There's an increasingly major element of tragedy that is the comedy in the White House... now that Paterson blames the empty suit for his troubles.
Unforced errors that would make even the newest beginning tennis player blush and hide their heads in shame. An inability to avoid the appearance of incompetence and short-sightedness that is going to cost, if it isn't already costing us, major amounts of spilled blood.
We all know the idiocy that has marked the tenure of the empty-suited, anti-American racist bigot occupying the White House; it would serve no purpose to rehash those elements of a failed presidency here.
So when we look at the stupidity of the White House and Paterson, all we can do is shake our collective heads at the morons running this country and believe we, as a Nation, can actually survive the empty suit's hopefully impeachment-shortened tenure.
The set up? Paterson, something of a major-league adulterer himself, took over for a dumb ass named Eliott Spitzer, who felt the only way he could get laid was to pay for it, in amounts that simply boggle the mind.
The problem is that Paterson has been an abysmal disaster as governor, not unlike most leftists who manage to scam the job.
That he was/is a disaster isn't a particularly difficult problem for the empty suit. The problem is that, unlike our half white president, Governor Paterson is all black... and vision impaired to boot.
Now, any fringe-left scum will tell you that no thinking, sentient being could POSSIBLY disagree with the empty suit's program of turning this country into a Marxist, Socialist Utopia unless they are possessed by the demon racism.
It's an automatic, built in, fall back possession for almost every leftist politician: explain and mute the opposition by running around, screaming, "RACIST!!!!"
It's a crock, of course. But playing the racism card knocks the opposition off message and plays to white guilt.
So... how are we to react to the Empty Suits's interference in New York politics? It's difficult to claim racism under the circumstance. Given the president's half-African, half Caucasian bloodline and Gov. Paterson's black genetic make up, can either party claim "racism?" Can their surrogates, like Obama's Winged Monkeys?
Of course not. Thus the moronic handling of this relatively simple matter again brings to light the rampant stupidity at play here... the frightening incompetence again displayed by the ACORN-in-Chief.
Paterson's insistence on running is a huge help to the GOP. Leftist efforts to clear the field for Cuomo, now exposed as most of their amateurish crap eventually sees the light of day will hurt them with key constituencies and provide the possibilities for major inroads by Giuliani with both minorities and a frequently overlooked group that can still vote in large numbers: those challenged with physical issues can be exploited for purposes of charging, this time accurately, discrimination by those who would sweep Paterson out of the way in the interests of political expediency.
And if those running this show weren't complete idiots, they'd already know that, and this whole sorry episode could have been avoided.

Comparisons between Tim "The Liar" Leavitt and Barack "The Empty Suit" Obama. Could a teleprompter be next?

The first one is obvious. They agree on everything, which is why the The Liar was an early endorser of The Empty Suit. I'm sure the fringe-right whack jobs with their situational ethics who signed on to a campaign run by local democrats (including the county democrat chair) are thrilled!
And how well THAT vision has worked! What a spectacular failure The Empty Suit has been, out-Cartering even the most hopeless moron to ever sit in the White House!
The second one is equally obvious. Both The Liar and The Empty Suit are consummate liars.
The list of Obama's outright lies dwarfs even his massive and false exaggerations.
With The Liar, the moment he started lying about his support of tolling the bridges (and he does support tolling BOTH of the bridges) as a way to replace (no matter how unnecessarily) the I-5 Bridge so he and his fellow henchmen can bring loot rail into the first few feet of Vancouver; he totally became Obama's shadow.
And his last second, late surprise package of trying to force everyone alive in a 3 county area to pay for a bridge and light rail we don't need by raising ALL of our property taxes.... why, that was the master stroke! It's the same thing as the moron in the White House scamming us all in health care!
The only thing missing from the package, besides a Klingon princess wife, is a teleprompter or two.
But The Liar couldn't be THAT stupid, could he? I mean, then I'd change his dwarfish little name to TelePrompter Timmy... and wouldn't THAT be rich?

The Jaime Herrera FAQ
.
I've been hearing, quite indirectly, that it is simply beyond understanding why I so stridently oppose Ridgefield Barbie.
So, for those of you wondering, I thought I'd take a minute or two to explain it. How it happened... and how events influenced me to do all I can to acquaint anyone interested with our local version of the empty suit that is Obama, albeit at a somewhat more local level.
1. So, what's the problem?
It's simple, really. Jaime Herrera is neither qualified by experience, education or temperament to serve anything but coffee in the House of Representatives.
2. OK.... how do you figure?
What has she done to EARN election to Congress?
Absolutely nothing. Never owned a home, until, figuratively speaking, about ten minutes ago. Never ran a business. Never employed anyone. Never worked in the private sector. She's had about 60 seconds (well, 3 legislative sessions) of experience. In fact, for 11 of the last 13 years, she hasn't even lived here.
I was stunned that this girl, who had accomplished absolutely nothing worthy of appointment, was the beneficiary of a corrupt process at the behest of Cathy McMorris Rogers to secure that appointment through the efforts of a local county commissioner.
Yes, I know she was re-elected. And by a large percentage.
But these same people re-elected others just because they claimed to be a "R's" and look what that's got us.
She lies; she exaggerates; she claims to be a "friend to organized labor" (how REPUBLICAN of her) she's even lied about her job title.
3. Is that all? I mean, doesn't that describe a lot of members of Congress?
Actually, no. Most Members of Congress actually earn it.
For example, let's take a look at Cathy McMorris Rogers record.
Fascinating.
Let's compare that to Ridgefield Barbie's:
On the other hand, we have Ridgefield Barbie. A career intern and minor staffer for McMorris, there's no hint of either accomplishment OR achievement. No graduate degree. No private sector experience. No success as a legislator... and in fact, the House minority leader today, Rep. Richard DeBolt, refuses to endorse her.
So, what does that all mean?
To me, when combined with her absence from the area for more than 10 years, it means she's no more qualified to represent this area in Congress than she is to engage in brain surgery.
4. So, how is it that she seems to have pulled all this off? She must have SOMETHING on the ball.
My pet Cavalier Spaniel could have picked up the appointment and re-election with all the grease Herrera had.
NONE of this happened because of anything she did or made happen. In short, her ONLY qualification was in the eyes of McMorris, and that was her slavish loyalty to, well, McMorris.
Had Herrera not poured coffee for McMorris as a low-level staffer; had she not sworn complete allegiance to McMorris, then we never would have heard of her.
5. So, why is McMorris doing all this?
Politics and nature both abhor a vacuum.
As it is right now, there is no major player of any stature on the National political scene from Washington State.
Doc Hastings seems to have gone as far as he's willing to go. He seems to have reached the pinnacle of his political desires.
Cathy, on the other hand, I believe, has visions of if not achieving the Presidency, certainly achieving the level of following in the now quasi-legendary footsteps of Jennifer Dunn.
Unlikely to engage in the personal peccadilloes that kept Dunn from rising to the very top; McMorris, I again believe, wants to become President of the United States.
Now, I freely admit that these are just my conclusions, and your mileage may vary.
But at the end of the day, McMorris is spending an incredible amount of time, energy and effort screwing around here, on the other side of the state.
There can only be so many reasons for her interference in local politics. It's as if she feels that those of us actually inside the district can't make a decision for ourselves without her efforts, aided and abetted by hacks like Slade, to ram this empty suit down our throats.
6. So, what's with the "empty suit" gag?
With the election of Obama, haven't we suffered enough by electing a pretty face with vapid space between its ears?
The 3rd Congressional District needs someone who won't sell us out the way Herrera sold us out by co-sponsoring and voting for SHB 1329, an SEIU bill to force child care workers into unions; a horrific idea that will cost those who can least afford it the most and result in one of two outcomes, or maybe both: dramatically higher costs passed along to the consumer and/or dramatically higher taxpayer-paid subsidies for low-income day care, paid for by jacking up our taxes even higher.
And the incalculable stupidity of bailing on session a few days before it ends to Coakley special interest money at the trough set up by McMorris and Slade. She didn't have the sense to wait until session was over?
What kind of a moron would hand an issue to her opponents... both R AND d?
Not only is Herrera an empty suit, she's a DANGEROUS empty suit, who has no vision or ability to look at anything farther down the road then one of those meals she spent $500 over a 3 day period to eat.

