The Administration of Hypocrite Obama.

.
Look, I knew when this guy was running that he was the political version of the Platte River: a mile wide and an inch deep. No experience, no vision, no clue. The politically naive that bought into this community organizing casket salesman's shtick seem to be coming to terms with the fact that he has no idea what he's doing.

In our leaders, not having a clue isn't a particularly recent phenomena. Knowing AHEAD of time that they won't have a clue, and electing them ANYWAY? THAT is just bizarre. And now, generations will suffer because of the gullible voters who put this clown into office.

And while we can forgive stupid.... maybe... we cannot forgive lies and hypocrisy.

We are, unfortunately, stuck with a leader who is a liar. He has lied about almost every aspect of his campaign, and all the videos/newspaper articles prove it.

Now, it's easy to say that, well, he was young, he didn't know the realities that would confront him. But to me, that's just a subset of electing a clueless idiot to, perhaps, the most important job on the face of the planet.

The left's hypocrisy, a given in the best of times, is a stench of mythic proportions. Except for a few anarchist/far left socialists, none of these clowns are applying the same criteria to ol' Hopey Changey as they did to Mr. Bush.

I can understand that, to a certain extent. If these people were to hold Obama accountable to the same extent they held Bush, why.... their heads would explode.

Well, I do.

The results?

Books will be written about this man's lies and manipulation of people. Again, it's not that politicians don't lie... or manipulate.... many, if not most, do. But this man's lies and manipulations are so blatant and so obvious. His tin ear should get it's own monument on the Maqll in Washington DC. He will be single handedly responsible for the upcoming decimation of the democrats... because, for God's sake, if the American people haven't learned their lesson by now... we never will.

His most recent hypocritical idiocy?

A 3 year spending freeze.

REALLY? You REALLY want a THREE YEAR SPENDING FREEZE?

Why, Mr. President. That's right up there with no tax increases on the middle class... or not signing budgets with earmarks and/or pork.

Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice?

That's the same kind of spending freeze you campaigned AGAINST, right Mr. President?

And during the campaign, you never shut UP abut "no-bid contacts," did you?

Then how come you're doing them?

And the unfathomable idiocy of giving terrorists Miranda Warnings and putting them on trial in civil courts?

Why, you'd never do anything like THAT, would you? You COULDN'T be THAT much of a blithering moron.... could you?

Well, yes. You could. And since you KNOW how stupid an idea that is... we can't find ANYONE who will take responsibility for that decision... so guess what?

The buck stops with you.

Like I said, Mr. President. We can forgive stupid. But we cannot and will not forgive deliberate lies and deception. And that's YOU.

The next general election and the 2012 CANNOT get here fast enough.

Confusing motion with action: Obama and airport security.

.
Our president has brought himself a series of major problems.

His failures to secure our air travel, sending out that moron to tell us "the system worked..." and now all this talk about about new, intrusive (and no doubt, incredibly expensive) and in the case of the Crotchbomber, utterly useless airport scanners.

This is a CLASSIC bait and switch. It's the very definition of attempting to confuse the American population that they're REALLY doing something THIS time... and even though it's going to cost us MORE billions, they overlook that fact that had these scanners been in place.... had the Crotchbomber actually BEEN scanned with one of these...

.... it wouldn't have made any difference. It wouldn't have worked, anyway.

It hasn't been so long that I've forgotten one critical, post 9/11 fact: The hijackers did nothing before the attack started that was illegal in the sense that they carried illegal or otherwise prohibited items on board those aircraft.

Government under Bush felt that a huge response to the matter was necessary, however, so they embarked on a massive, incredibly wasteful program to increase federal employment (and federal unions) by an additional 70,000 or so federal employees.

The items they brought on board the aircraft were not prohibited at the time. They didn't "slip through" security. No one looked the other way.

The fact is that they were successful in large part because no one anticipated that 20 guys could hijack 4 aircraft and fly them into targets which would have resulted in the deaths of the hijackers as well as the passengers.

