Another in the series of democratian ignorance indicators: Kathleen Parker

In the latest of the usual series of democratian babbles holding only one side of the political spectrum accountable for government idiocy, something called "Kathleen Parker" who claims to be something called a "Democratian Syndicated Columnist" appears to be gullible enough to preach to the fringe-left Amen Choir that gets the excuse for journalism that the idiocy and terrible outcomes of the Obamascam program isn't the fault of anyone but the GOP.

The GOP, of course, is responsible for every aspect of this turd, from the abysmal failure of the billion dollar website, to the lack of anywhere close to the numbers of people, particularly young people, signing up for this extortion, to the fact that there's no system in place to actually move the payments from those stupid enough to HAVE signed up to the actual providers... to the fact that millions of Americans who were foolish enough to believe this moron in the White House have had their policies cancelled and their doctors taken away?

Yup.

That's all the GOP's fault.

The Belle of Botox is completely blameless: little Miss "We have to pass the bill to see what's in it" gets off scott-free.  Zero accountability for the Liar-In-Chief.

The fact that these democrat scum voted on a bill they had not read, including our own Brian Baird, who obliterated his nonsensical, never followed by Baird in the first place requirement, to put the entirety of that (or any other) bill on line for at least 72 hours before a vote is held so that we can examine it for ourselves.... that the GOP was completely shut out of the formulation of this massive rip off... that it passed out of a completely democrat-controlled Congress and White House?

None of that made any difference to Parker, who basks in such ignorance that I wouldn't let her run an elevator for me.

She's politically ignorant enough that she actually, apparently believes this pap:
As the government health care website chugs along, the Obama administration has initiated a counter-initiative to combat Republican naysaying — and its weapons are of superior grade.
The bunker buster is positive messaging and a return to hope and change.
So, Parker: how much did the DNC promise you to write this garbage?

Here's another version of Parker's babble:
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Parker's frightening gullibility shows that she's far too ignorant to be paid for this garbage.

When the Soviets were invading Berlin, nazi propaganda minister Joesph Goebbels was engaging in much the same nonsense as Parker: lie after lie to convince the German people to keep up the fight: a belief in super-weapons that would turn the tide, bucking up the morale of a people already defeated... an early version of Baghdad Bob.

She completely overlooks the abysmal failure of the entirety of the system.  She is moronic enough to actually believe that putting a happy face on Obama's year's long series of lies:

Millions of people are getting screwed by Obama's lies:

And here's the thing, Ms. Parker:

1.  Go back and take PoliSci 101 over again until you can figure this out:

2.  NO amount of "positive messaging" can get this moron, or any other leftist who stood up on the floor of the Senate or the House and parroted his lies... who voted for this abortion... past this.

There's a reason that democrats are terrified.  There's a reason that democrat Senators are freaking out over this.  There's a reason that this idiocy is sucking all the air out of the room.

The president lied.

Our health insurance died.

Beat up the GOP all you want, but the fact is that had the GOP just remained silent on this, it would be just as bad.  The concept that the GOP has been in charge of this negativity... that the messaging is all GOP-inspired?

Ignorance.  Stupidity.  Leftist hackery.

The lie that the GOP has had no other ideas?

The same.

The idea that a bad hand should continue to be played because that's the only hand you've got?

Parker, is their any way you can get a refund for your tuition?

Because you obviously paid for something that you never got.

The American people have finally had it.  Democrat lies and efforts to hijack our wallets have finally made an indelible impact that can't be shined on, or excused.  You leftists own the entirety of this rip off.  You wanted this garbage, and now you've got it.  The fact that you're choking on it is just a bonus.

The fact that you've hurt millions of Americans in the process?

It's going to take a hell of a lot of "positive messaging" to overcome THAT, idiot.

Democratian begins pro-Pridemore campaign: did Parker and Barnes lie to the democrats?

We see where the rag has begun their pro-Pridemore campaign with what is likely to be a front-page, above the fold picture of the 3 on the execution list submitted to the commissioners by the democrats... except, of course, apparently at this point, neither Parker nor Barnes have filed... no doubt in an abortive effort to get Pridemore the appointment.

But there was a 4th player in this little melodrama: the damsel running the Daily Couv, one Temple Lentz... who was not put on the list because... well, because she told the democrats she wouldn't run in November.

So, that leaves the other two.