No, not by a long shot.
Herrera and her keepers have drawn around them some of the worst, most low-life, scummy support I've ever witnessed in my 22 years of active politics, and 10 years of party politics and consulting.
Not all of them are, in fact, scum. But those who focus on people instead of issues certainly come under that heading... so if the shoe fits, wear it.
"Dual endorsements" from people lacking integrity to keep their word to ONE candidate.
Efforts made to peel off major figures from other candidates.
Supporters engaging in character assassination and down right lies in support of this manikin.
And you can tell a lot about a candidate by the people supporting them. And in this case, they seem to be the politically ignorant and cowardly.
If you have to lie in support of a candidate, you probably shouldn't support them. And the response to the Castillo robo call, which was accurate and factual in every detail, tends to show that those supporting this cardboard cut out of a candidate have lost any shred of integrity or dignity.
Just like the candidate they support.
8. So, if Herrera is elected... what are you going to do?
Use my First Amendment rights to politically pound her like a drum, thus my reason for setting up JaimeHerreraWatch.blogspot.com .
I will be the opposition to her as long as she's in politics... which, with any luck at all, won't be much beyond this November.
But my blog isn't going anywhere. And those who come here to read it from around the country will know anything and everything I can find so they remain informed about this misbegotten, horrific effort to corrupt our election at the behest of interests that don';t live here, but who have no trouble whatsoever telling us how to vote, what to think, and how to think it.
9. What if you're wrong about any of this?
Any time, any one or any group believes I am wrong, they certainly have the privilege of the blog to contact me, point out any inaccuracy, PROVIDE EVIDENCE of said inaccuracy, and I will publicly acknowledge my error and allow those making the allegation an entire post without edit or comment from me.
Now, in the past, I've been approached and told that I was in error about a post; specifically that I was wrong about the massive waste of taxpayer dollars when Jaime Herrera, reminiscent of the politically late and unlamented Stacy Sellers, burned her way through almost 500 taxpayer dollars for meals on a 3 day boondoggle trip to Spokane from DC and back... a feat I simply couldn't duplicate and believe me, I CAN eat.
I told her to email me the evidence in question and, I would, you guessed it, publicly withdraw my post and apologize for it.
That was several weeks ago... and I'm still waiting for the evidence in question.
In closing, that offer still stands. Those of you supporting Herrera who believe I'm wrong about any of this, feel free to contact me and I'll address that concern.
Meanwhile, thanks for stopping by. We have a long way to go until election, and a lot can happen in that time.

Palin Derangement Syndrome has replaced BDS on the left.

I'm not a huge Palin fan. Her candidacy was mishandled by the McCain campaign on so many levels... her messages seem to me to be confused and scattered; she remains silent on those things she should be hammering away on... and fails to take advantage of the opportunities the empty suit is punching out like movie tickets.
That having been said, the left has gone absolutely insane over her. Their hatred of Palin is comical. Their hypocrisy, reeking. No one in her family is immune from their attack. They beat on her like a rented mule in ways that if the right were to utilize would bring howls of protests from the leftist leg-humping media that acts as an extension of the White House press secretary's office.
The moronic, idiotic nature of this issue shows how desperate the left is to hate. It also shows how much of a threat the left views Palin to be.
Years ago, I worked on Linda Smith's Congressional Campaign as a volunteer. The Columbian was doing their usual job of shilling for the leftist, Jolene "The Winds of Hate Have Swept the Land" Unsoeld. I expressed some concerns about that... and Smith look around the room and said something to the effect of "all that matters is that they spell your name right."
Leftists generally can't help their hatred. They preach diversity, but it's limited to color, gender and sexual proclivity. Deviate from the line, and you're subject to savage attacks. (Google "Baird" and "Iraq.")
But what they fail to realize is that the only reason Palin is in the public eye and mind now is entirely due to the leftists that want her to disappear the most.
Every attack... every moronic, imbecilic law suit or ethics complaint... every asinine joke like that simpleton Letterman's attack on her middle school daughter... anything like that KEEPS Palin in the place where the leftists don't want her.
But hatred is a drug, as addictive as crack. And the leftist base grew to depend on getting their hatred fix with GW Bush as president because he (Thankfully) beat a couple of lightweights who would have been almost as ruinous to this country as the paper-thin empty suit running the show now.
Leftists are generally self-trained to hate. And they now NEED someone to hate... someone to replace Bush.
Palin.
She's a natural. She's everything the left despises. She's a woman who ran on her record... not on her gynecological make up.
And they hate her with a passion. But their hatred may ultimately elevate her to the top.
The empty suit's programs are failing; he's a complete idiot in foreign policy, he's buried under hundreds of billions of dollars in debt... and his polls are finally, inexorably, heading down as he discovers that being half-black and having the media in your pocket will only get you so far for so long.
Presuming he's not impeached or arrested before the end of his term, Obama will not be able to either run away from his abysmal record nor skate on glittering generalities. By 2012, the truth that he is will be out... and he'll have a lot of 'splainin' to do.
This isn't rocket science. To the leftists reading this, by all means... keep beating on this woman.

