Alaska RINO Sen. Murkowski into a corner over Kavanaugh... and Murkowski LETS her.

Who "owns" who in this picture?

Why didn't Murkowski kick her in the nuts and walk away?  Who the hell is Feinstein to think she can treat anyone this way?  What would we be hearing if that had been, say, Sen. Kennedy or any other male Senator?

This is but a single snippet of the RINO mindset.  They LET themselves be pushed around, manipulated, get bean up.

Look at the scum we have in the Legislature from around here.

Hundreds of millions in tax increases rammed down our throat here in Clark County, thanks to Rivers and Wilson, alleged REPUBLICANS who vote in ways that would have made Jim Moeller blush.  Exploding property taxes.  Exploding gas taxes.  Exploding Tab Fees.

Look at Marc Boldt.  He USED to be a conservative Republican.  Used to act like one.  Used to VOTE like one.

USED to.

In fact, when Boldt announced for county chair the first time (2015), he claimed he was still a "conservative Republican" in the Columbian... but when he announced in the Reflector, he was a "MODERATE Republican."

And then?

Then he wasn't a Republican at all.

As if I didn't know that years before he went public with it.

That didn't stop RINO former chairs... five of them... from endorsing him instead of actual Republican Rep. Liz Pike.

That, of course, was based on their RINO hatred of conservatives.

In the current iteration of the local GOP, there is no room for conservatives.  In fact, the RINOs are making a concerted effort to keep ME out of the GOP as a PCO.  Never mind that I ran unopposed.

Democrats would like people to believe that the GOP is racist, bigoted and only cares about old white guys (Of which, I am one.)

There is no racism that I've seen.  But there is bigotry... bigotry of the political variety.  Bigotry of the sort practiced by the democrats in the US Senate.  Bigotry of political philosophy.  Bigotry that runs so deep, when you stand up to them, they attempt to publicly humiliate and destroy you, as the drugged out GOP chair has attempted to publicly destroy me through HIS defamation of me personally.

That bigotry has led to the chair of the GOP actually SUING A PCO.

That's unheard of.  But it's one of the many RINO-esque efforts made to silence conservatives generally and opposition particularly.

So you see, it doesn't matter the level.  Local RINOs or national RINOs... they have all got to go.

REMEMBER: Vote Republican in this upcoming election.  No matter who is running, you have the option available.

I've just added this to the heading: The stories we want to read the least... but the ones we need to see the most.

I admit it; I'm hated by the local GOP RINO establishment. Hated so much that a serious effort seems to be underway to keep me from being seated as a Precinct Committee Officer.

Exclusive of the obvious, that such a move would insure that those living in this precinct would be as silent on Republican issues here locally as they were under the four years Marc Boldt had the job of PCO but blew off the duties and responsibilities that came with it, the charge on this is being led by soon-to-be-former chair, Davey Gellatly.

Part of that, I'm given to understand, is a result of this blog, where he has told others it's "nothing but lies."

Well, facts and truth, you see, are nonpolitical.  Truth wears no political label.  Facts stand alone, regardless of their politics.

And those running their circus certainly do not want to hear... or read... facts that I provide and have provided for the better part of the last 13 years around here.

Since 2010 when I added a counter, 1.4 million page views have taken place on my meager effort.  Some fairly spectacular months had 47,000+ views, most recently this past July.

Around 17,000 views on my expose's about Gellatly's latest fiascos was the subject.

Well, no good deed goes unpunished in the Gellatly Fiefdom, so his parting gift will be an effort to exclude me, lawfully unopposed as a PCO, from having any seat of any kind in the deliberations of the local GOP.

For their part, none in the Gellatly Cult have ever formally notified me of this effort.  I have attended at least two PCO meetings since the decision was made to deprive my precinct of any voice in local GOP affairs.

I am, apparently, guilty of having voted only for democrats in the last election (2016, I presume) (which is patently false) and writing nothing but lies from my meager effort here in this blog.
Having served the GOP as a PCO, District Chair, County Delegate, State Delegate and Executive Director of the State GOP; the campaigns I worked on (GOP only) including Benton, Rivers (back when she was a Republican, before she lied to us all to get elected to the state senate), Mielke, Pike, Linda Smith, Bob Williams and the like over the last 31 years spared me from such a claim?
I guess not.

What AM I "guilty" of?

Accountability.

You see, I've got this weird idea going on that those who run as Republicans for elective office should actually vote as Republicans when they get there.

I've got this equally strange concept that candidates, who make pledges as a part of their campaign, should be held accountable when they've lied to get elected, such as Sen. Rivers' solemn pledge to oppose any gas tax or tab fee increase, only to betray the people of her district and this county to the tune of $700 million.

And, of course, our most recent teacher strike debacle and property tax explosion, all made possible by that selfsame Senator, who was hired by a DEMOCRAT campaign firm during session where she was bending us over for the WEA (euphemistically referred to as "negotiating") that resulted in our exploding property taxes AND this extortion known as an illegal teacher's strike that caused so much damage and indebted every local school district.

Defending conservatives and working for their election.

You will note that every name on the list above are conservative politicians, strangely successful, in spite of my involvement.

The leadership of this party, both past and present, did everything they could to keep Rep. Pike from winning the write-in candidacy she ran when there was no Republican on the ballot and five former party chairs, including Boger, Donnelly, Gaston, Ferris, all endorsed nonRepublican Marc Boldt instead of an actual Republican.

Talk about hatred of conservatives.

Brent Boger recently engaged in some of that typical rank hypocrisy when the 18th District PCO's were wise enough to endorse incumbent Julie Olson's challenger, Elisabeth Veneman, for her county council seat.