Parker mistakenly thought she had the gig in the bag.  Sources told me 2 weeks ago that she planned on resigning from the Chamber of Horrors where she'd lied about the CRC Scam for so many years as early as last week, to accept what she was sure was going to be the offer.

Her absence, had she received the gig, would have only lasted until 20 days after the November election anyway, because at that point, Jeanne Stuart will be sworn in... and Parker would, no doubt, go back to the Chamber of Horrors.

So Pridemore is the first to step up to get his political head handed to him in a basket.  But what of the other two?

It's going to be a long week for democrats generally, and these two in particular.  They must have made assurances they'd run in November that Lentz was not prepared to make.  So what happens if they don't file?

Well, if they don't file, then why were they included on the list?

Why was Temple kicked off of it?

If they don't file, will the commissioners go to court to have the democrats declared out of compliance by failing to provide three names of legal candidates?  How cool would THAT be.

And, of course, if they don't file, would Parker leave her cush gig at the Chamber of Horrors knowing that she'd never be able to sit in a commissioner's seat?

I still think it should be Ed Barnes.  Trashing him will be a hoot.  Let him sit up there and get hammered: see how HE likes it.

Still, there's some questions that need to be asked here: will the dems have the guts to ask them?

Philip Parker: when you start off with a fallacy, everything else falls apart.

.
As the democratian continues in their one sided effort to shill for a bridge replacement we don't need and a loot rail system we neither need or want, we can expect them to continue to print moronic efforts like those of Philip Parker,"a retired journeyman electrician" who lives in Battle Ground and who happens to be the Chair of the Washington State Transportation Commission.

And that's just sad.

In this letter, rife with such inaccuracy as the variety favored by the local fishwrapper, this "retired journeyman electrician" (read: union hack) is, like the vast majority of the other unnecessary bridge cheerleaders, one of those who would slam us into billions of dollars of debt... while *HE* doesn't have to pay for any of it.

That's the commonality among the bridgers/loot railers: few, if any of them will have to pay the horrific amount of money ($1300 per year or more) to cross a bridge every day to go to work that does not need or require replacement; and all for a loot rail system that is the entire basis for replacing the bridge in the first place.

Contrary to what Parker claims... we do not need to replace the bridge. Nor do we need light rail.
But for union hacks, indebting the people of Clark County for unnecessary billions so he can get unions back to work is just par for his course.

"Tolling" is extortion, particularly for this project. What we need are, of course, 2 additional bridges. Parker's allegation that building this crap pile will impact freight mobility or congestion is a long disproven lie. Additional bridges east of the I-205 Bridge and West of the I-5 Bridge are the inarguable solution.

Building additional bridge capacity to reduce pressure on the I-5/I-205 bridges is an obvious response to the corridor saturation we face; replacing the I-5 bridge will do absolutely nothing Parker claims it will... except to pay union workers outrageous amounts of money for the largest "make work" project in the history of this planet.

God help us that a self-delusional hack runs this state's transportation commission; he is part of the reason why there are no solutions... just unnecessary extensions of our current transportation agonies.

Local fringe leftists can't even put their hatred aside for a day.

Over the last year or so, it has become increasingly evident that leftist hate was bound to boil over.

Years of fostering that hatred at all levels; here locally by Lefty Lou Brancaccio and nationally by a large cast of fringe-left whack jobs led by the former president and his acolytes has come to fruition: a Bernie supporter, whipped into a frenzy of hatred for years by these scum decided to act out on his leftist-inspired hatred by attempting to kill as many GOP members of Congress as possible.

The hatred inculcates the left to the atomic level; for years they've expressed that hate, assaulted and killed those opposed to it, burned and looted and disrupted and blocked and whined and sniveled in their efforts to silence those not in lockstep with their cult of political power-elite, socialist and communist ideation.

Here locally, the fringe-left puppet-masters jerked the chain of those thoughtless cretins who answer the call.  Their hatred results in a blind opposition to anything and everything not sourced by one of their own... again, either locally or nationally.

They've even infected our local RINO population.

Where, for example, is the clarion call for unity by the largest voice of hate in Southwest Washington, the daily democrat?  Where is their concern for civility on the left? Their concern over spilling blood by their fellow leftists?  Of silencing those who oppose them?  Or riots an burning and looting by their fellow travelers?  Of the silence of the fringe-left leadership?