The Jaime Herrera FAQ, Ver 1.1

In keeping with my policy of correction, the following change is made.
I've been hearing, quite indirectly, that it is simply beyond understanding why I so stridently oppose Ridgefield Barbie.
So, for those of you wondering, I thought I'd take a minute or two to explain it. How it happened... and how events influenced me to do all I can to acquaint anyone interested with our local version of the empty suit that is Obama, albeit at a somewhat more local level.
1. So, what's the problem?
It's simple, really. Jaime Herrera is neither qualified by experience, education or temperament to serve anything but coffee in the House of Representatives.
2. OK.... how do you figure?
What has she done to EARN election to Congress?
Absolutely nothing. Never owned a home, until, figuratively speaking, about ten minutes ago.
(This is changed. Lew Waters points out in the comments that Herrera brags about renting:
Never ran a business. Never employed anyone. Never worked in the private sector. She's had about 60 seconds (well, 3 legislative sessions) of experience. In fact, for 11 of the last 13 years, she hasn't even lived here.
I was stunned that this girl, who had accomplished absolutely nothing worthy of appointment, was the beneficiary of a corrupt process at the behest of Cathy McMorris Rogers to secure that appointment through the efforts of a local county commissioner.
Yes, I know she was re-elected. And by a large percentage.
But these same people re-elected others just because they claimed to be a "R's" and look what that's got us.
She lies; she exaggerates; she claims to be a "friend to organized labor" (how REPUBLICAN of her) she's even lied about her job title.
3. Is that all? I mean, doesn't that describe a lot of members of Congress?
Actually, no. Most Members of Congress actually earn it.
For example, let's take a look at Cathy McMorris Rogers record.
Fascinating.
Let's compare that to Ridgefield Barbie's:
On the other hand, we have Ridgefield Barbie. A career intern and minor staffer for McMorris, there's no hint of either accomplishment OR achievement. No graduate degree. No private sector experience. No success as a legislator... and in fact, the House minority leader today, Rep. Richard DeBolt, refuses to endorse her.
So, what does that all mean?
To me, when combined with her absence from the area for more than 10 years, it means she's no more qualified to represent this area in Congress than she is to engage in brain surgery.
4. So, how is it that she seems to have pulled all this off? She must have SOMETHING on the ball.
My pet Cavalier Spaniel could have picked up the appointment and re-election with all the grease Herrera had.
NONE of this happened because of anything she did or made happen. In short, her ONLY qualification was in the eyes of McMorris, and that was her slavish loyalty to, well, McMorris.
Had Herrera not poured coffee for McMorris as a low-level staffer; had she not sworn complete allegiance to McMorris, then we never would have heard of her.
5. So, why is McMorris doing all this?
Politics and nature both abhor a vacuum.
As it is right now, there is no major player of any stature on the National political scene from Washington State.
Doc Hastings seems to have gone as far as he's willing to go. He seems to have reached the pinnacle of his political desires.
Cathy, on the other hand, I believe, has visions of if not achieving the Presidency, certainly achieving the level of following in the now quasi-legendary footsteps of Jennifer Dunn.
Unlikely to engage in the personal peccadilloes that kept Dunn from rising to the very top; McMorris, I again believe, wants to become President of the United States.
Now, I freely admit that these are just my conclusions, and your mileage may vary.
But at the end of the day, McMorris is spending an incredible amount of time, energy and effort screwing around here, on the other side of the state.
There can only be so many reasons for her interference in local politics. It's as if she feels that those of us actually inside the district can't make a decision for ourselves without her efforts, aided and abetted by hacks like Slade, to ram this empty suit down our throats.
6. So, what's with the "empty suit" gag?
With the election of Obama, haven't we suffered enough by electing a pretty face with vapid space between its ears?
The 3rd Congressional District needs someone who won't sell us out the way Herrera sold us out by co-sponsoring and voting for SHB 1329, an SEIU bill to force child care workers into unions; a horrific idea that will cost those who can least afford it the most and result in one of two outcomes, or maybe both: dramatically higher costs passed along to the consumer and/or dramatically higher taxpayer-paid subsidies for low-income day care, paid for by jacking up our taxes even higher.
And the incalculable stupidity of bailing on session a few days before it ends to Coakley special interest money at the trough set up by McMorris and Slade. She didn't have the sense to wait until session was over?
What kind of a moron would hand an issue to her opponents... both R AND d?
Not only is Herrera an empty suit, she's a DANGEROUS empty suit, who has no vision or ability to look at anything farther down the road then one of those meals she spent $500 over a 3 day period to eat.
7. Is that all?
No, not by a long shot.
Herrera and her keepers have drawn around them some of the worst, most low-life, scummy support I've ever witnessed in my 22 years of active politics, and 10 years of party politics and consulting.
Not all of them are, in fact, scum. But those who focus on people instead of issues certainly come under that heading... so if the shoe fits, wear it.
"Dual endorsements" from people lacking integrity to keep their word to ONE candidate.
Efforts made to peel off major figures from other candidates.
Supporters engaging in character assassination and down right lies in support of this manikin.
And you can tell a lot about a candidate by the people supporting them. And in this case, they seem to be the politically ignorant and cowardly.
If you have to lie in support of a candidate, you probably shouldn't support them. And the response to the Castillo robo call, which was accurate and factual in every detail, tends to show that those supporting this cardboard cut out of a candidate have lost any shred of integrity or dignity.
Just like the candidate they support.
8. So, if Herrera is elected... what are you going to do?
Use my First Amendment rights to politically pound her like a drum, thus my reason for setting up JaimeHerreraWatch.blogspot.com .
I will be the opposition to her as long as she's in politics... which, with any luck at all, won't be much beyond this November.
But my blog isn't going anywhere. And those who come here to read it from around the country will know anything and everything I can find so they remain informed about this misbegotten, horrific effort to corrupt our election at the behest of interests that don';t live here, but who have no trouble whatsoever telling us how to vote, what to think, and how to think it.
9. What if you're wrong about any of this?
Any time, any one or any group believes I am wrong, they certainly have the privilege of the blog to contact me, point out any inaccuracy, PROVIDE EVIDENCE of said inaccuracy, and I will publicly acknowledge my error and allow those making the allegation an entire post without edit or comment from me.
Now, in the past, I've been approached and told that I was in error about a post; specifically that I was wrong about the massive waste of taxpayer dollars when Jaime Herrera, reminiscent of the politically late and unlamented Stacy Sellers, burned her way through almost 500 taxpayer dollars for meals on a 3 day boondoggle trip to Spokane from DC and back... a feat I simply couldn't duplicate and believe me, I CAN eat.
I told her to email me the evidence in question and, I would, you guessed it, publicly withdraw my post and apologize for it.
That was several weeks ago... and I'm still waiting for the evidence in question.
In closing, that offer still stands. Those of you supporting Herrera who believe I'm wrong about any of this, feel free to contact me and I'll address that concern.
Meanwhile, thanks for stopping by. We have a long way to go until election, and a lot can happen in that time.

