(FULL DISCLOSURE: I freely admit that I am totally opposed to Marc Boldt's election this time, just as I was last time, since he's completely sold out to the left; forgotten/ignored GOP principles, supports the CRC scam in it's entirety and wants to hang tolls around our neck for the next several decades that would destroy a great deal of small business in Clark County as a result.
NO candidate or campaign or anyone involved or in any way concerned with any candidate or campaign was aware of or approved or had input into this post.
Further, Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house, 1994 - 2000.)
When it comes to the election for county chair, Boldt supporters are as willing to lie as Boldt himself.
Of course, that particular fish does rot from the head down, so it is understandable.
But the biggest lie dejour was from some Boldt shill who made the false claim in the Reflector that:
Why do Boldt supporters have to lie about that?
And this remark from the same writer:
Boldt was effectively expelled from the GOP back in 2011. The left and the local democrats/daily newspaper jumped for joy, claiming it was a huge mistake that would cost the now dominant local GOP (12 of 15 legislators from Clark County are now Republican, for example) dearly when Boldt was kicked out because while he was a commissioner, on the issues most important to the people of this county, he voted like he and Steve Stuart were separated at birth, Boldt, for example, rabidly supported the CRC/Light Rail/Toll project, because he supported raising our property taxes for 6 straight years and voted to take our guns away from us in the event of a county or state declared emergency.
Let us not also forget that Boldt made a concerted effort to bring the now hated-by-him local GOP on board with his abortive effort to get their endorsement last August... after giving the PCO's a speech (Yes, I know he's a GOP PCO; but I also know he has failed to attend any GOP function or meeting, save for the one he spoke at last August, in the 3 years he's had the job) where he claimed he could do a better job as a nonpartisan, meaning he was again rejecting the GOP, and that it's somehow "easier not to have a letter after your name." I wonder if Shane Gardner, who Boldt also endorsed and who lost the Sheriff's election as a non-partisan, would agree?
After the dual debacle of his disastrous tenure as a commissioner and his utterly clueless attempt to get GOP support when he felt like he needed it, it's easy to see why the GOP is "punishing" Boldt: it's because he's as Republican as my Spaniels. And it's even easier to see why the local GOP mounted this write-in campaign to make an effort to give Republicans a voice in running the government of this county from the seat of the Chair.
Thanks for asking and allowing me to help end your "speculation."
They certainly aren't attacking her on her record. Why is that?
Boldt supporters only have two things to snivel about: they hate the fact that Boldt is now at risk from a Republican Candidate as a write in... and the second thing is lies like this.
The Marc Boldt I worked for, now long gone, wouldn't dream of countenancing this kind of dishonesty and misdirection like his coordinating with the PAC that's modified his campaign signs.
What a shame that Boldt, my own brother-in-law and formerly such a hard-corps Christian, has sunk so low as to allow this to happen in his name.

Here are my words coming from Liz’s mouth: I have stuck to my original words that I will not abandon my constituents as state representative for a higher paying job. But if elected, I will draw both salaries as Don Benton (R) has done.Pike has made it clear that when she wins this election, she will resign from the House.
Why do Boldt supporters have to lie about that?
And this remark from the same writer:
"One is only left to speculate why the R’s wish to punish Marc Boldt, a former red dog."Let me help you with that... though I do find it hard to believe that a sharp knife like Kemper doesn't already know.