Can we even begin to imagine what these same people would be saying... and doing... had yesterday's attempt to slaughter happened because of a Trump supporter attempting to kill democrat congressional members?

We'd never hear the end of it.

The result is a local government in Vancouver and in charge of this county that is inept, incompetent and frankly, a disgrace to the concept of being an instrument of, by and for the people.

Yesterday's attempted slaughter of those serving in government as members of the Republican Party hasn't slowed the left down in the least.

Here's their thoughts on the matter: read them yourselves and decide:

This was a targeted attack by a liberal progressive against a republican group of people. I don't condone what has been done, but we need to look behind the scenes for why it happened. The country has become very strongly divided and we need to be working to bring it back to center. Violence will not solve what is going on, but the vehement tirads from the extremes on both sides need to stop. The riots after Trump was elected, just intensified things more, with no real positive results. The left is on an all out attack plan right now, but we did see the Left and the Right echo the same throught this morning, I just hope they remember it going into the future. I suspect they won't.

One of their own... a hard corps leftist... a Bernie supporter... had just attempted to slaughter the same people these scum deride. Given the opportunity, there is little doubt that he would have murdered the President.

And had he been successful, these same leftists would have been dancing in the street.

They reek with hatred, not just here locally, but at every level.  Their hate site, the C3G2 site on Facebook, is replete with the kind of hatred espoused here. And it's because the left has fostered that hatred, encouraged that hatred, rewarded that hatred, frequently paid for that hatred... and the right recoils in horror from it instead of fighting back.

The result?

The kind of hatred on display by those on the here... the kind they couldn't even put aside for a day.  The kind of hatred that, had such an attempt been made against leftist members of Congress, no doubt would have been used as yet another excuse to riot, burn and destroy.

The kind of hatred that drove one of their own to try and murder.

Some reeking hypocrisy from loser Kelly Love-Parker on the commissioner selection.

For years, this woman and her organization ignored the people of Clark County as she was one of the main shillers for the CRC/loot rail scam.

No lie she wouldn't tell.  Not attitude she wouldn't ignore, no vote she wouldn't protest when we, the people, were the ones doing the voting.

Watch for yourself as, all of a sudden, NEWSPAPER polls, jammed with multiple votes from the same fringe-left nutters, should, in her world, have been used as the ONLY criteria for the commissioners to decide.

What a hypocrite.

Because if she applied that criteria to the CRC Scam, it would have been dead years ago... in fact, if she was all that concerned about the will of the people, she wouldn't even have put herself out there for the job.

Meanwhile, what about Temple Lentz?

I wouldn't want her to run an elevator for me, you understand, but her name was removed from consideration because she had the guts to admit up front what Barnes and Parker lied about: that they were both going to run for the job.

The dems kicked Lentz to the curb when she had the guts to tell them she only wanted the job to make a few bucks or whatever.

Boy, did Parker and Barnes screw the dems, or what?

Meanwhile, sit back, relax and enjoy the heights of hypocrisy that Parker and most democrats around here are known for: situational ethics being the order of the day.

Democratian continues democrat-slate endorsements.

.
As mentioned time and again, the leftist hacks at the Democratian only endorsed their fringe-left buddies for election in open seats in 2008 and so far, for 2010.

Tony "Union thug" Golik is no exception. Golik, now the subject of a bar complaint investigation for ethical concerns over his mishandling of and use of the Storro case as a campaign prop, is also a union president.

Thus, the "impressive list of endorsements" the rag babbles about is primarily based on unions endorsing a union president. Does the despicable cancer on our local society mention that?

Of course not. "Inconvenient Truths" like that are worthy of mention, because after all, you the reader are incapable of thinking for yourself so why cloud your considerations with full disclosure?

Democrats endorsing democrats. Union thugs, who have sacrificed so little while the rest of us sacrifice so much to keep their outrageous pay checks coming, endorsing a fellow union thug.

The rest of this trash about Golik is smoke and mirrors. Contrary to the rag's endorsement, Golik's use of the Storro case for self-aggrandizement and political purposes only makes him worthy of our contempt... as does the fawning, cloying political ads masquerading as news coverage of this case, where Golik wastes our time, effort and money prosecuting someone perfectly capable of being prosecuted by someone besides a "major crimes" prosecutor.

The rag, of course, doesn't care. Golik is the prototypical, fringe left union hack... democrat.

