WA03's own MGP getting a lesson in democrat hatred because she voted with the GOP on the Save Act.

Our member of congress, aka "MGP" is getting a lesson, up close and personal, in the nazi-style hatred leftists can heap on anyone wise enough to leave the plantation and vote with the GOP on ANY major legislation.

In this case, Marie Glusenkamp-Perez took a practical vote for what's still considered to be a swing district, the 8 or so counties of Southwest Washington State that make up the 3rd Congressional District.

Here are just a sampling of the comments left by the hate-filled, ignorant fringe-left lies left by neocommunists on her two Facebook pages: (They're lying, of course: none of these haters would vote for a Republican under any circumstances.)

"Enjoy posting to your constituents while you can. No one is going to forget what you voted for. You’ll be out next election."

"No one trusts you"

"Shameless! You're now pretending to care about your women constituency? I'm not buying anything more from you! You sold us out. You're out too"

"You are a traitor!!"

"Don't pretend to give a fuck you treasonous DINO traitor"

"Almost as profoundly wrong as your vote to make it more difficult for women to vote. You should be ashamed of yourself."

"Your vote for the SAVE act was deplorable. Voting with the Republicans in order to put an extra burden on women voters is unacceptable. You have lost our household, 3 votes for your next election."

"Forcing women to go through more hoops than a man to vote is voter repression! You should be ashamed of yourself!!"

And so forth.

Hatred like the GOP gets from the left... and worse. These were just a small sampling by the scum who have no idea how the bill works or in reality, what's in it.

Reality: The vast majority of these people, whining, moaning and condemning WILL vote for her in '26.

Their hatred will keep them from turning their backs to anyone with a "D" label. They'd vote for Himmler if he ran as a democrat. I know it, MGP knows it and no matter how loud they scream now?

They know it as well.

It's a lesson MGP needed to learn if she hadn't already.

And to put a point on it:

Like many terrorist supporting thugs, her hobby was stealing the posters of those kidnapped by her heroes of hamas, the bloodthirsty scum who slaughtered 1300 unarmed men, women and children.

When she was outed, she was fired immediately and likely faces other professional consequences for supporting the butchers who attacked those civilians and kidnapped at least 200 others.

Another doctor, located in Denmark, of a child burned beyond recognition, was tweeted out by a Dr. Anastasia Maria Loupis.

A quick review of her twitter feed shoes a hatred of Israel and their Jewish inhabitants that is difficult to find on anyone not a Himmler-like figure.

This is the variety of mental illness she exhibits. On one day say X, next day says Y.

The NEXT doctor was an ER Doc in New York, one Dr. Dian Diab of Lennox Hill Hospital. I say "was" because the moment her support for the bloodthirsty scum of hamas hit social media, the hospital fired her at warp speed

There are others that can be found via google.

I find these things simply astounding.

Driven by a hatred so deep, they're incapable of controlling themselves in an era of lightning fast social media which they, apparently, had no idea would result in ending them professionally.

All so they could vent their hatred.

All that education and experience wasted.

But that is certainly how deep it goes.

Columbian implements new web site scam: if they don't like your comment, they only, apparently, make it visible to the commenter.

You have to wonder.

I heard that other newspapers were engaging in this scam. Put up a comment they don't like, and poof: it's invisible to anyone but the poster.

Of course that's the kind of scam our rag runs on the people they would serve: no lie they won't tell; no exaggeration they won't do in support of their agenda.

But now, added to that, are the invisible posts.

That way, people who disagree with them (as in, the vast majority in their service area) will continue under the illusion that their comments are still up... and still read by others.

Now, I've heard of this kind of garbage before. It's the scummy kind of thing that a steaming pile of hypocrisy would do.

In this instance, the article in question was Erin Nolan's self-serving swill defending the massive $40,000 FOR ONE DAY wasted on the paid mourners that went up to the police funeral on our dime.

There was pretty good comment about that this morning... and when I emailed the link to a buddy of mine, he gets back to me and tells me that the comment was gone so that he couldn't read it.