Boger vaporlocked.  And in vaporlocking, he showed his true hatred of conservatives by throwing a fit over the fact his fellow RINO didn't make the cut.

Never mind that the entire county GOP failed to endorse Olson.

Never mind that Boger, himself, has campaigned against conservatives, endorsing Marc Boldt over Liz Pike in 2015 and endorsing Boldt again this year over the only Republican on the ballot, Eileen Quiring.

The sordid details, off of Boger's own keyboard, are here.  Fortunately, Boger was defeated in his PCO race and as a result, the cancer of his involvement will soon be at an end.

Some, including our druggy/four counts of theft 3, DUI'd party chair, have done all they can to get rid of any conservatives, like the slaughter of last October 17, something which clearly will bear a great deal more investigation soon after Reorg in December.

Now, I have certainly discussed these and other issues like these in the past.  You will certainly see them in the future as I examine each candidate and incumbent of the GOP for the following criteria:
Incumbents.
    1.  Did they lie to get elected in the past?
    2.  Have they lied since they were elected?
    3.  Did they vote to jack up our taxes and/or fees?
    4.  Do they ignore your emails/letters or other communications?
    5.  Do they vote like the special interests own them?
    6.  Specifically, did they vote in support of the CRC/Loot Rail resurrection?
    7.  Do they support Obamacare and vote against its repeal?
    8.  Do they support an income tax?
    9.  Do they support gun grabbing?
    10.  Do they support open borders, illegal aliens voting, and attack the President for doing the same things Obama did during HIS regime?
    11.  Do they use a big-mouthed spouse out there as a surrogate to attack conservatives?
    12.  Are they arrogant?
    13.  Are they narcissistic?
    14.  Did they vote for that horrific budget in 2017 from the GOP that caused our property taxes to explode and emboldened the teachers to go on strike?
Any one of these reasons or combination of reasons?  Then don't vote for them.

Candidates.
    1.  Do they support an income tax?
    2.  Do they support gun grabbing?
    3.  Do they lie?
    4.  Do they mouth talking points based on hatred?
    5.  Do they sound like they're more suited to be representing the U District in Seattle than any part of Clark County?
    6.  Are they endorsed by anyone guilty of any of the reasons listed under "incumbent" above?
    7.  Do they support Obamacare?
    8.  Do they ignore your emails/letters or other communications?
    9.  Do they support open borders, illegal aliens voting, and attack the President for doing the same things Obama did during HIS regime?
    10.  Are they arrogant?
    11.  Are they narcissistic?
    12.  Did they support that horrific budget in 2017 from the GOP that caused our property taxes to explode and emboldened the teachers to go on strike?

Any one of these reasons or combination of reasons?  Then don't vote for them.

You, of course, can add or subtract anything you like to you list.  But the lists I've provided here are worthless IF YOU DON'T DO THE WORK.
Those are unforgiveable political crimes according to the RINOs and whoever it is jerking Gellatly's chain.

And all of this brings us to the addition I just made to the heading: much of what I write is unpleasant.  I get that.  It doesn't read like a political press release.  I get that as well.

But these issues I raise and tell you about are designed to use the disinfectant of light to clean out a nest of vipers who have failed to understand that their primary duty is not to themselves... but instead, it is to get those with Republican tenets elected... a concept that has escaped the GOP for the last two years as the organization has spent a great deal more time and resources attempting to destroy the conservative element of the local GOP, including taking the essentially unbelievable step of SUING A PCO.

This organization in this cycle has provided zero candidate funding that I can find.  They've spent money otherwise needed on useless signs as they delude themselves into believing they've made and will make any difference what...so... ever.

Signs, of course, get no one elected.  But egos won't allow that acknowledgement.

Thus the phrase, the stories we want to read the least... are the ones you need to see the most.

I will continue to fight to expose the lies, the betrayals, the backstabbing and the truth.

Of course, the simplest way to avoid me mentioning these issues is simply to stop committing them.

The Party has a job to do.  The last two years have been a miserable failure in doing it.  Soon, that will hopefully be at an end.

Weekly Jake Browning review.

OK.  This past game against Arizona State was a major improvement over past games.

With the exception of a late second quarter (1:35 to go) 3 and out where Jake threw two really stupid passes, one to each sideline that were DOA before they left his hand, he played a much more solid game against a team that stunned the Dawgs in Tempe last year.

Improved play by the offensive line held ASU to a single sack and managed to get the running game opened up.

Jake had his first game without an interception this year, at 15/22, (68.2%) 202 yards and 3 Touchdowns... now 7 TD's and 4 INTs.

Gaskin and Ahmed kept ASU honest, combining for 157 yards.

The defense was very strong.  They had some issues with ASU's running game, allowing a 104 yard game by Eno Benjamin, but we had a turnover from him when we needed it.

It was a solid, if not spectacular game where Washington, favored by 18, won by 7... and fell out of the top ten (#11) as a result.

Next week, it's BYU in Seattle.  Again, the Huskies are about the same favorites over BYU as they were over ASU (17 vs 18)

Does that mean Washington will win by 7?

Jake had his best game.  If he continues to produce like this... decisive... focused, in command, hitting passes with a tiny window like his pass to Cade Otten (Who had a great game as a tight end) at the very far right edge of the end zone where there was about 1 square foot that made that ball catchable (11:10 4th quarter)... then the Dawgs can do very, very well this year.

Jake is showing substantial improvement.  Good for him... and good for the Dawgs.

The irony of soon-to-be ex-PCO Brent Boger's RINO Julie Olson hissy-fit.

By now, regular readers know that senior RINO Brent Boger was defeated in his effort to get reelected PCO.