And to the rag, as the democrat, Golik was the choice from the beginning. Everything else is a justification of that pre-ordained choice, just like the rag's bridge position was their choice from the beginning on the loot rail/bridge project, followed by frequently untrue, inaccurate and outright false coverage designed with one purpose in mind: to support their desire to replace the I-5 Bridge.

This endorsement is no different. Because, I've got to ask myself: when was the last time Art Curtis was in a court room... prosecuting anyone?

The Democratian's endorsement is a lie. It actually takes an administrator with all kinds of experience to be a county prosecutor. And Golik is wholly unqualified for the job.

The Parker endorsement just continues the riff. Sherry Parker has engaged in outright contempt for election law with her completely illegal campaign signs (resembling DOT transportation signs in direct violation of campaign law) and her contempt for the law shows her to be unfit for elective office, given her repeated violations and deliberate failure to follow the laws she is allegedly sworn to, and required to, uphold.

Weber is the obvious choice, if for no other reason then Parker's arrogance. The other reason is that, like Golik, Parker's campaign is financed by union dues... where just over half of the cash she's raised comes from, you guessed it, union donations.

I'm not surprised. The Democratian lacks even a pretense of fairness or a lack of bias. And they are certainly meeting my low level of expectations.

Gotta wonder: is Paul Montague, one of the chief shills for the CRC/Loot Rail Scam...

Working at the Chamber?

We all know Paul... he got fired from Identity Clark County after alienating the local universe with his efforts to jackhammer his project of lies and deceptions through and down our throats... aka the CRC/Loot Rail scam.

I'd heard he'd landed at fellow CRC Liar Kelly Parker's outfit... honor among thieves and all that rot(And how's that stretch as county commissioner working out for you, eh, Ms. Parker?  I heard you were paqcked and ready to go.  EVER so sorry to see you disappointed...) but when you head on over there and check out the "staff" page, why, there's no Montague to be found.

Yet,, when you check this clown out in the PDC's for political donations... what do you find?

Look who Montague's employer is:  "VANC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE."

You don't say.

Yeah, yeah... I know he's trying to get his hate-PAC together... the other two clowns are begging GOP types to join in that exercise in mental masturbation that's raised a grand total of... $100... all of it from Montague himself.

But meanwhile, how is he paying the bills?  And if he's working for fellow CRC Scammer Parker, why ain't his name on the letterhead.... HHHmmmmm????

Vancouver Chamber of Horrors gets it right between the eyes on the CRC scam.

As the lies become clearer, more and more people are taking notice that the CRC IS a scam... a lie... a theft of time, effort, energy and MASSES of money...

Giving credit where due, the local democratian sucked it up and actually printed this.

The local downtown mafia has been lying for years about the support of this scam.  Now, the truth has come out, and the Chamber of Horrors?  They continue to lie:
But at least one chamber official said her group sees no point in state lawmakers stalling for time on the project proposed to relieve a regional chokepoint for thousands of Interstate 5 commuters and freight traffic hauling some $40 billion in goods annually.
"The point of view the chamber has taken since 2008, long term, is if we stop now and kill the bridge, we've not really answered our problem or found the solution," said Kelly Parker, the chamber's executive director. "We've just kicked the can further down the road."
The self-evident idiocy of Parker's babble is that the CRC/TriMet bail out plan, which enriches a few special interests at the expense of hundreds of thousands of us... all without asking, of course, is that the scam Parker is babbling about doesn't "answer our problem" or SOLVE ANYTHING.

Scum.

Again, props  to the Columbian for printing this.  Now, if they'd only get around to doing a story on the Oregon Supreme Court decision that lays out the lies in detail....

