Ridgefield Barbie's new name? Ridgefield Gutless.

.
Babs has got to figure out that the campaign is over, and her empty suit package act will no longer work.

First, her bogus, nonsensical lies concerning her committee assignments.

Her main keeper, Cathy McMorris Rogers (CMR) is number 3 or 4 in House Leadership. There was never a question as to what committees she was going to get. Why she'd lie about that is as mysterious as to why she'd lie about her job with CMR, and the basis for her SEIU support and her decision to help the democrats strip out the last $229 million from the state emergency fund.

The fact is that the decision concerning her committee assignments was made long before the election even took place.

Second, the gutless, campaigning Barbie shines through here:
Herrera declined to state a position on the sweeping tax package negotiated by President Obama and congressional Republicans, which passed the Senate Wednesday on an 81-19 vote and is now headed for the House.

“I don’t get a chance to vote on it or to weigh in,” she said. “During the campaign, I made it clear I’m not going to raise taxes. I’m committed to that.”
Cowardice is hardly an attractive trait in our "leaders." Grow a pair and tell us, Babs. This is, after all, America, and you ARE allowed to have an independent thought in your head, even if you've skipped that part of thinking for the past 5 years or so.

And this:
She said she likely would have voted for the 13-month extension of federal unemployment benefits. “With as many people unemployed in our region as we’ve got, I don’t see that there’s an option. However, I believe it should have been offset” with cuts in other areas, she said.
One of the first things I learned in Olympia was that the voting machine doesn't count a "reluctant yes" any differently than a regular "yes." Voting the way the democrats want is a well-established pattern by our local empty suit. Add tens of billions to the deficit?

Noooo problem. There IS an "option." It's to understand that by extending unemployment checks, you're extending unemployment. But then, you've never been the brightest bulb on the tree.
Herrera also declined to take a position on whether she would support an increase in the federal gas tax if that becomes necessary to help pay the federal share of a new Columbia River Crossing. During her campaign, she said she was opposed to burdensome tolls on commuters who use the bridge and believed the federal government should pay “the lion’s share” of the cost. The total cost of the project is estimated at $3.6 billion.

“I’m on board with making sure the federal government understands this is something that needs to be taken care of,” she said. “I’m operating under imperfect information.”
Since when has that ever stopped you? We don't pay your empty-suited behind to "decline to take positions." We need to know what's rattling around that empty head so we know what to "Stuart" you over.

I'm reminded of a 19th century Officer Evaluation Report I read once. I believe the characteristics were something like this:

"poor fellow... unfit to carry the hod."

Your continuing cowardice and lack of understanding will make me think of that unnamed lieutenant every time I read about you, Babs.

The Columbian and establishment Republicans will continue to fawn over her, never recognizing she has never accomplished anything of merit or that she is unlikely to.

It has always been about her and her quest to be a career establishment politician.

I am bothered too by her seeming non-position on ensuring loot rail is included in the bridge project, which so few actually want.

Sometimes, people (voters) have to learn hard lessons the hard way.

Could it be the reason WHY she is in office (And was pushed by the local party) is to guarantee that very little fairy money from the feds lands on any local projects or the columbia river crossing?

That way we pay the maximum in tolls and other unmentionable financial reasoning. If Jaime is our federal representative, this will guarantee that this bridge falls right in line with what the elite want here in Clark County?

Entirely plausible scenarios. Apparently, she doesn't realize that at some point soon, she will have to take a position, and good or bad, she's going to be held accountable for that position, whichever it may be.