Brian Baird: Coward (VIII) He's finally having a Town Hall Meeting, and his PR firm (The Columbian's) spin action.

Of course, this kind of image could have been manufactured in Baird's own office. After all, anyone capable of calling his own constituents "Nazis" and "Brown Shirts" is capable of anything like this, as sick and twisted as he is.
The rag, no doubt, released this nonsense today to provide cover for their Cowardman's epic stupidity in handling all of this.
Well, Cowardman Baird is finally going to face a crowd. Many of them will be out of district, if not out of state, shills brought in to show bogus support for the Empty Suit's Health Care plan; Baird will continue to lie about his position on this issue (He will vote for it if the Belle of Botox tells him to... and she will) and he will get massive, positive coverage from the despicable rag that is our local newspaper... so they can begin the process of burying Baird's little indiscretion, wherein he referred to me and millions of others as "Nazis" and "Brown Shirts," among other things as he engaged in cowardly, inexcusable conduct in avoiding his constituents in the face of the empty suit's efforts to further his socialist agenda.
Baird's public rehabilitation plan, orchestrated and implemented by that waste of paper known as our local newspaper, has already started. They printed alleged death threats, probably (I mean POSSIBLY) manufactured to help the Cowardman's image, today.
One, allegedly (I'm just cynical enough to consider the probability (I mean POSSIBILITY) that all this sturm und drang is being manufactured out of whole cloth) includes the viral "socialist" image of that waste of space running the country, embellished with a swastika in the middle of his forehead.
The rag, no doubt, released this nonsense today to provide cover for their Cowardman's epic stupidity in handling all of this.

So, tonight, we'll see a dog and pony show full of mea-culpas by the Cowardman, as he strives mightily to put his despicable conduct behind him.

You suppose that they were put off by the monumental arrogance and waste represented by the empty suit's wife vaporizing hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars by rolling in a day early... instead of waiting ONE DAY and coming in on the massively wasteful plane trip of her old man?
Nah. Leftist arrogance is attractive, but even that can be over done. Clearly, ol bare arms was a hindrance; and the empty suit's "charm offensive" has been proven to be another waste of time, energy and effort.
The decision was just a few minutes ago.... so: how long until Obama blames Bush for HIS debacle?

Do I detect a trend? The Longview Daily News endorses Heck... and Castillo!
In yet ANOTHER stunning blow against the Card Board cutout from Ridgefield, the Longview Daily News gives Castillo a 1.000 batting average by becoming the third out of three daily papers in the area to endorse David Castillo!
The Daily News joins with the Columbian and the Seattle Times in pointing out that Castillo should make it through to the general election. Castillo is the only candidate endorsed by all three daily newspapers. Heck has been endorsed twice, and the clueless one has been endorsed once by the Columbian for reasons that defy description.
Clearly, a pattern is emerging: David Castillo is undeniably the best Republican... who also happens to have more endorsements then any of his competitors, even for a top two primary.
Previously the Establishment Queen of Inevitability, Babs has been reduced to Court Jester in a field where at least two candidates overwhelm the field in background, education and experience.

Color the 3rd Congressional District purple. District voters backed George W.
Bush in the 2000 and 2004 presidential races and Barack Obama in 2008. Republican Linda Smith represented the district from 1995 until she stepped down
at the end of her second term. Democrat Brian Baird claimed the open seat after
advancing from the primary to defeat Republican Don Benton in November 1998.The 3rd District seat is again open. Baird announced last December that six terms were enough, setting off a stampede of hopefuls and instantly grabbing the attention of national Democratic and Republican party officials.
There are six candidates vying for this hotly contested swing-district seat on the Aug. 17 primary ballot — three Republicans, two Democrats and one Independent. Based on fundraising, name identification and endorsements, Democrat Denny Heck of Olympia, and Republicans David Castillo of Olympia and Jaime Herrera of Camas are the clear frontrunners.
The Daily News editorial board recommends that voters advance Denny Heck and David Castillo to the November general election. Heck and Castillo impressed us as the most capable candidates in this crowded field, and they would offer voters in a district that trends both red and blue an excellent choice come November. Both hold fast to the principles of their respective parties, but they have the maturity and experience required to understand the practical value of moderation and cooperation.
Heck has been successful in both the public and private sectors. He entered the public sector at an early age, winning election to the state House of Representatives at 24. Heck represented Clark County's 17th District for 10 years, rising to House majority leader. He later served as Gov. Booth Gardner's chief of staff. After leaving politics, Heck co-founded TVW, a statewide public affairs television network similar to C-SPAN. He's also helped start up several successful businesses, including the digital entertainment company RealNetworks and a business that provides electronic medical records to health care providers.
Castillo, who declared his candidacy for the 3rd District seat well before Baird announced that he wouldn't stand for re-election, also has worked in both the public and private sectors. Following service in the Navy and earning a bachelor's degree at the University of Washington and master's from Gonzaga University, Castillo went to work in George W. Bush's administration, where he served as deputy assistant secretary in the Department of Veterans Affairs. So, what do Obama and Herrera have in common?