Some downtown Vancouver merchants: Stop CRC

At least 50 sign letter to lawmakers; their worries include light rail, timeline

A group of downtown Vancouver business owners has launched its own opposition to the Columbia River Crossing in a letter that asks lawmakers from both sides of the waterway to deny project funding.
The undated letter, signed by representatives of more than 50 downtown businesses and accompanied by the website stopcrc.com, contains a list of 10 reasons signers want funding declined for the $3.5 billion project to replace the Interstate 5 Bridge.
The first listed reason is that the project, which calls for rebuilding freeway interchanges on both sides of the Columbia River and extending light rail to Clark College, "has a poor track record" of dragging out for years and going over budget.
The proposed project's drawn-out history makes some business owners feel vulnerable to customer accessibility issues that could hurt their sales during a lengthy construction project, said Tim Erickson, owner of Block & Olson Glass, which makes glass repairs at 205 E. 15th St.
So far, CRC project leaders have been unable to provide more than a vague timeline for the project's start because they must first get state and federal funding in place, starting with whatever each state contributes. Project leaders have said they also will rely on tolling as a third source of funding.
Other downtown merchants who signed the petition foresee their businesses losing parking to the project's proposed light-rail route, planned to circulate through the downtown core via Washington and Broadway streets and head east to Clark College on East 17th Street.
"My shop is within a half block of the light rail," Erickson said. "I'm extremely worried about business."
Although the letter and its signatures were sent to legislators in both states, it was timed primarily to coincide with a public hearing in Oregon, said Mark Dodd, a Vancouver resident and political activist who is against the CRC project. He said some members of the StopCRC group attended the hearing in Oregon. Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, recently informed a Clark County business delegation about the letter and is generally spreading the word about downtown business opponents of the CRC. Benton is vice chairman of the Senate transportation committee.

The commissioner selection.

Wow.  So much hatred on the left.

1.  It won't be Pridemore.

It's idiotic to pay a loser like that the big bucks just so he can take a leave of absence from his Oly job and campaign.

Do us all a favor, Craig: stay in Olympia.

2.  So, chose between Parker and Barnes.

Parker would be a total pipeline to the downtown mafia that owns her like the 13th Amendment was never adopted.  She's just doing this to plus up her resume'.  Lying about the parks and the bridge though, did nothing to help her, nor did her smarmy superiority.

I don't think it was an act, however: anyone who lies as much as as long as she did about the CRC Scam does it not as an act, but because it's second nature.

Barnes is as dumb as a plank fence, and he lies like a rug (No, Ed, you did NOT "help Rodney Tom in his first election."  Tom was first elected as a REPUBLICAN.  And ol' Eddie would dive into an exploding volcano before he's help a Republican do ANYTHING.)  Barnes doesn't give a damn WHAT the people want: he's totally in the tank for the "I only speak for me" school of thought... but so is Parker.

None of them want to cancel that idiotic and likely unconstitutional TriMet contract idiocy.

Still, Barnes doesn't have a clue and because he's not all that bright, going down there and pounding him like a nail would actually be a hoot.

I say: pick Barnes.

The Democratian's institutionalized double standard.

.
As we continue to wait for the actual science of journalism to rear its ugly head in the confines of the Democratian, we note their institutional double standard: once these clowns endorse you, credible allegations of axe murder could take place and they'd bury them.

Nothing's been proven in court, but the rag has done repeated stories on Bittner and had no difficulty splashing the story concerning Hedrick.

But now, we have three democrats running for office who have been endorsed by the Democratian who have had credible allegations of breaking the law, prosecutorial misconduct or stupidly failing to vote for the entirety of their life.... and does the rag withdraw their endorsement of these clowns?

Nope. Because they're democrats and the rag is a left-wing propaganda swindle sheet.

Of course, that makes their endorsements worth even less, but they obviously don't care down in Pravda Central.

First, we have the long list of credible allegations against Tony Golik, leftist union thug running for prosecutor, wherein it seems he views the law and court proceedures as a series of suggestions to be ignored whenever he feels like it. He's already proven with his politically motivated, moronic involvement in the Storro case that he will step on any number of bodies to get elected.

The allegations, detailed below, are serious and call into question Golik's continued practice of the law.

The rag knows this, of course, but because they "like" Golik, they're not going to do anything to tell the people voting about Golik's abuse and manipulation of the system he's alleged to protect... and certainly, they're not going to let you know that Golik's handling of a case resulted in a woman's rape and kidnapping.

Sherry Parker has literally been violating campaign laws for years. Her campaign signs are illegal in that they resemble DOT road signs, a fact that has been repeatedly brought to her attention over that time and a fact that she continues to ignore. (Note below, a fellow thug setting up one of the many illegal Parker signs... see the IBEW 48 decal?)

The rag also knows this. The result?

Because they "like" Parker, they endorse another fellow leftist thug and remain essentially silent about her disrespect for the law.

Janet Seekins is a piece of work. She's never voted in her LIFE, and what does the rag do about it?

Bury it. You see, it's because they "like" her and they hate her opponent.

And I can tell you from experience: people in the Democratian can get stupid when they hate you.

Right, Lou?