Like most of the childish RINOs, he had a hard time accepting his defeat, and then felt compelled to come out and lie about it all by claiming that he "really didn't want the job anyway."

Brent Boger, acting like a full on baby: "I didn't really want to win my PCO race anyway."

The lie was easy to disprove: his efforts to keep the gig spoke for itself.

Well, a couple of weeks ago, ol' Brent (who a month ago claimed he didn't WANT to be a PCO) showed up at the 18th District PCO meeting where, among other things, fellow RINO Julie Olson was tossed out the window when it came to endorsements in her race against Venemen.

Brent didn't like that all that much.  And so, in the spirit of Republicanism which this clown has turned on and off like a switch, he wrote this garbage on facebook about it:

Why Brenty-poo... I'd say, based on your temper tantrum here, YOU do.

Look.

I get that Olson thinks, acts and votes like a leftist, much like you would if you could ever get voted into anything that mattered.

But here's the deal:

Olson is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the downtown mafia who, like you, simply doesn't give a rat's ass what her constituents think. Venemen is the exact opposite

Had these same people ENDORSED your fellow semi-communist, would you have written this crap?

Of course not.

You'd have been babbling how these forward-thinking visionaries were the greatest thing since canned beer.

See, Brent, it's not JUST that you're a hypocrite, is the size of your hypocrisy that reeks more than a Camas paper mill.

But that wasn't all, of course.  Boger had to double down on his stupidity and arrogance, and continue to shoot off his pie hole.

Notice the applause he garnered from his fellow leftists in this thread, along with fellow loser Harston and, of course, "Officer" Sean "The Mad Texter" Guard.

You remember Guard, don't you?  He was exposed based on some fairly explicit text messages he was sending to a woman, shall we say, not his wife?

And, of course, that was AFTER he pled guilty to impersonating a police officer.

Back in the day, ol' Brent despised Guard and regularly fed me information to trash him with.

But, as they say, that was then and this is now.

Really, Brent?

Are they?

Well, why does anyone endorse anyone?

Doesn't that same sort of "reasoning" apply to ANY endorsement, you idiot?

For example, when you and those other 4 morons sent that letter out endorsing non-Republican Marc Boldt for County Chair over Republican Rep. Liz Pike back in 2015?

For another example, isn't that why YOU endorsed Marc Boldt over Republican Eileen Quiring in THIS election?

How come 70,000 or so Republicans couldn't "make their own decisions" then?  How come they couldn't make their own decision NOW?

How many faces do you have?  Two?  A dozen?

See, YOU want to do what YOU want to do.

Anyone ELSE who does it in a way you don't like, well, then you have to throw a snit.

Like Boldt, Olson has been a disaster.  Precisely like I said both of them would be.  And when an incumbent gets 22%... an incumbent YOU backed.... what does THAT mean?  (Of course, we need to remember that he only got 39% in the first place.)

So THOSE "12 extremists" did EXACTLY the same thing you... and Donnelly... and Gaston... and Ferris... and Rasmussen did when you turned against a Republican in favor of Boldt...

You have a problem with THESE 12.  But you had NO problem with you five, did you?

So tell us, Brent: how is it that you five RINO extremists have the privilege to endorse, but anyone opposed to your pathetic politics doesn't?

See, in The Almighty Boger's world, the only people qualified to have any judgment are, well, Boger and anyone who agrees with Boger.

Obviously, Brent Hissyfit's hatred of conservatives, amply illustrated here, in fact undercuts his position that he "doesn't care" what they think.

If he "didn't care," then why did he post this tripe?

So what if there's an 80-20 vote?  All that means is that the fringe left, the democrats and the RINOs all voted for their fellow tax-and-spend leftist.

That in no way means that Olson is qualified to do anything but CLAIM to be a Republican, much like Boger, come to think of it.

And don't EVEN think that *I* am "not qualified" merely because I happen to know enough to disagree with fake Republicans such as yourself.

And then, it ended with the leftist Amen Chorus jumping in:

Fellow PCO loser Hartson chipped in with her usual anti-conservative hatred/babble.

Then, of course, the Mad Texter that Boger despised so much when it suited him needed to shoot off his pie hole.

But they're just icing on Boger's playground cake.

So, yeah, Brent.  We get that you don't care that you lost your PCO election to a conservative.  And we get that you don't care what the 18th District had to say about your fellow RINO, because no one who disagrees with you about anything knows what they're talking about and, well, it doesn't matter, right?

And B, I've got to tell you: you're going to be missed as much as you're going to miss us.

The GOP Establishment is blowing it on messaging.

One of the many things I've noticed over the years is that while the GOP knows how to get power, unlike the democrats, it doesn't seem to have the first clue as to how to keep it.

The GOP typically runs away from a fight.  Our local GOP regime which is by far the most clueless I've ever seen, stayed absolutely silent when our property taxes exploded.

They stayed absolutely silent when local teachers engaged in extortion that is going to continue to force our property taxes to hit high orbit.

How did their silence embolden people to "Be Bold" and vote Republican?

As if.

As the Establishment at all levels manages to lose us seats in the House, seats in the Senate, seats at our local government and seats in our legislature, when will they GET a clue?

Remember back when Bill Clinton first ran?

The economy wasn't all that bad, but he talked it down to the ground because, apparently, as that MIT guy who built Obamacare told us, "Voters are stupid."

Their battle cry?

"It's the economy, stupid."

Well, if that were true, no Republican anywhere would lose.  Our economy is thermonuclear.  And how has the GOP taken advantage of that?

They haven't.

Politics

Internal GOP Poll: 'We've Lost the Messaging Battle' on Tax Cuts

Now, this story is from Bloomberg, so there's no telling if it's true.