By now it should be obvious to everyone but the most ardent Obamaton how damaging the ascension of this empty suited, anti-American racist bigot has been.
There are few areas of America today, either domestically or in the foreign arena, where this total clown of a leftist puppet has not damaged this Nation for untold numbers of generations in our future.
I, for one, will never forget the truest thing ever uttered by any candidate in any election anywhere:
So now, we here locally are matched with the same threat.
Jamie Herrera is, unfortunately, my state representative.
She has proven there is no lie she won't tell; no exaggeration she won't engage in; no person she won't use to get elected.
This woman hadn't even lived in the district for the ten years before a corrupt appointment process gave her the job. During that process, she lied to the commissioners and she lied to us, but no matter; the fix was in from the beginning.
She had not owned a or operated a business, had a private sector job, didn't own any property and, in fact, the only tie she had to this district was an absentee voter registration.
She lied about being responsible for raising millions of dollars for Bush, lied about her position with McMorris (Notice how she always refers to herself as a "senior legislative aide?" A quick check shows that Herrera wasn't EVER a "senior legislative aide" working for McMorris. Why wold she lie?) and lied again when she likened her extensive absence from this district as being the "same thing as being in the military."
Having served, I can categorically state that pouring coffee for McMorris and being a career intern is NOTHING like "being in the military" and it's an outright insult to the millions of us who HAVE served in this Nation's defense.
Now, these observations set the table for the comparison between OUR empty suit: Jamie Herrera, and the empty suit currently, to our everlasting dismay, occupying the White House.
Did either Herrera or Obama serve in the Armed Forces?
No.
Did either Herrera or Obama ever work in the private sector or own a business?
No.
Did either Herrera or Obama have any legislative experience that remotely prepared them for election to the office they seek?
No.
Did both Herrera and Obama lie through their teeth to get elected?
Yes.
Do both Herrera and Obama support organized labor?
Yes.
Do both Herrera and Obama support SEIU?
Yes.
Do either of them have a clue?
No.
There are, no doubt, many other comparisons where these two are the same.
But for me, the question is this: why on earth would we compound our first error of electing an empty suited, anti-American racist bigot by electing another empty suited, absolutely-unprepared-to-be-in-Congress-cheerleader to represent this area as yet another notch in her unearned gunbelt?
Why?

Ridgefield Barbie's new name? Ridgefield Gutless.

Babs has got to figure out that the campaign is over, and her empty suit package act will no longer work.
First, her bogus, nonsensical lies concerning her committee assignments.
Her main keeper, Cathy McMorris Rogers (CMR) is number 3 or 4 in House Leadership. There was never a question as to what committees she was going to get. Why she'd lie about that is as mysterious as to why she'd lie about her job with CMR, and the basis for her SEIU support and her decision to help the democrats strip out the last $229 million from the state emergency fund.
The fact is that the decision concerning her committee assignments was made long before the election even took place.

Noooo problem. There IS an "option." It's to understand that by extending unemployment checks, you're extending unemployment. But then, you've never been the brightest bulb on the tree.
I'm reminded of a 19th century Officer Evaluation Report I read once. I believe the characteristics were something like this:

Your continuing cowardice and lack of understanding will make me think of that unnamed lieutenant every time I read about you, Babs.

Herrera declined to state a position on the sweeping tax package negotiated by President Obama and congressional Republicans, which passed the Senate Wednesday on an 81-19 vote and is now headed for the House.Cowardice is hardly an attractive trait in our "leaders." Democrats are really showing their priorities: Coakley much more important than Haiti

So... there was a horrific earthquake in Haiti.
Where's UN Special Envoy to Haiti Bill Clinton? Where was he Friday? Where will he be Sunday?
Is he doing the work he signed up to do? Is he going to Haiti? Is he meeting with UN officials, coordinating relief efforts, or anything of that sort?
And Sunday... where's the Empty Suit going to be?
In Massachusetts (Not having learned his lesson in New Jersey) doing the same.
While thousands of people... very BLACK people (Shades of Katrina. Remember the racism allegations against Bush by the fringe-left nutters based on HIS response?) are dying.
It's all a matter of priorities, you see. And what's a few thousands Haitians compared to saving that moronic, unwanted, unsalvageable health care bill?
What say the White House cancel their weekly, Nero-esque like parties and take that money and donate it to Haitian relief?
What say the empty suit cancel playing golf for a few years, and take all THAT money and donate it to Haitian relief?
Anyone want to hold their breath? I know that the same fringe left nutters who so roundly condemned Bush for HIS golf exploits will remain as silent on that now as they have since the Empty Suits inauguration.

I guess I'm not the only one who views Obama as "anti-American."

For months now, I've frequently prefaced the word "Obama" with the phrase "Empty suited, anti-American racist bigot."
The empty suit aspect has pretty much been adjudicated; calling him and "empty suit" does a disservice to clothing generally.
His racism and bigotry? Proven by his idiocy that led to the "Beer summit."
His anti-Americanism?
Take a look:

Revisionist history on Ridgefield Barbie's Wiki.

Look, we've all heard the crap, the exaggerations, the overblown resume' of our very own Congressional empty suit, Jamie Herrera.
So, I suppose it should be no surprise that she tries to plug the huge holes in her empty resume' by making something out of her multi-week gigs as a gofer in the state senate and the White House.
But her continued insistence on lying about her nonsensical claim that she was a SENIOR Legislative Aide to Meddler McMorris, the woman who slammed the empty suit together out of spare parts and had her planted here after a decade-long plus absence so she could run against Baird for Congress is puzzling indeed.
Herrera was never a "Senior Legislative Aide." Every time she said she was is just another instance of her overblown sense of self-importance.
Now, I really don't give a damn that she was just another low-ranking office flunky. That she hung around the Longworth or whatever doesn't make her any more qualified to be in Congress then the fact that my Spaniel can chew on a bone qualifies him to be a rancher.
But it is a troubling mental issue that requires individuals to lie about their background to pump up their sense of importance... a trait shared by Jon Russell, come to think about it, famous for lying about his background.
So why does she keep doing it?
Who knows?
The other bit of revisionism is this tidbit:

Herrera moved back to the 18th legislative district, and was appointed to the Washington House of Representatives in 2007 to replace former Rep. Richard Curtis, who resigned amid a sex scandal.
Words, of course, have meaning. And these words represent a lie... not so much that they didn't happen, but that they didn't happen in that order.
Barbie had been gone for over 10 years. She knew nothing about the issues confronting us in the district. She got the job because McMorris made a deal with my brother-in-law, Clark County Commissioner Marc Boldt, who's had it bad for McMorris since our days in the Legislature together.
Without Boldt, there would be no Barbie.
But the FACT is this: She got the appointment... only THEN did she move back here... because if she had NOT gotten the gig handed to her on a silver platter as a result of the deal, then she would have continued to work on McMorris's staff... getting McMorris her morning danish with coffee, two sugars or whatever.
Now, I can see her actually wanting people to believe she had lived here... at least awhile, before she scammed an appointment that she didn't deserve and lied about from the getgo. (What is it she said, lying to the commissioners? Oh yeah... something like this:
“Every step I have taken since high school has been preparing me for this. There is not a job in the world I would rather have.”
Lightning should have struck her dead on the spot for lying so blatantly, because seconds later, what do we have?
The fact that she didn't take any real steps... never held a private sector job, never owned a business or a house... you know, the kinds of steps that would tend to put her in touch with us common folk? That kind of thing?)
So, what do you do? You mislead. You exaggerate.

Thoughts on the debt ceiling.

A lot of fuss and feathers going on. The fringe leftists who brought us to this and who, when the shoe was on the other foot, cried about a “failure of leadership” while voting “no” on the GOP efforts to increase the same ceiling, a move I opposed then… as now... demand that we bury ourselves further in debt, having incompetently failed to do a budget last year, hoping it will become some sort of GOP fly-paper... the sort of scorched earth policy favored by the Nazi's in World War 2.
The vacuum of leadership in the United States today is frightening. Those in charge seem incapable of understanding the problems confronting us, and they seem equally incapable of putting the country first, ahead of their political futures.
So, no one wants to take the tough vote.
No one wants to do what has to be done, because the democrats and the media will play whack-a-mole with anyone coming up with any approach that reflects the realities confronting us.
The president’s plans have failed. We’re buried under a mountain of debt and the democrats demand the right to make the pile even higher.
We see our future. It’s spelled “Greece.” It’s spelled “Italy.” It’s spelled “Ireland.”
The economies of these countries were designed to do precisely what Obama has done, and is doing: force a massive expansion of government and debt.
The debt ceiling discussion and even the concept of “budget cuts” is a joke, since no proposal (And where is the president’s specific list of cuts? Where’s anyone’s?) actually CUTS the budget… it merely reduces the rate of increase.
This, of course, is one of the biggest problems we have: No one… on either side… tells the truth… the complete truth. Every word is strained through the filter of incredulity. Every word is parsed, examined, dissected as both sides look for the silver bullet to harm the other side while our nation has become collateral damage.
So, the result of the decades of lies, exaggerations, and “strategies” is that we know when anyone from either party is behind a mic there’s a very good chance that what we’re hearing is not the truth.
When, for example, the president told us he couldn’t “guarantee” that social security checks would be sent out, he was lying.
He was lying… deliberately… to frighten the elderly. “Fright” is a frequently used tool… typically by both sides of the political equation. But this was an unusually despicable example of the meme.
So, the left postures because they have never swerved from their desire to inflict socialism on this country; in this instance, Obama has broken out his nonsensical class warfare/class envy shtick.
Underlying all of this, of course, is the deliberate failure of the democrats to propose any budget… particularly when they controlled all 3 branches of government.
That was both a deliberate and political move, because they knew how bad it was, and they knew that if they were even to attempt to take the necessary steps to fix the country, that they would be branded for decades with the destruction of our economy.
So, they punted. Even now, Obama knows he’s going to have to do some very unpopular things… so even HE is making the efforts to punt beyond the next election… so the platter of manure he causes won’t land on him.
Instead, they’ve trashed our economy, buried us in a mountain of debt, bailed out their friends, and laughingly call for this bizarre concept of “shared sacrifice” when they do nothing of the kind.
Three local democrats commented on a local Facebook page, in response to the observation that we need to cut:
To me, the main problem isn’t the joke of the so-called “debt ceiling.” That’s a worthless construct, cast aside by out-of-control, arrogant jerks like, say, Tim “The Liar” Leavitt… as evidenced by the 19 times (The fringe leftists can’t avoid reminding us) the debt ceiling was increased during the Bush Administration.
That makes precisely zero difference or sense to me; if the GOP was wrong 19 times during the Bush Administration, (and they were) that doesn’t make the dems right to do it now.
Why don’t we just eliminate the debt ceiling altogether? It’s as worthless as Obama’s resume, so what’s the point?
I see the economic destruction descending on Europe. Instead of becoming LESS like that, we’re becoming MORE.
Democrats, who have no problem whatsoever spending money that belongs to others (Here, locally, for example, they want to bury us under a $10 billion mountain for their worthless bridge replacement/loot rail scam) because they feel the need to extort money wherever and however they can… tell us such crap like “Come on--- the top two percent can afford a little more to help us out of this hole that Obama added to but which was not of his making”
The self-delusion of this kind of nonsense is obvious.
First, “a little more” is an unending amount that will never satisfy those who, well, don’t have to pay it.
In this instance, those who feel compelled to demand a “little more” from others should, of course, set the example… and donate a few million to the government themselves, because apparently the fact the FIFTY ONE PERCENT OF AMERICANS DIDN'T PAY A DIME IN FEDERAL TAXES is meaningless to them.
Second is the truly bizarre idea that this train wreck isn’t precisely and exactly of Obama and the democrat’s making. The way this works for the left is that since the economy is crashing over a cliff, no one with a “D” after their name bears any responsibility whatsoever.
If, on the other hand, the Empty Suit HAD managed to turn it around instead of lying and showing us how incompetent he actually is; why, then, the democrats and Obama would get ALL the credit, because, well, naturally, everything bad is the GOP’s fault, and everything good is the direct result of the messiah’s efforts.
Third, the very idea that the only jobs developed by the rich are housekeepers, gardners[sic] and cooks shows a somewhat racist, stereo-typical view of the world surprising in what is alleged to be a more modern day democrat. Old habits die hard, I guess.
Overlooking investments, stocks, construction, furnishings, educations, property and other taxes PLUS the fact that the top ten percent of wage earners pay something on the order of 50% of all taxes has no impact on the left; because no matter HOW much they pay… it’s never enough for the party of class warfare and class envy.
When someone on the left says something bizarre like “-- I'll pay more and so should others who can aford[sic] it - it's almost a matter of patriotism…. I'll pay more, too Mark,” I’ve got to stop and ask: so… how much extra money have you, personally, sent to the federal government for them to spend as they see fit?
None?
Why not? You damned sure don’t have any problem spending the money of others.
The solution is to cut… period.
Cut the pay of federal workers back to the levels and staffing of 2008.
It’s a real yuk-fest to see how much money the empty suit is paying for the White House staff.
Odd, isn’t it? The idea of “shared sacrifice” only seems to apply to the uber rich, and not to the tens of thousands of federal workers making bank since the empty suit took over. Where’s his proposals for federal workers to take pay cuts commensurate with the rest of the economy?
Why is it that those of us who actually PAY their wages have to sacrifice, but those of them who receive the benefit of OUR labor… don’t?
Three years for unemployment? Are you KDDING me?
The last comment, which is dead wrong on it’s face, includes: “The solution is not rocket science, it's both raising taxes and cutting spending.”
It’s not, of course. It’s cutting, period. It’s cutting the payroll. It’s cutting the benefits. It’s cutting social security. It’s cutting medicare. It’s cutting the programs utilized by illegal aliens. It’s cutting the budget for congress and the White House. It’s eliminating departments like Education.
For the leftists, they believe people are “owed” this nonsense.
They are not. And until we can get past this bizarre “entitlement” society, we are doomed to fail. And if we increase the debt ceiling as the leftists demand so they can redistribute our wealth as THEY see fit… thereby ignoring the stark realities of a collapsing Europe… We’re doomed anyway.
Insanity is defined as, among other things, doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different outcome.
Thus, raising the debt ceiling is insane on its face, since that just gives the green light to the president to finish spending us into bankruptcy.
And what happens when we nail the ceiling again? When Obama was voting on that very project, he referred to it as a “failure in leadership.” Why was it a “failure of leadership” THEN, but NOT a “failure of leadership” now?
Because of the rank hypocrisy of those leading us.
When I was on legislative staff and constituents would complain, I would tell them that the most effective complaints came with realistic solutions.
Caving on this issue, no matter how it’s dressed up, is just the same business as usual approach that got us in this mess in the first place.
Adding a few trillion more to the fake ceiling will just move us down the road until we confront this mess again… and again… and again… until we’re in so much debt our money is Weimar worthless. We see our future and we refuse to acknowledge it.
If those running the show do not put the country first… ahead of everything else, including themselves and their careers, then we are doomed. Right now, we’re cursed with a president who has no personal investment in this country, who did nothing to deserve the job we foolishly gave him and has proven a level of incompetence that is frightening in its breadth and depth.
We cannot raise the debt ceiling. To raise it is to cave into those blinded by the reality confronting us, the reality that doing what the left wants is a band aid approach to arterial bleeding.
Cuts are what we need. We need to cut a massive amount of government. Everything must be on the table.
And I mean everything.
The left obviously lacks both the courage and the vision to do what has to be done. Instead, they focus on political advantage, fear and class warfare.
Blinded by the politics of it all, they and their ilk refuse to acknowledge that we have the luxury… now… to do what must be done.
Their way guarantees disaster… but pushes it down the road.
And that’s the choice we face as a nation: we can suffer some and feel some pain now… or we can just keep doing what we’ve been doing and feel the unbearable agony of the democrat plan latter, assuredly after the Liar-in-Chief is re-elected.
The longer we wait to do what we must, the fewer our options will be. And making the “richest 2% pay a ‘little bit' more” isn’t going to make any difference now… or then.