So, I look at the article, located here: and it turns out he's right.

But THEN, I look at the title page, and it says there are SEVEN comments there... when there are only six.

The reason? They want the guy who posted it to keep thinking it's there so he will stop beating the hell out of our local and despicable rag for censoring comments they don't happen to like.

The Columbian's dishonesty is legendary. But this takes it to a whole new level.

So, the Ducks beat the Beavs, and that's just a damned shame.

I detest both Oregon State and Oregon. But the Oregon Ducks are the football team with a criminal who should be in prison, instead of in school, so he can stay in a program reminiscent of the Jailblazer's halcyon days of basketball not so many years back.

Yes, Oregon proved they were the better athletic team. But in allowing this thug to remain on the team (which, of course, guaranteed his return to the playing field, just like I indicated it would the day he was "kicked off" the team.) they also proved something else. Something much worse... something much darker and underhanded.

I played college ball at a local Division 1A school. My involvement never got beyond "tackling dummy" stage, and orders to Saudi Arabia killed my budding walk on career before it ever started.

I have a clue about both the physical caliber of the athletes (One guy, who killed me on the field in high school, killed me on the field in college, and then went on to kill people on the field for the Oakland Raiders for several years... "kill," of course, being a rhetorical term) and the mental acuity it takes to play. Cursed with fullback's size but offensive tackle's speed, it just wasn't in the cards for me.

So, when I look at a thug taking up a scholarship that a much more deserving student could both use and appreciate, given the tens of thousands of dollars a grateful state pays for his "education," it infuriates me that the critical elements of character and integrity have no place while wearing a Duck's uniform.

Their win represents the most Pyrrhic of victories, where, ultimately, people around the world who follow football will forget the Ducks going to the Rose Ball LONG before they forget the thuggish behavior, and subsequent wrist slap of one of it's players.

There are all kinds of respect. And there are all kinds of reputations. The sham/scam of non-punishment this guy received when anyone else reading this would have went to prison for assault had they engaged in this kind of behavior is the thing that will become a legend.

And the scumbag Duck organization will deserve it.

Shame on them. And shame on the entire state of Oregon who has joined with them in looking the other way while this criminal continues to play a game that he didn't care enough about to stop himself from becoming a national embarrassment to the program and the entire state around this planet.

With any luck at all, Ohio State will drop these clowns by 38 to nothing.

Karma being what it is, that's what they deserve.

My NFL Boycott continues...

Just a brief update in the world of $1100/oz gold, horrific and utterly nonsensical domestic and foreign policies (Whoever thought the word "dither" could ever successfully be applied to the word "Afghanistan?") my NFL boycott continues.

As a former jock that loves the game of football but was never all that great at playing it, I was sure I'd miss it or go though withdrawals or something.

But I don't.

There's an awful lot of college ball out there, and while certainly not completely free of the corruptive hypocrisy tainting the NFL, (See the moronic reinstatement of that scumbag Blount by the scumbag Ducks) I believe the efforts out there on the field on not based on any particular views or sentiments of any particular alum or booster.

Refusing to watch the NFL has been far easier than I thought it would be; I anticipate no difficulty in continuing to avoid watching them for the rest of my life or until they do the right thing, whichever comes first.

Baird voted no on the Democrat-sponsored bill and he also voted, some time back, for the troop surge in Iraq despite clear indications from his constituency -- the same constituency that voted for his re-election as a Democrat. It has left me wondering if he's really a Republican in disguise. And I am wondering why the Columbian decided not to cover that fact except in a one line sentence thrown in at the end of this article. Maybe we need to hear his reasoning. Maybe it deserves an article of its very own. Not that this isn't concerning, but isn't his vote important news by itself?

The fact that the FBI is taking the threats made against Rep. Baird to be credible and serious should be sufficient to warrant an apology from those who questioned his integrity and implied the threats were fictitious.

I don't like Baird. I think he's a moron. I think he opens his mouth before his brain has had a chance to connect to it. His unwillingness to listen to those who elected him and who he works for was beyond wrong. If he can't do the job he was elected to do, then he shouldn't be re-elected.