But if it is.... what does that mean?

It means one of the BIGGEST weapons in the GOP arsenal, the economy, has been neutralized to "negatived."

And who is responsible for that?

We are looking at a serious ass-whoopin' in November if something doesn't change.

Our candidates are weak to nonexistent on the economy and in fact, the GOP of this state has caused us more damage than the democrats.

Is it any wonder GOP-held seats are at risk in this election?

Wednesday, September 19, 2018

C'mon Larry Hoff, you can do better than this.

As we all know, Larry Hoff is doing his best to lose the 18th District seat now held by Rep. Liz Pike.

And if the primary was any indication, he's doing it brilliantly.

He's desperate.  And that led to this nonsense:

Image may contain: 4 people, people smiling, people sitting
It was an honor to be joined by Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler on the campaign trail yesterday. More importantly, it was great to meet hard working voters, listen to what is most important to them, and learn what they expect from their elected representatives. #Hoff4House — with Samantha Adaire Moor Beeler and Jaime Herrera Beutler.
The problem?

I'm hearing this "hard working voter" that he's just met is apparently a worker on the Hoff campaign and a newly minted GOP PCO.

In the 18th District, setting this thing up with Herrera was likely not the smartest thing to do, given her somewhat less than conservative record.

Clearly, this is an act of desperation by Hoff's campaign who seems to believe that we were all born on a Saturday.... likely, LAST Saturday.

It's a pity he couldn't actually find a "hard working voter" that wasn't on his campaign involved as a volunteer... or so I'm told.

Tuesday, September 18, 2018

Rumor has it that the current local GOP regime is going to make an effort to keep some elected PCO's from being seated.

It's looking like the latest PCO elections may very well have shifted the political geography from the insanity currently running the show in the local party to something actually... Republican.

I'm hearing from multiple sources that an effort will be made to insure that at least some PCO's are excluded from their positions by a process designed to keep these elected PCOs from being seated.

The "why" of it is obvious and two-fold: first, those with their RINO clutches around the throat of the local GOP very much want to maintain their control over the apparatus.

Second, many of those who've been outed in a variety of ways want to use their position to engage in payback.  And their variety of it is designed to keep Republicans in various precincts from having representation in the local GOP.

There are, a great many things going on that are locally earth shattering as well.  Things are not going as well as they had hoped.

The current local GOP scene is roiled by miserable showings in the primary thanks to the current GOP regime, their incompetence, their lack of understanding of the political lay of the land and their own goal of furthering their own enlightened self-interests as they forget why they were put there (to elect REPUBLICANS) in favor of their own concerns over maintaining their version of "power."

Political organizations generally are judged on their outcomes.  The playground bullying of the current regime, the bogus lawsuit designed to silence the opposition, the lies, the drugs, the theft issues, the exaggerations, the fact that THIS local GOP organization spends geometrically more time, effort, energy and resources attacking other Republicans than they actually use against those they, allegedly, are here to do political battle with, namely, democrats.

No one, for example, can name where the local party has actually taken steps to go after democrat candidates.  And when did the local party come out and take positions on the issues most important to the people of Clark County?

The new bridge/loot rail rip off that alleged Republican legislators helped resurrect?

The massive increases in our property taxes?

The teacher extortion that will cost the taxpayers tens of millions of dollars in Clark County alone?

Silence.

Crickets.

The issue, you see, is going to be dressed up, I'm told, as a matter of party loyalty.

But its likely to be quite selective in it's application.

As I pointed out a few days ago, "party loyalty" means different things to different people:
Here locally, several PCO's for example, did not vote Republican in the last primary and, in fact, voted against the Republican by supporting Marc Boldt instead of Eileen Quiring for County Chair.
None of those past chairs have, to date, appeared to have endorsed Quiring now that Boldt has lost, either.  Does that mean they'll be voting for the democrat?
That's not the first time, of course; in the last election for county chair, five past county chairs voted against Republican candidate Rep. Liz Pike for that position... which included a Republican PCO setting up a fake Republican PAC to actually SUPPORT nonRepublican Boldt.
Three of those same former chairs endorsed Marc Boldt in this most recent primary as well.
And, in 2016, our own Congresswoman wrote in Speaker Paul Ryan for president.  Should anyone get upset if it was found that people wrote in Speaker Ryan for Congresswoman Herrera Buetler's seat in return?  Or some other Republican of note?
How could anyone in the GOP regime get mad if I, for example, wrote in Sen. Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers for the local congressional seat?
How could ANYONE in the GOP hierarchy declare such an action to be wrong in any way?
None of these people were held accountable for their actions so it's difficult to avoid the fact that what these people were doing is, well, setting the example.  How can anyone be upset if that example is followed?

Was any effort made to hold these people accountable?

Nope.

But there is no end to the effort, apparently, that may be extended to hold those objecting to the actions of these party leaders by holding the objectors accountable... by using such a false claim as an excuse to keep them from being seated.

The claim will be made that those PCOs who don't align themselves with the RINO Establishment in every way simply are not Republican.

Oh, they may dress it up somehow, but that will be the gist of it.

Will I be among those on their list?

Does my record as a Republican qualify me any more than, say, a Brent Boger, whose public dismissal of the Party when Marc Boldt was sanctioned (which he richly deserved) pretty much should have buried his past tenure as a party chair.... dutifully trumpeted by the local democrat daily, who used that to smack the GOP around to beat us up?  (The rag's many and false predictions of political blowback against the local party notwithstanding.)

Having served the GOP as a PCO, District Chair, County Delegate, State Delegate and Executive Director of the State GOP; the campaigns I worked on (GOP only) including Benton, Rivers, Mielke, Linda Smith, Bob Williams and the like over the last 31 years spared me from such a claim?