Had any of these three stooges been Republican; had any of these three not been endorsed; had any of these three not been "liked," they would have been treated like Hedrick, or Bittner, or Ted Stevens or any number of others they don't politically support.

In Honor of Martin Luther King's Birthday.

Dr. Martin Luther King: great American... and, dare I say, a Republican?

Democrat president Lyndon Johnson... not so much?
"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference... I'll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years".

In Flawed Giant, Johnson biographer Robert Dallek writes that Johnson explained his decision to nominate Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court rather than a less famous black judge by saying, “when I appoint a nigger to the bench, I want everybody to know he’s a nigger.”

According to Caro, Robert Parker, Johnson’s sometime chauffer, described in his memoir Capitol Hill in Black and White a moment when Johnson asked Parker whether he’d prefer to be referred to by his name rather than “boy,” “nigger” or “chief.” When Parker said he would, Johnson grew angry and said, “As long as you are black, and you’re gonna be black till the day you die, no one’s gonna call you by your goddamn name. So no matter what you are called, nigger, you just let it roll off your back like water, and you’ll make it. Just pretend you’re a goddamn piece of furniture."
I mention this because our local white bread democrats lionize the man, posting this sort of thing:

Except for wasting hundreds of billions, that "phony war" has availed us nothing.

Meanwhile, I wonder what we'd be hearing if a Republican... say, an Eisenhower or a Bush... had said the quotes I provided above?

Democratians (And the candidates) whine about the commissioner questionaires.

This is something of an oddity, to be sure.

First, the leftist nutjobs are pissed off because the remaining commissioners... you know, those who stayed behind because they haven't been paid off for screwing the people of Clark County like Stuart screwed us?  Those guys?  Are hiring a replacement since Steve didn't see fit to do his duty... which was to remain until the completion of his term in office, and who then left his county... and those unfortunates who mistakenly voted for him... in his rear view mirror.

Secondly, the leftist nutjobs are pissed off because the remaining commissioners are taking THEIR time to make the decision.  Never mind that THEIR time is specifically authorized in that minor-annoyance-when-they-want-it-to-be state constitution: they want what they want when they want it.

Thirdly, the leftist nutjobs are pissed off that the remaining commissioners provided 12 specific questions, in writing, for the candidates to replace Steve "I only speak for Steve" Stuart.  Those whining, sniveling punks and their local PR arm seem to believe that they should be above all that.  They didn't happen to like the questions, since their union/special interest owners didn't come up with them.

Fourth, of course, if these slime find the process too arduous, they can always withdraw their names from the list.

Oddly, the rag seems to think that the answers to the questions at issue are not nearly as important as what these morons happen to feel about the questions.

Imagine, dear reader:  YOU are applying for a job that has a strenuous interview process.  And before the decision to hire is made, you not only get the opportunity to trash those who will make then hiring decision, you are, in fact, invited to do so by the local substitute of a daily paper... and you're moronic enough to take it.

Both the local leftists and their public relations arm have done all they possibly can to make us suffer.  For years.

Lies... deceit... arrogance... division.  An attempted aura of innate superiority over all wise enough to disagree with them.  No humility in their massive defeats, no introspection and no concern over what's best for the people over what's best for them... the people be damned.

Well, the people ain't thrilled about that.

Meanwhile, the answers to the questions merely serve to reinforce my suggestion that Ed Barnes get the gig.

There are many reasons why I believe that supercilious son of a bitch should get the gig, not the least of which is that I will enjoy a weekly pilgrimage down to the commission chamber to pound his dumb ass like a drum... precisely like he has the other two commissioners with a seeming immunity.

I'll love to see what he does while he's sitting there and I'm verbally beating him to a pulp.

But I do give him props for his honesty, if not his stupidity and contempt for the people of Clark County: while he joins with Steve "screw what the people want" Stuart, he at least makes his stupidity and disdain for the people public with his answers obvious:  for example, he makes no bones about having screwed the people of Clark County with the idiotic and unconstitutional TriMet eminent domain contract:
4. TriMet contract:
The C-Tran Board voted to sign the TriMet contract that makes TriMet the sole authority over light rail in Clark County.  It requires C-Tran to use eminent domain authority to meet TriMet’s property demands and triggers a $5 million liquidated damages claim if C-Tran does not fully submit to TriMet’s requirements.

As a county commissioner CTran Board member, do you support that dormant contract or would you vote to cancel it?