A fanatic willing to die in the name of their cause to complete their crime is the most dangerous of all. While not completely unknown in our society, we had relegated them to a Waco-like status, where adherents were nut jobs, incapable of the planning and coordination the 9/11 attacks actually required.

They were mostly successful because we were mostly unprepared. And no amount of federalizing 70,000 people would have made any damned difference even if that had been done BEFORE the hijacking.

But the White House (Bush) needed to do SOMETHING to keep the people from focusing on the systemic failure of our security system that allowed this to happen. So, this massive and ongoing waste of money was whipped up with democrat approval (obviously) and the GOP was too timid to point out what a waste it was, and how it wouldn't have made any difference in the outcome, anyway.

We made all these changes. And, we changed policies to keep the items used in the hijackings off our aircraft. And yet, even since then, we've had at least two attempts to destroy aircraft by passengers who made it through all this new-fangled security.

And now, what's the big push?

Why, it's implementing full-body scanners that seem to be capable of reading a woman's "tramp stamp" tattoo, but which would NOT have been capable of figuring out the Crotchbomber had actually had a bomb under his clothes or his junk, for that matter.

But oh, man... is our president responding.... or WHAT?

Are planned airport scanners just a scam?

New technology that Gordon Brown relies on for his response to the Christmas Day bomb attack has been tested – and found wanting

By Jane Merrick

The explosive device smuggled in the clothing of the Detroit bomb suspect would not have been detected by body-scanners set to be introduced in British airports, an expert on the technology warned last night.

The claim severely undermines Gordon Brown's focus on hi-tech scanners for airline passengers as part of his review into airport security after the attempted attack on Flight 253 on Christmas Day.

The Independent on Sunday has also heard authoritative claims that officials at the Department for Transport (DfT) and the Home Office have already tested the scanners and were not persuaded that they would work comprehensively against terrorist threats to aviation.

The claims triggered concern that the Prime Minister is over-playing the benefits of such scanners to give the impression he is taking tough action on terrorism.

And experts in the US said airport "pat-downs" – a method used in hundreds of airports worldwide – were ineffective and would not have stopped the suspect boarding the plane.

More:

So, yeah. Our "shout out" president is REALLY making changes (Now, anyway.)

The problem is that it's fairly clear that none of them will make any difference.

But then, he doesn't care if it does or not.

He only cares that you THINK it does.

Still feeling safer? So, leftists: where's your rage about Obama blowing our security?

.
You remember all that garbage about Bush and 9/11, right? Hell, it resulted in steller fellows like Charlie Sheen becoming a truther... kind of like following the footsteps of that amazing Van Jones character.

Well, guess what. We very nearly lost an aircraft and crew and God knows what else (where the wreckage may have fallen) when the Crotchbomber blew his genitalia off (Or fried them... or par-boiled them, or whatever) trying to take out a few hundred innocent Americans.

And guess what?

We knew.

Obama's intelligence people knew. The State Department knew. That hobbit that runs Homeland Security and who knows as much about the Homeland and Security as she does brain surgery had people who knew. She stupidly told us the "System worked." But she passed the Obama PC filter, so he hired political purity instead of security expertise.

It is a matter time until many, many Americans die under this moron's watch.

And you leftists sit silently by because Obama is your guy. Amazing how angry you clowns got when it was Bush. So why the silence now? Shouldn't the number one criteria be basic competency?

HHhhmmmmm?

Thoughts on the Parting of President Bush.

.
President Bush has been a disappointment to me in many respects. Obviously, his failure to keep the economy in check; his failure to override democrat efforts that lead to this meltdown, his moronic illegal alien amnesty program that cost him his base, his failure to blast the left for their continuing efforts to sell our troops out, his early strategic failure in Iraq.

These disappointments aside, I thank God every day that he was elected over the morons the left put up.