How about my membership in Clark County Republican women?

My guess is no.

When you have a bully in charge, facts have no place in the discussion.

I freely admit that I have, and will continue to, hold the GOP organization accountable.

I did it before this regime; I'll do it after this regime, thankfully, ends in a few months.  When I see a train wreck coming, I can either stand by silently and watch it happen, or speak out in an effort to stop it before it starts.

Sometimes, those in charge have not and will not like it.

But what about the many, many, MANY others in the party who have spoken out when the mood has struck them?

I freely admit that I will speak out both for... and against... candidates claiming the GOP label... who act like democrats or who vote like democrats.

I, of course, am not the only one.

How much, for example, did Larry Hoff lose the primary by?  In arguably one of the most Republican districts in the state?

But to use your position to exercise a political vendetta against those who oppose you?  To use that position because you've been outed as someone with a past... and current... record that would keep you from getting a job in a Wendy's flipping burgers, let alone becoming chair of a county GOP organization?

I believe in accountability of our politicians.  I believe in reminding people of the reality of the record of those we've elected who've lied, exaggerated, attacked and ignored their constituents.

Obviously, those in office do not want me to remind the voters of their actions.

It's not like, for example, I made up the GOP Chair's use of illegal drugs while he was chair; his past criminal record or his DUI's.  Does anyone claim that those observations are not factual?

I did not make up the fact that when Sen. Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers ran for the Senate, she pledged to oppose any effort at increasing the gas tax or tab fees... only to yoke the people of Clark County with a $700 MILLION tax bill.

Nor did I make up the fact that while "negotiating" this horrific budget that has cost the citizens of Clark County tens of millions of dollars to pay off the teachers, Rivers was actually hired by a DEMOCRAT campaign firm... causing all of her constituents to suffer massive property tax increases, many over a thousand dollars.

It's not like the promises bother Rivers and Sen. "Lyin'" Lynda Wilson made to the PCO's of the GOP in Clark County in the Summer of last year that our property taxes would actually go DOWN this year didn't happen, right?

It's not like Scott Weber didn't promise to fight to do away with his job as County Clerk as an elected position.  No one is coming up on the net and saying that I made this stuff up, are they?

It's not like when I pointed out that every Senator in Clark County voted to oppose legislative transparency that it came to me in a dream.  Nor is it like that when I pointed out that Rep. Vicki Kraft was the only House member in Clark County to vote FOR transparency that it was all a lie, was it?

It's not like when I point out that our Congresswoman, who trashed our President both during the campaign and after, who doesn't know if she'd vote to impeach him or not and who has had EIGHT YEARS to address our cross-river transportation issues and has accomplished NOTHING, is some sort of fantasy of mine,

A large segment of the Party hierarchy doesn't care about any of that.  If anyone of these folks robbed 7-11's as a hobby, they'd still back them.

So who cares if they lie?  ALL politicians lie, or so many RINOs told me... what's wrong with that?

One, a former party chair, reminded us that even then Governor Reagan lied about some sort of budget issue in the California Soviet.

To that, I replied, "so what?"

A lie is a lie.  That the source of the lie was Reagan doesn't excuse it or make it acceptable.  And, of course, when the source of the lies and betrayals are friends of yours, there's no end to the justifications you can provide.

Right, Brent?

I demand accountability for those who have so much control and impact over our lives.  I demand that Republicans vote more like Republicans and less like downtown democrats.  I demand that when they betray the party and the tenets of Republican in favor of the special interests over their constituency that they hear about and we're constantly reminded of it.

Somehow, it would seem that if I do not slavishly support anyone with an "R" after their name, that *I* am to be excluded.

When 5 former Party Chairs do the exact, same thing, and a big mouth PCO who set up a fake Republican PAC to support a non-Republican in 2015 and again THIS year... and when 6 former Party chairs engage in that SAME sort of activity this year... well, that's all different.

That's not a problem.  For the RINO clique running the show.

The question de jour:  When this Party, which failed to even bother to find candidates in the 49th or for county treasurer so the democrats there could run unopposed, loses seats around the county.... then what?

The current regime claims credit for the few positive outcomes we're experiencing while they blame anyone and anything else for the overwhelming negative.

Will they take credit for what looks like an upcoming miserable outcome this next November?  Will they blame those who oppose them internally for their outcomes externally?

Stay tuned.

And remember: VOTE REPUBLICAN.

Even if you don't really want to.

Husky football is in trouble: Jake was a LITTLE better... but not nearly good enough.

A week ago, having thought about it for a day and a half,  I wrote my first "Husky football is in trouble" post.

Well, I thought about it a little longer and I'm watching the Utah replay for the second time... and while Jake was not as bad as he was against North Dakota, he isn't markedly better, either.

Another stupid interception.  Missed passes that shouldn't have been missed.  Threw off his back foot, missed a wide open Samples for 20  with about 8:30 left in the 2nd quarter.

Every once in awhile, Jake was on.  He'd throw the occasional laser, and it was like he'd gone back in time.

But then...

At one point, Browning was bum-rushed on 3 straight downs and he managed to lose almost 30 yards, taking the Dawgs out of the red zone and, in fact, even taking them out of field goal range. 4th and 39, late in the 2nd quarter.

On that series, he looked confused and terrified.  He picked up a stupid intentional grounding call.

He threw that interception to a defensive end or tackle that was the size of an aircraft carrier.  How could he have missed him?

Yes, the offensive line is in the hurt locker.  But these decisions where Jake screwed up were HIS decisions.

Yesterday, Sunday, the articles started coming out.