John K, I suggest it is the FBI's job to do what they are pursuing, AND it does not mean there was a credible threat... just doing their job. (which is something Baird will not have for long. He is a pro at garnering and using media attention to his advantage, to bad he is not an effective representative of his constituency. Party over.

Many people deal with death threats w/o making it public knowledge. (a good thing and responsible action)

Maybe you should enlist, brat. I'll bet that your dad would show a little more respect for another public servant; something you could learn from.

Baird has done an exemplary job as representative for ALL his constituents, not just the ones that voted for him. that is what makes him such a good congressman. I would rather he did exactly what I wanted, but I know that there were a lot of Republicans that voted for him also, and he does a good job of staying in the middle, like most of his district.

BTW, the Navy vs Marines thing is an internal joke... they are part of the same branch. Grunts and squids have been jawing back and forth for decades; no offense intended.

Boot, stop whining. Baird did the right thing by reporting it to the FBI. How this story got out to the public has yet to be explained, unless I missed something. You were probably one of the people that screamed at him for supporting the surge. ( which I might add he did only after going to Iraq to see for himself.) And you probably thought that there would be no way he could be re-elected then, but he was.

It sounds to me like nobody in office could ever do enough to please you... name one.

Oddly, I missed the part of the article that said "the FBI is taking the threats made against Rep. Baird to be credible and serious." Could you point that out, please? In fact, they refused to confirm they're even looking at it. Please do yourself a favor and don't see things that aren't there.

That you say they are does not make it so. Unless they have an arrest and conviction by the next election, Baird is done. Even his main cheerleaders here call the threat "alleged."

This ain't rocket science. That the Capitol Police couldn't find anyone makes me even more suspicious, and that the FBI is now involved in a relatively simple and minor issue such as this does not make me any more confident that the good Congressman didn't make this up after the fact.

This was a "message left" at Baird's office... a message called in. Well, how come we haven't heard it? It must have been recorded. If so, can we all hear it? If not, why not? Maybe someone could identify the caller.

Why would Baird be threatened in the first place? He's a total back-bencher, completely removed from any decision making on this bill, so why would anyone bother to threaten a non-player like this?

No one should allow slavish devotion to cloud their judgment. I am certainly capable of apologizing when proof is provided he didn't make it up. Until then, given his offensive characterization of me and my fellow Veterans as nazi's (along with millions of others) I am not capable of suspending my disbelief as a result of your unsupported remark.

I seem to remember when these so-called "threats" were first made, most people here agreed that it would be very easy to track down the source of these "threats" because of the way in which they were made. Here we are now, months later, and the idiots "investigating" these "threats" have turned the investigation over to an even bigger bunch of political idiots - the FBI.

Perhaps it would be a much better idea to turn the investigation over to Mrs. Smith's sixth grade class, since they would actually spend the 15 minutes it would take to find the "perpetrators" because they don't have a political interest in keeping the "threat" myth going.

The FBI doesn't typically waste time and resources on investigations without credible evidence to believe a crime has been committed. This is particularly true when partisan politics is involved.
And waiting until an arrest and conviction have been made before apologizing is a cop out. A crime is still a crime regardless of whether an arrest and conviction have been made.

Personally, I am grateful to the Columbian for finally get on the stick with regard to this story but I have no illusions that they would have let it go without the constant prodding of their readers. Now I want to see an arrest, either of the perpetrator who made the threat or the Congressman or Congressional staffer that fabricated the threats. Until one of those events transpire I will continue to reserve final judgment on this issue. If the investigation leads no where I will consider this a mini-Reichstag Fire set by Baird and swept under the rug by the Obama Administration.

If the threat was real, this investigation is long overdue. The Capitol Police say they only assess such matters and if credible, turn them over to the FBI. I'm wondering if it was finally turned over because of calls from us to the Capitol Police inquiring about the status of any investigation?