I have yet to make up my mind if I would have preferred Tweedle Dumb (Gore) or Tweedle Dumber (Kerry) over the messiah. The jury, as they say, is still out.

But at his worst, I would prefer a feared Mr. Bush over any of these three clowns.

And to that I say this: When it comes to the security of this country...

Four years from now, will we be able to say the same?

I'm about sick of Mr. Obama's BlackBerry obsession.

.
The President-Elect's obsession with his BlackBerry was cute, at first. Even understandable (I confess I own two: an 8830 T-Mobile and a Storm.) since they take some learning and subsequently, some skill to run all the features.

But enough is enough.

There is no excuse, save selfish self-centeredness, for Mr. Obama to demand that he be allowed to continue using his.

The critical element is this paragraph:
"The moment it becomes known that Barack Obama uses his BlackBerry, you know that a significant share of Russia's signal intelligence and China's signal intelligence and cyberintelligence budgets will be targeted to break it," said Entner, an analyst with market researcher Nielsen in Boston.
Once informed of that (and you know he has been informed of that) our President-Elect SHOULD have put his childish obsession aside, AND DONE WHAT THE SECRET SERVICE HAS ORDERED HIM TO DO.

Or is their some reason you believe your comfort level with your toy should exceed National Security concerns, Mr. President-Elect?

Not even sworn in, I'm becoming sick of our President-Elect acting like a spoiled rotten kid.

His idiotic desire to "escape the White House fishbowl" is something, perhaps, he should have considered BEFORE HE RAN FOR THE OFFICE.
"It's just one tool among a number of tools that I'm trying to use, to break out of the bubble, to make sure that people can still reach me," he said.
I'm sure that, in-between the "I-hate-my-country" rants of the Reverend Wright, some reference must have been made to the aspect of biblical childishness:
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, thought like a child, and reasoned
like a child. When I became a man, I gave up my childish ways.

1Corinthians 13:11
Apparently, having turned a deaf ear to Mr. Wright's anti-American screeds, he also avoided any other impartation of this aspect of "believing."

I particularly like this aspect of his excuse:
"If I'm doing something stupid, somebody in Chicago can send me an email and say, 'What are you doing?'
It's reasonably clear at this point that Mr. Obama, should he continue to stamp his widdle footsie to put our security at risk, will be posessed of the first BlackBerry to blow itself to pieces under the strain of such an assignment.

His disastrous economic policies, indebting this Nation for generations; his screwing with the Military to pay back his supporters at the risk of degrading mission capability; his ability to excuse criminal activity (taxes and hiring illegal's for housework) on the part of his Treasury nominee; his choice of a bureaucrat to run our Intelligence system; his "I-am-Lincoln" coronation as The One... and now this idiocy with a fricking BlackBerry fetish.

Is there any doubt that Putin is licking his chops?

Obama refuses to surrender Blackberry

Despite legal and security hurdles, president-elect Barack Obama says he has a plan to retain his beloved Blackberry once he moves into the White House next week.

Interviewed by CNN Friday, Obama said the smartphone was among the tools that he would use to stay in touch with real Americans and avoid becoming trapped inside the presidential "bubble."

"I think we're going to be able to hang on to one of these. My working assumption, and this is not new, is that anything I write on an email could end up being on CNN," he said.

"So I make sure to think before I press 'send'," he said of his Blackberry, which was an ever-present fixture on his belt or in his hand on the campaign trail.

Obama did not divulge just how he will overcome legal constraints, given the requirement of the post-Watergate Presidential Records Act of 1978 to keep a record of every White House communication.

Nor did he say how he would persuade his Secret Service protectors that the Blackberry does not pose a security risk, for instance if it is hacked over the air.

But Obama, who succeeds the unpopular George W. Bush on Tuesday, said the phone was a valuable part of a wider strategy to escape the White House fishbowl.

"It's just one tool among a number of tools that I'm trying to use, to break out of the bubble, to make sure that people can still reach me," he said.