"Myles Gaskin defends Jake Browning."

Myles Gaskin quick to defend Jake Browning after No. 10 Huskies’ 21-7 victory at Utah

Is this a good time to point out that if Jake were playing reasonably well, Miles wouldn't HAVE to "defend" Jake?

That, as a senior QB, Jake is playing like this is simply inexcusable.

Jake has thrown only 4 TD passes this season.

4.  In 3 games.

Which matches up very nicely with the 4 interceptions he's also thrown.

Is ANY other QB in the PAC12 doing this badly?

Not and starting they're not.

Sit him, coach.  He doesn't have "it" any more.  Give Jake2 a shot.

What's the worst he could do?  Throw interceptions?

Why President Trump has to stick with Kavanaugh

As I posited back in July (and actually, many times before that) because of GOP Establishment weakness, they handed the left a golden rod they can use to beat the hell out of any GOP candidate or nominee for anything... and watch us cave.

The irony of this is that the GOP can't politically win on this issue.

In fact, no matter what we do, the left is going to beat the hell out of us anyway.

Why?

Because every time THEY pull out the sexual impropriety scam card, the Establishment GOP pees their pants and dutifully does whatever the left tells them to do... no matter what.

Instead of counter-punching and coming back over the top, which is what they MUST do here.

There are two issues right there on the table, available to be picked up and wrapped around the skulls of these same sniveling democrats in the Senate who are in a full on stall pattern because Mitch McConnell allows them to be.

Issue 1:  Rep. Keith Ellison.

Allegations of the variety this fringe-left scumbag is pulling out have only one purpose and truth is nowhere in that equation.

This allegation is made up of whole cloth and it is designed to accomplish the end of the Kavanaugh nomination while simultaneously attempting to splatter the entirety of the GOP as we head into the midterm.  It's a typical leftist lie wrapped in an equally typical leftist fals4ehood, entirely political in nature, made by someone who's own political background could... and would... never withstand scrutiny, done entirely to stall the nomination and make the President look bad by costing him a court nomination.

Keep Kavanaugh or dump him, the willing slime in the media will treat this scam the exact same way.

NO MATTER WHAT, the splatter part is GOING TO HAPPEN ANYWAY.

In military terms, if you know you're going to die holding that hill, you might as well take as many of these scum with you as possible before you go.

The counter?

No one in the GOP should even begin to discuss this matter without beating the hell out of Ellison over the FAR more credible allegations against him by women who claim he has assaulted them.

Minnesota Republicans know what to do and, apparently, are doing it.  That needs to expand to ANY Republican asked about Kavanaugh.

THOSE allegations against Ellison are not almost 4 decades old, were not made by a confirmed leftist with a bone to pick with the Kavanaugh family and who would slit their own wrists before allowing President Trump to fill another Supreme Court vacancy.

If the allegations against Ellison were made against any Republican of any stature, we'd never hear the end of it.

Well, the reality is that the democrats, who continue to support that low life, SHOULD be the ones who never hear the end of it.

So, how come they haven't been hearing it?

Why haven't the same RINOs expressing "concern" over Judge Kavanaugh be expressing concern over Ellison?

HHHhhhmmmmm?

Number 2: 200+ members of Congress who used taxpayer dollars to pay off staffers and other women as a result of THEIR impropriety.

EVERY member of Congress in the GOP (You listening, Herrera?) should be DEMANDING the release of the names of those who stole the taxpayer dollars used to keep these women quiet.

Where are they?

Our esteemed Congresswoman hasn't had any problem shooting off her mouth to trash our President.  How come she's not throwing a fit over both Ellison and the unnamed 200+ in Congress that apparently found it impossible to keep their hands to themselves and their mouths shut when it came to impropriety with women?

In fact, where is Carolyn Long in all of this?  You hearing anything out of her pie hole on what the left allows their own to get away with?

No?

Why not?

So, here's the thing: No matter what the President does, he and our GOP are GOING to get hammered.

Well, we might as well get hammered with our guy sitting on the bench as opposed to allowing what appear to be MORE bogus allegations to derail another badly needed Republican from holding office; this time, the Supreme Court.

And as I have stated during the Judge Roy Moore matter, if they got away with that, there would be no end to who they would use this idiocy against because the morons running the GOP simply don't know what to do or how to react when confronted with these lies and fake allegations which are entirely politically motivated.

Don't hold your breath, however.  These things are so obvious a blind squirrel could see it in a minute.

If we were GOING to do it?

We WOULD be doing it.

And we're not.

Additional allegations are inevitable, because the democrats have a playbook that says they keep running this play and others like it until enough GOP RINOs grow a spine and figure out how to stop it

As if.

Good Luck, your Honor.  With friends like these?

You're gonna need it.

When the leftist rag loves you, they love you.

I was sent a copy of the screed passing as the column by Jayne yesterday.

It was the usual mixture of arrogance, superiority, and revisionist history along with their run of the mill disregard for the expressed will of the people of this county.

Yeah, yeah, it was the usual "screw what the people want, ram the CRC down their throats" idiocy of the downtown mafia.

And, as always, our resident local leftist mouthpiece for the downtown mafia always takes a shot... rather stupidly, as it turns out... at the politicians who actually fought to implement the will of the people as expressed at the polls, the democratian's best efforts notwithstanding.

Well, ALMOST all of the politicians... all save one.... but I'll get to that in a minute.
You all remember, don't you?

The advisory vote held on the CRC.... that LOST IN EVERY PRECINCT IN CLARK COUNTY, save for the five or so that surrounded the north end of the I-5 bridge, 223 precincts out of 228.... made it clear that the CRC is not what the people of this county want.