I am surprised to see Kathie write, "At the time, Clark County Republican Chairman Ryan Hart called the remark 'just unbelievable'," when in her initial account of the Rotary luncheon, she apparently did not even hear the comment as she made no mention of it until a day afterwards.

An alleged death threat reported by U.S. Rep. Brian Baird at the height of last summer’s furor over health care reform has been turned over to the FBI.

U.S. Capitol Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider confirmed Monday that the FBI has taken over the investigation, which does not happen in every case. "Not every case do they jump in," she said. Schneider said cases can remain open for years, so a three-month investigation by Capitol Police is not unusual.

Lindsay Godwin, a spokeswoman for the FBI’s field office in Washington, D.C., declined to confirm or deny that the matter was under investigation. "If so, I can’t share anything," she said. She added, "We share information through our task force officers on a regular basis with the local police. We work hand-in-hand with local law enforcement."

Baird’s office declined comment.

"Capitol Police told our office that they wouldn’t be making any comment related to the death threat and nor should we," said Kelly Love, Baird’s district manager in Vancouver. "We will follow that advice."

On Aug. 6, as emotions ran high in the health care debate, Baird went on MSNBC’s "The Rachel Maddow Show" to say that a coordinated national effort to disrupt congressional town hall meetings on health care reform reminded him of the atmosphere that led Timothy McVeigh to bomb the Alfred R. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

He made a similar comment to The Columbian that day in explaining why he had decided not to hold town hall meetings during the August congressional recess.

Four days later, on Aug. 10, Baird’s staff reported that someone called his office in Washington, D.C., and left a message that said, approximately, "You think Timothy McVeigh was bad, there’s a Ryder truck out there with your name on it." The message was forwarded to Capitol Police, according to Baird’s staff.

Baird later apologized for his remarks, and went on to hold a series of raucous town hall meetings in his Southwest Washington district. But he incited a new flare-up on Aug. 19 when he alluded to the death threat in an offhand comment at a Rotary Club luncheon without explicitly explaining the reference. McVeigh used a Ryder truck in the bombing.

At the time, Clark County Republican Chairman Ryan Hart called the remark "just unbelievable."

Baird responded that his brief comment had been "taken out of context for cheap political gain."

On Saturday, Baird voted against the House Democrats’ health care bill.

Continuing to shill Barnett's lies about the sewer as an excuse... a sewer that, once built, would find the entirety of it's capacity taken up by the megacasino, leaving NOTHING left over TO develop the I-5 interchange as their excuse, the council is chomping at the bit to implement the tribal plan.

When these clowns say they "don't see the harm" in negotiating, it's all because they don't CARE about "the harm."

The Nolans moved to LaCenter to ramrod this deal through as a way to get the Sheriff's department expanded. They don't give a damn about this community or LaCenter, as long as they think they can scam more FTE's as they act like Igor to Dr. Frankenstein.

"The HARM" is obvious, as even the act of negotiation breaks a previously unified front AGAINST the megacasino, which, come to think of it, amounts to even MORE lies from these scum, who TELL us that they oppose the casino, but have yet to show ANYTHING where they've acted to stop it.

Yes, LaCenter City Council.... talk IS cheap. And so are bought politicians.

Well done.

And, that they ARE liars is confirmed by applying this simple test:

Will these "negotiations" (which, in fact, will consist of the council doing what they're told) make it MORE likely, or LESS likely this crap pile will be built?

As I have frequently pointed out before, leftist tards are incapable of viewing these things in terms of what the people will save; they can only see it in terms of what it will "cost government," as if OUR government is not supposed to be "by, of and for the people."

The rank absurdity of his observation about Gates and Allen fighting 1033 is just that: rank and absurd.

Westnet tells us, according to this moron, that Gates would see a tax break of $571,000 while Allen would see a mere pittance in comparison: a break of $150,000.

Gates is worth a paltry $50 BILLION (That's BILLION, with a "b")

Allen is worth much less, and has to settle for scrambling to get by on $10 BILLION (also with a "b")

Allen goes through that much money in a week just to fuel his basketball team's jet.