A lot of fuss and feathers going on. The fringe leftists who brought us to this and who, when the shoe was on the other foot, cried about a “failure of leadership” while voting “no” on the GOP efforts to increase the same ceiling, a move I opposed then… as now... demand that we bury ourselves further in debt, having incompetently failed to do a budget last year, hoping it will become some sort of GOP fly-paper... the sort of scorched earth policy favored by the Nazi's in World War 2.
The vacuum of leadership in the United States today is frightening. Those in charge seem incapable of understanding the problems confronting us, and they seem equally incapable of putting the country first, ahead of their political futures.
So, no one wants to take the tough vote.
No one wants to do what has to be done, because the democrats and the media will play whack-a-mole with anyone coming up with any approach that reflects the realities confronting us.
The president’s plans have failed. We’re buried under a mountain of debt and the democrats demand the right to make the pile even higher.
We see our future. It’s spelled “Greece.” It’s spelled “Italy.” It’s spelled “Ireland.”
The economies of these countries were designed to do precisely what Obama has done, and is doing: force a massive expansion of government and debt.
The debt ceiling discussion and even the concept of “budget cuts” is a joke, since no proposal (And where is the president’s specific list of cuts? Where’s anyone’s?) actually CUTS the budget… it merely reduces the rate of increase.
This, of course, is one of the biggest problems we have: No one… on either side… tells the truth… the complete truth. Every word is strained through the filter of incredulity. Every word is parsed, examined, dissected as both sides look for the silver bullet to harm the other side while our nation has become collateral damage.
So, the result of the decades of lies, exaggerations, and “strategies” is that we know when anyone from either party is behind a mic there’s a very good chance that what we’re hearing is not the truth.
When, for example, the president told us he couldn’t “guarantee” that social security checks would be sent out, he was lying.
He was lying… deliberately… to frighten the elderly. “Fright” is a frequently used tool… typically by both sides of the political equation. But this was an unusually despicable example of the meme.
So, the left postures because they have never swerved from their desire to inflict socialism on this country; in this instance, Obama has broken out his nonsensical class warfare/class envy shtick.
Underlying all of this, of course, is the deliberate failure of the democrats to propose any budget… particularly when they controlled all 3 branches of government.
That was both a deliberate and political move, because they knew how bad it was, and they knew that if they were even to attempt to take the necessary steps to fix the country, that they would be branded for decades with the destruction of our economy.
So, they punted. Even now, Obama knows he’s going to have to do some very unpopular things… so even HE is making the efforts to punt beyond the next election… so the platter of manure he causes won’t land on him.
Instead, they’ve trashed our economy, buried us in a mountain of debt, bailed out their friends, and laughingly call for this bizarre concept of “shared sacrifice” when they do nothing of the kind.
Three local democrats commented on a local Facebook page, in response to the observation that we need to cut:
Come on--- the top two percent can afford a little more to help us out of this hole that Obama added to but which was not of his making -- I'll pay more and so should others who can aford[sic] it - it's almost a matter of patriotism.
I'll pay more, too Mark. Raising revenue is just as important as spending cuts. Hi income households don't create the kinds of jobs we hope to bring to Vancouver. After all, you can only hire so many housekeepers, so many gardners,[sic] so many cooks, etc. And those are all low paying jobs. Household income is an entirely different matter than business who may or may not choose to hire employees. And taxes are at a 60 year low.Utter nonsense.
The solution is not rocket science, it's both raising taxes and cutting spending.
The D's need to suck it up and cut spending, and the R's need to understand that we need to let the Bush tax cuts die and go back to previous taxation levels. Until recently, our nation has always raised taxes during wartime… but we’ve been at war for a decade now, currently fighting in 3 theaters simultaneously, and no one wants to pay for them.
To me, the main problem isn’t the joke of the so-called “debt ceiling.” That’s a worthless construct, cast aside by out-of-control, arrogant jerks like, say, Tim “The Liar” Leavitt… as evidenced by the 19 times (The fringe leftists can’t avoid reminding us) the debt ceiling was increased during the Bush Administration.
That makes precisely zero difference or sense to me; if the GOP was wrong 19 times during the Bush Administration, (and they were) that doesn’t make the dems right to do it now.
Why don’t we just eliminate the debt ceiling altogether? It’s as worthless as Obama’s resume, so what’s the point?
I see the economic destruction descending on Europe. Instead of becoming LESS like that, we’re becoming MORE.
Democrats, who have no problem whatsoever spending money that belongs to others (Here, locally, for example, they want to bury us under a $10 billion mountain for their worthless bridge replacement/loot rail scam) because they feel the need to extort money wherever and however they can… tell us such crap like “Come on--- the top two percent can afford a little more to help us out of this hole that Obama added to but which was not of his making”
The self-delusion of this kind of nonsense is obvious.
First, “a little more” is an unending amount that will never satisfy those who, well, don’t have to pay it.
In this instance, those who feel compelled to demand a “little more” from others should, of course, set the example… and donate a few million to the government themselves, because apparently the fact the FIFTY ONE PERCENT OF AMERICANS DIDN'T PAY A DIME IN FEDERAL TAXES is meaningless to them.
Second is the truly bizarre idea that this train wreck isn’t precisely and exactly of Obama and the democrat’s making. The way this works for the left is that since the economy is crashing over a cliff, no one with a “D” after their name bears any responsibility whatsoever.
If, on the other hand, the Empty Suit HAD managed to turn it around instead of lying and showing us how incompetent he actually is; why, then, the democrats and Obama would get ALL the credit, because, well, naturally, everything bad is the GOP’s fault, and everything good is the direct result of the messiah’s efforts.
Third, the very idea that the only jobs developed by the rich are housekeepers, gardners[sic] and cooks shows a somewhat racist, stereo-typical view of the world surprising in what is alleged to be a more modern day democrat. Old habits die hard, I guess.
Overlooking investments, stocks, construction, furnishings, educations, property and other taxes PLUS the fact that the top ten percent of wage earners pay something on the order of 50% of all taxes has no impact on the left; because no matter HOW much they pay… it’s never enough for the party of class warfare and class envy.
When someone on the left says something bizarre like “-- I'll pay more and so should others who can aford[sic] it - it's almost a matter of patriotism…. I'll pay more, too Mark,” I’ve got to stop and ask: so… how much extra money have you, personally, sent to the federal government for them to spend as they see fit?
None?
Why not? You damned sure don’t have any problem spending the money of others.
The solution is to cut… period.
Cut the pay of federal workers back to the levels and staffing of 2008.
It’s a real yuk-fest to see how much money the empty suit is paying for the White House staff.
Odd, isn’t it? The idea of “shared sacrifice” only seems to apply to the uber rich, and not to the tens of thousands of federal workers making bank since the empty suit took over. Where’s his proposals for federal workers to take pay cuts commensurate with the rest of the economy?
Why is it that those of us who actually PAY their wages have to sacrifice, but those of them who receive the benefit of OUR labor… don’t?
Three years for unemployment? Are you KDDING me?