There has been nothing to indicate that anything has changed in that regard.  And now, with Oregon's tolling fetish on full display, what Jayne and his ilk want is for us to pay tolls for an I-5 bridge replacement with loot rail; which, by itself, is unneeded, unwanted an unaffordable.... and THEN pay Oregon's extortion to Clark County residents on top of that.

Of course, what the people of this county want is a meaningless exercise to powers that be.  Their abuse of those who question them and their aims and motivations is the stuff of legend.

Even now, their hatred of Former County Councilor David Madore, Sen. Don Benton and Rep. Liz Pike is on full display.

And what crimes are these three "guilty" of?

1.  They're guilty of opposing the democratian's agenda.

That gets you a life sentence if you stay that way.

2.  They're guilty of representing the people of their district, who did not want the idiocy of the democratian's CRC scam.

Again, a life sentence unless you change your ways.

But what name is missing from their hatred list?

Who have they left off their list of infamy?

Why, Sen. Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers.

Rivers, who used to be a Republican even before the democrat campaign firm, Strategies 360 hired her while she was negotiating to sell us out to the WEA which led to massive property tax increases and this most recent wave of teacher strikes, was also instrumental in killing the CRC Scam.

So, why didn't Jayne throw a punch her way?

Rivers is just as guilty of killing the CRC as these other 3... and in fact, she USED to be called the "Bridge Killer."

But for WHATEVER the reason, the rag never seems to include her in the group they hate for standing up for the people like she used to do.... before she hung $700 million on us in gas tax and tab fee increases after pledging to oppose both in order to get elected... before she caused our property taxes statewide to explode for $6 billion or so.... unlike the politicians who actually represent the PEOPLE instead of the special interests the rag speaks for.

No, Rivers seems to get a complete pass for her part in killing their dream.

Odd, isn't it?  Why do you suppose that might be?

Not that Lefty Lou ever took much of a shot at her.  Because, after all: when they like you?

They like you.  And conservatives are the one's reserved for the democratian's hatred.
It's not that much different than their love affair with Marc Boldt.

Back when Marc actually WAS a conservative and a Republican (How does one even begin to describe what he is now, politically?) he hammered on Tommy Koenninger's favorite nail, the Columbia River Gorge Commission... a nasty little outfit that seemed to view the Constitution of the United States as their own personal roll of toilet paper when it comes to administering the Scenic Area.

The result?  Koenninger threw a hissy fit at Boldt and wrote his now infamous "Three nuts and a Boldt" column, wherein he demanded, with stupidity equal to Jayne at the time, that Boldt resign his position in the House of Representatives before the people threw him out.

Well, as long as the people believed Boldt to be a Republican, he just kept on winning, the democratian's best efforts notwithstanding.

That said, now, they hardly treat Boldt the same way they do other conservatives, do they?

So, yeah, Jayne's screed and slavish devotion to the hated and despised CRC Scam is not particularly surprising.  And, as the rag continues to attack anyone who stands in their way, will of the people notwithstanding; as they refuse to endorse anyone opposed to their scheme, one has to wonder:

If the rag is using support of their CRC Scam as their litmus test to endorse candidates... even more than their leftist bent... then are you, Dear Voter?

Do YOU know where the candidates you support are on the CRC Scam?

Does the idea of paying $2000 a year in tolls (to begin with) to cross a bridge (That you're now paying for the privilege to sit on) appeal to you... then to have the privilege of paying Oregon tolls on top of that?

Where are your candidates on that issue?

Do you know?

If not, why not?

Get to work, voters... and remember: VOTE Republican!

(Even if you don't want to.)

There's military gear such as backpacks, sleeping bags, clothes and the like available.

Make sure you bring your VA identification or a copy of your DD214 with other ID to prove your veterans' status.

OK, folks, in the next election, remember to vote GOP.... no matter how badly you might not want to.

Look, I get it.  It's hard to vote Republican sometimes when those running are as Republican as my Spaniel.

Still, party loyalty can be an important element of any kind of political organization.

Here locally, several PCO's for example, did not vote Republican in the last primary and, in fact, voted against the Republican by supporting Marc Boldt instead of Eileen Quiring.

Which gave me an idea that, well, I'm going to pass on to all of you:

If you cannot stomach the Republican candidate running for the offices you're voting on, instead of voting for the democrat, all you have to do is write in a Republican.

That way, you can maintain your party loyalty better than at least 5 former party chairs whose endorsement of Marc Boldt PROVES they have no party loyalty, along with certain other PCO's (Crain) and others who dumped the party whenever they felt like it.

No one did or said anything about that, of course.  Because certain people who can't stand conservatives get a pass in the current regime.

So, remember: if you are a Republican, make sure you vote Republican.

Do it proudly.  ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS vote Republican.  Just because several past Chairs set an example to be ashamed of by dumping the Party when THEY felt like it, doesn't mean you have to follow THEIR example, now does it?

After all, we wouldn't want anyone in party leadership to lecture anyone because they may have done the exact same thing... all while giving these past chairs and fake Republican PAC scammers a pass.... would we?

As anyone knew, the court ordered the teachers back to work. Will the Battle Ground teachers continue to break the law?

So, I happen to be one of those who are despising local teachers more and more because of their effort to extort a completely undeserved pay raise.

Now, the result of their extortion is that they're illegally engaging in a strike action, which is illegal under state law.

So ruled Judge Scott Collier.

Now, the teachers, having proven they don't give a damn about the children or their families, many of whom are suffering financial hardship of their own due to unexpected and unaffordable expense of day care because these thugs are holding an academic gun to the heads of the school district, will, of course, whine... and bitch... and moan... about how tough they've got it... how they'll starve and their kids will die and all of the other lies these people can... and have... make up.