In short, while clowns like Laird want us to be impressed with how much these stalwarts of altruism (Allen has made tens of millions off the taxpayers of this state and controls the Seahawks Stadium that we got suckered into sinking $400 million taxpayer dollars into) stand to lose if their fight is successful, because the two numbers sound SO BIG... the fact is that to these guys, it's the equivalent of pennies.

It's easy for them to give up what they would gain because relative to all of their massive wealth, the numbers are essentially meaningless.

Gate's wealth exceeds my own by a factor of, say, 100,000. That is, he is worth something on the order of 100,000 times more money than I am.

With my worth at, say, around $500,000, I have to provide roughly 1 percent of that worth in property taxes every year to a grateful state of Washington.

Were Gates required to do that... that is, were gates required to fork that kind of cash over, the equivalent percentage of his wealth would be.... $500,000,000 per year (1 percent of $50 billion) as opposed to my 1 percent of $500,000 or so.

In short, Gate's PROPERTY TAX BILL for ONE YEAR is roughly twice my net worth.

Taking it a step further, that HUGE, $571,000 tax break he's working to get rid of represents, well, let's see:

If he's worth $50 billion.... then $571,000 would represent .0001 or so of his wealth per year; or, as a percentage of all the money he's worth, something on the order of 10,000 times LESS than I will have to pay.

Relatively speaking, Gates is giving up the equivalent, perhaps, of the cost of a latte' every year by fighting this... if that.

So, I am not impressed by either Laird's Lies OR Westnet's Words. Compared to the rest of us... compared to those of us actually paying the lion's share of our state's budget... and particularly when viewed through the prism of the rank hypocrisy Laird exhibits with each of his whines and snivels about tax breaks given the massive tax break HIS employer got from a grateful leftist legislature, these lies are meaningless.

Why Laird insists on repeating them as if they made some difference... much like the "sky is falling" left sniveled about I-601, 695 and 747... is beyond me.

Frankly, that Laird opposes 1033 is reason enough for everyone else to vote for it.... because our courageous legislature would NEVER let these big cuts go through.... would they?

I, for one, believe it to be that the leftists have made the decision to avoid the costs and hassles of duplication. After all, why should they organize and pay for another group of democrats when the mainstreamers have provided that for them?

In this election... as in past elections, there's been no difference between the democrat positions and the so-called positions of the mainstreamers.

Democrats oppose I-1033 because they like things they way they are right now. Out of control spending, massive debt, enslavement of generations to pay for their programs. They offer precisely zero alternatives to 1033... no middle ground... no effort to tame the spending virus that infects them.

Oddly enough, that description also seems to fit the mainstreamers.

For once, the state GOP grew a pair and took positions... positions in favor of 1033 and in opposition to R 71. Not surprisingly, the democrats masquerading as Republicans known as mainstreamers took the democrat's positions on these... (Both R71 and I1033) positions in opposition to what is supposed to be their own party.

I despise mainstreamers. Currying favor from their fellow leftists may make them feel better, but selling out their own party ultimately winds up hurting the people of this state.

I get the buzz every now and then from people asking me why, after hammering Pollard like a nail, I'm now blowing enough political holes into Tim "The Liar" Leavitt that he can't even drink without leaking.

Well, it's simple. Tim Leavitt is a liar. His campaign started with a cynical ploy to get an endorsement from the, relatively speaking, 15 or so voting hispanics in Clark County, and he illegally used his position as a city councilman to get that endorsement.

That did it for me.

I frequently disagree with Royce Pollard. But on policy, there's essentially no difference between the two candidates.

They both want the I-5 Bridge replaced; they both want light rail, and they both know tolls will be required to get it.

Tim "The Liar" knows this as well. So what's he doing to separate himself from being in lock step with Pollard?

He's lying about his position on tolls.

As I have frequently shown, Leavitt supports tolls; he knows tolls are required; he knows this bridge won't be replaced without tolls, and he will not oppose the bridge when tolls are required.