Answer:

I would support the Tri‐Met contract for eminent domain authority.
While the answer shows a level of ineffective stupidity that is difficult to quantify, it's out there for all too see.

And then, he continues to crap on the will of the voters with this idiocy:
5. CRC Light Rail Tolling Project:
After spending $200 million on the failed CRC project, and after the majority of citizens in a county‐wide advisory vote opposes all light rail projects unless they voted to approve it, would you still support bringing Portland light rail to Clark County unless the voters Clark County first approved it?
Answer:
According to the Cowlitz County Court and State of Washington Attorney General,  the county vote is meaningless on a Federal Highway project‐CRC.  Senator Rivers,  Senator Pike, Senator Benton and Senate coalition killed the CRC project.
While I'm sure that Rep. Pike enjoys the idea of Barnes' ignorant promotion as much as she enjoys the credit for helping to kill this monstrosity, the fact is that she is not a Senator.  But Barnes IS ignorant, and his appointment would focus on that ignorance like a laser beam, and make the democrats responsible for even placing that ignorant twit on the list to the commissioners in the first place, proving that, once again, any idiot can be a democrat.

It takes a genuinely arrogant prick to disregard the will of the people with such a cavalier, "I am superior" attitude.

And then, he goes on to nail the fringe left coffin shut:
6. Bus Rapid Transit:
Voters in a countywide advisory vote opposed any Bus Rapid Transit project unless they first voted to approve it.  Voters also opposed sales tax hike to fund Bus Rapid Transit in the November 2012 Proposition One General Election after C-Tran made a commitment not to spend voter approved taxes on BRT against the will of the voters.
As a county commissioner C-Tran Board member, would you vote to build Bus Rapid Transit anyway or would you require voter approval as a condition of  approval?

Answer:

No because County Commissioners were elected to do their job which would not require them to have public vote.[sic]
It takes a rare, special kind of stupid for an elected official to completely ignore the expressed will of the electorate.  All three of these morons are possessed of it, but Barnes is the only one brave enough... or stupid enough... to admit it.

Oddly, the democratian neglected to mention these idiotic answers on Barnes part with any specificity.  The question of whether or not a "public vote" is required begs the issue: one has been taken place and the people have spoken.  The positions of these fringe-left idiots have been thoroughly repudiated.  And none of them acknowledge that, meaning that none of them should be appointed to anything... or elected to anything.

This isn't the Soviet.  This isn't "democratic centralism" where a few make the decisions for everyone else and no one else has any say.

The fact is that to varying degrees, the other two fringe-left nutters on this list agree with Barnes' sharing his arrogance and complete lack of concern over the will of the voters of this county.

The difference?

Barnes' fringe-left, democrat stupidity is obvious.  His hatred for democracy and the will of the people he would govern?  Plain as the nose on his face.

Besides making democrats the laughing stock, his appointment would provide an example of democrat party governance that would become the stuff of legends.

Parker, on the other hand, who was so sure she had the appointment that she had intended to resign from the Chamber of Horrors last week to take it (How'd that work out for you?) had no intention of even bothering to answer.  From the rag:
In Love Parker’s response to a query about whether she’d support a “dormant” contract allowing C-Tran to cede “eminent domain” authority to TriMet, she challenged whether such a question was worth mulling.
“I think this issue is as dead as the CRC Bridge,” she wrote. “We must carefully prioritize our time and energy into issues and projects that are ‘in play’. The CRC project is a dead project, and I believe the community wants us to move on.”
Parker, of course, was one of the scum whining the loudest in favor of the CRC Scam.  Years of lies.  Years of deceit.  Years of trampling on the will of the people.

She wants to "move on" because frankly, she got her butt handed to her in a basket, and she's sick of being reminded of the largest political defeat in local history.

It's NOT "dead" of course, and local democrats will be wearing the taint of their stupidity for decades.  But that Parker refused to answer the question... or any question... put to her as a part of this process shows how absolutely unsuitable for elective office she not only is... but ever WILL be.

It doesn't matter who the commissioners select in the eyes of the fringe-left nutters running the democrats around here or that simple idiot running the newspaper: they'll be no less hated.

Democrats will whine like the little punks they are: Lefty Lou will continue to beat the dead horse that he set up, and this November, the people of this county will thoroughly repudiate the lot of them outside the downtown Kollective.