The problem?

I and many, many others simply don't care how bad teachers claim to have it for their massive salaries they get for their 180 day work year and their ridiculously abysmal academic outcomes.  (Yesterday, the Seattle Times printed the results of last year's testing and wouldn't you know it?  High School sophomores just BARELY exceed a STUNNINGLY low 40% being at grade level.  Does that sound like the work of people who think they deserve a massive and unjustifiable raise?)

In this instance, Judge Scott Collier (who had worked for me on a case before putting on those robes) nailed the teachers and their union.

If he indicated what would happen to these thugs when they blew him off as I expect they will, the article did not mention it.

They've been ordered to be back to work on Monday.

When they ignore him, I seriously hope that by COB Monday, every one of the union leadership is arrested and locked up... until such time as the thugs actually DO go back to work.

And then, starting Tuesday, I hope that Judge Collier proceeds to work his way through the alphabet beginning with the letter "A" and lock up every teacher that refuses to work.

It's time these thugs were taught a lesson.  And in the future, the SECOND any of these punks even utter the WORD "strike," the first thing a school district should do is get in front of a judge to have the union understand that the second the union goes on strike, the leadership of the union will be locked up, and the teachers who refuse to work will be locked up with them.

But that's just me.

The cowardice of local elected officials and the local GOP on teacher extortion: silence in the face of miserable academic outcomes.

Count on local elected officials to disappear when the WEA is at play.

THE biggest local political issue of the year outside of Rivers' Exploding Property Tax Show, and where are our elected leaders?

Most are silent.  Particularly two of those most responsible for this hideous situation, Sen. Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers and Sen. "Lyin'" Linda Wilson.

Rivers, of course, is the fake Republican who was hired by a democrat campaign firm (Strategies 360) while in the midst of bending us over (negotiating) during the 2017 legislative session when the GOP still controlled the Senate.

Wilson, for her part, lied to the people when she stated: "I just want you to know that everyone in Clark County will be receiving a property tax that's going down."

How'd that work out for us?

So, yes, Rivers and Wilson were out front in screwing us.... badly.... for millions of dollars to fill the hated Washington Education Association union's coffers.

So, during the strikes they enabled.... where were these people?  It's not like they didn't know this was going to happen:  The Seattle Times laid it all out on September 1.
Washington lawmakers knew school-contract chaos was coming — and not just in Seattle
Over the weekend, a teacher's strike was avoided in Seattle. But the threat of work stoppages continues elsewhere in Washington — and that’s no surprise to lawmakers.
Silence.  Crickets.

You'd THINK they'd be PROUD of their accomplishments and what they enabled the teacher's to do to us.

As for the local GOP, things looked bleak for several months, given the out-of-control regime of Gellatly and his sycophants.

Oddly for the chair, who has no problem running to the local media to trash conservatives and to shift blame to everyone else for his multitude of failures as party chair, there appears to be a black hole silence from the party on the current round of teacher extortion.

Given our exploding property taxes, most of which went to pay for these prima donnas, you'd THINK the local GOP would have been out front in the effort to educate the taxpaying voters as to the width and breadth of this massive extortion by the teacher class as they held and hold their academic guns to the taxpayer's heads by abandoning the children and their families that depend on them... for OUTRAGEOUS salary demands that are entirely both unsustainable and inexcusable.

Just today, the Times also showed the miserable academic outcomes these people who want to get paid more than doctors or lawyers for their part time, 183 day or so per year job.

Ready?

This is what we've wasted our billions on.

This is what these teacher scum ignore as they demand ever larger amounts of our money.

This sort of thing could be used effectively to beat the WEA and their acolytes to political DEATH.

But instead, we're exhorted, through a horrific waste of money, to "Be Bold."

And how has that worked out for us?

Courage and integrity is rarely in the political lexicon.  For far too many of our local elected government officials generally and the local GOP particularly, it simply doesn't exist.

The outcomes posted by the Seattle Times make it clear that these thieves should not only NOT be getting raises, they should be giving money BACK in shame at what they charge NOW.

And the GOP, both locally and at the state level, sits quietly by... silent in the face of these efforts to rape the taxpayers of this county.

What's the worst that could happen?  We get clobbered at the polls?

Well, guess what's going to happen REGARDLESS.

Why are we not surprised?

Women in the Infantry? What could go wrong?

For years, I've been pointing out that, sadly, there is no place for women in ground combat.

Given that it seems I am unable to actually find any evidence that female "infantrypeople" have actually deployed into a combat situation, the military may have actually made the same decision, and all of this "women in the infantry" is all a kabuki dance to fool the masses.

But putting women together with men in ground combat units cannot help but degrade combat capabilities and negatively impact discipline.

And in this instance, the rumored fraternization of the very FIRST Marine female to become an "Infantryperson" is now confirmed and she's getting kicked out of the Marines for her inability to keep her clothes on.

And no, this isn't what you would expect... although much of that has happened as well.

This isn't the case of a rough, tough, senior male NCO taking advantage of a precious young female private.

On the contrary, this is a case of a rough, tough FEMALE NCO having a relationship with a MALE subordinate.

It does, in fact, work both ways… from pregnant Ranger students to, in fact, senior NCO's using their positions... or allowing their positions to be used, by junior ranking females looking for an advantage.

As time goes on, more and more we're seeing "what can go wrong."  Now, it's only a matter of how much blood is going to be spilled as a result of this insanity.

Trailblazing female who became infantry Marine is getting kicked out for fraternization

This is just one of the many signs of impending disaster.

A disaster that we'll see with our own eyes as soon as female infantry deploys... if they're ever allowed to deploy into combat.