Of course, if he REALLY opposed tolls, he would tie his support of the bridge to that issue.

But he doesn't, because he clownishly tells us he doesn't want to be an "obstructionist."

It's not surprising that this little worm has confused principled opposition, supported by the facts, with being an "obstructionist."

Leavitt and his handlers, including Steve "Show me the $100,000, Mr. Barnett" Stuart, have signed on to the edicts of nazi propaganda minister Joesef Goebbels, that if you tell a lie long enough, loud enough and often enough, the more ignorant and uninformed will gradually accept it as truth.

All of his other lies notwithstanding, his latest whiny, sniveling, despicable effort involves an email the moron running his campaign sent out; where, once again, he refuses to take responsibility for HIS screw ups, and then includes the following blatant lie about Pollard:

Of course, there are extenuating circumstances about where I was registered (at mom's house) versus where I was living after coming home from WSU. In any event, after getting more involved in our local government, it became apparent to me the importance of voting and of course, other than a few presidential primaries, my voting record is much improved since 2002. Brancaccio cherry picks ONE issue, in this case, matching convention headlines with the two political parties, and from those, concludes that he's "fair."

. Reality One: Our current I-5 bridge does not require replacement.

Replacing this bridge is a huge waste of money because the current bridge works perfectly well and has been declared "safe" by the Region 6 DOT Administrator, Don Wagner. This in the face of the local rag's despicable lies and exaggerations they rely on to try and persuade us that THEY, and THEY alone know what's best for us.

. Reality Two: The ENTIRE reason to replace the perfectly safe and functional I-5 Bridge is, start to finish, to get the camel's nose under the tent flap of Portland's loot rail into Clark County.

The ONLY reason to replace a bridge that doesn't NEED replacement is to bring loot rail into Clark County.

Thus, those shilling this garbage are willing to waste $4 to, ultimately, $8 BILLION or more of OUR money to bring in THEIR loot rail.

. Reality Three: Those screaming the loudest to make this project happen.... won't have to pay for it.

That's right. The scum demanding this project; the leaders of government in Vancouver and our own birdcage liner streaming pile of hypocrisy will not be among the 65,000 plus commuters every work day who will ultimately be tasked to shoulder the burden of PAYING for a project WE do NOT want, that it's main cheerleaders will NOT have to pay for.

. Reality Four: The rank hypocrisy of I-5 Bridge cheerleaders.

One of the most complex subtopics in the new-bridge discussion has little to do with civil engineering. It has to do with money. It's the matter of tolling, and what this subject definitely does not need is knee-jerk "No!" responses from people who refuse to recognize that tolls helped build both of today's Interstate 5 Bridge spans, and tolls are used more often these days to pay for bridges in this state and nationwide.

What the scumbag who wrote this garbage doesn't realize is that the arguments against this massive crap pile FAR exceed any arguments for it.

Thus the "NO" position on tolls is well-reasoned and quite justified, ONCE YOU STOP TO REALIZE THAT THERE IS NO REASON TO REPLACE THIS BRIDGE OR REQUIRE TOLLS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

We all get, save for scumbag Tim "The Liar" Leavitt, that this thing will not be built without tolls. We get that, in spades.

But since there is NO REASON TO BUILD IT, then there is NO REASON FOR TOLLS.

What our history of tolling is; what other states do or do not do, is absolutely irrelevant and worthless as a basis for US to do ANYTHING.

This despicable rag knows that. What others do to address there transportation problems is, most likely, based on the reality of their situation.

The reality of OUR situation is that the bridge DOES NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED, that the ONLY reason these scum want to replace this bridge is to bring in loot rail, that those whining the most about this garbage WON"T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT, and that the 65,000 commuters who WILL have to pay upwards of $1300 or more per year will do so IN ADDITION TO PAYING OREGON STATE INCOME TAX.

That's our reality. And those who have this "knee jerk" reaction that tasks everyone ELSE to pay for what THEY want are rank hypocrites when they try and play that card against us.

. Reality Six: They won't let us vote on it.