It’s not, of course. It’s cutting, period. It’s cutting the payroll. It’s cutting the benefits. It’s cutting social security. It’s cutting medicare. It’s cutting the programs utilized by illegal aliens. It’s cutting the budget for congress and the White House. It’s eliminating departments like Education.
For the leftists, they believe people are “owed” this nonsense.
They are not. And until we can get past this bizarre “entitlement” society, we are doomed to fail. And if we increase the debt ceiling as the leftists demand so they can redistribute our wealth as THEY see fit… thereby ignoring the stark realities of a collapsing Europe… We’re doomed anyway.
Insanity is defined as, among other things, doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different outcome.
Thus, raising the debt ceiling is insane on its face, since that just gives the green light to the president to finish spending us into bankruptcy.
And what happens when we nail the ceiling again? When Obama was voting on that very project, he referred to it as a “failure in leadership.” Why was it a “failure of leadership” THEN, but NOT a “failure of leadership” now?
Because of the rank hypocrisy of those leading us.
When I was on legislative staff and constituents would complain, I would tell them that the most effective complaints came with realistic solutions.
Caving on this issue, no matter how it’s dressed up, is just the same business as usual approach that got us in this mess in the first place.
Adding a few trillion more to the fake ceiling will just move us down the road until we confront this mess again… and again… and again… until we’re in so much debt our money is Weimar worthless. We see our future and we refuse to acknowledge it.
If those running the show do not put the country first… ahead of everything else, including themselves and their careers, then we are doomed.
