Marc Boldt's second award this election cycle: worst robo call in local political history.

(FULL DISCLOSURE: I freely admit that I am totally opposed to Marc Boldt's election this time, just as I was last time, since he's completely sold out to the left; forgotten/ignored GOP principles, supports the CRC scam in it's entirety and wants to hang tolls around our neck for the next several decades that would destroy a great deal of small business in Clark County as a result.

NO candidate or campaign or anyone involved or in any way concerned with any candidate or campaign was aware of or approved or had input into this post.

Further, Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house, 1994 - 2000.)

Having aced the award for the worst entry in local political history in the voter's pamphlet, Boldt reached new heights by spewing out THE worst robo call ever, also in local political history.

Sad.

Pathetic.

Whiny little punk on the playground.

Like the script was written by a sniveling C3G2 8th grade girl... or Jim Mains... which is, after all, the same thing.

Hear it for yourself:

This sorry effort is even worse than Boldt's LAST robo call, where he lied to everyone about the 2011 CTran tax jack that Carolyn Crain lied about for him a few weeks back:

Crain, in a full on hate mode against the local GOP because they refused to help her political suicide in the 49th, actually lied through her teeth about what Marc Boldt said in his "please vote to raise taxes so we won't cut services" scam... when the tax increase was designed to pay for that horrific waste of money known as the BRT.

Meanwhile, what makes this robo-call so pathetic is that first, it's whining.  If you listen to it, it's the sound of abject desperation.

It's around 70 words or so... that say absolutely nothing.  And how weird is that?

The call claims "special interests are lying..." but then fails to point out a single "lie."

And the biggest joke of all is calling Boldt a "conservative."

Here's a clue: "Conservatives" don't jack your taxes for 6 straight years.

"Conservatives" don't vote to take your weapons away from you in the event of a county or state declared emergency, a blatantly unconstitutional vote.

"Conservatives" don't support the CRC Scam with it's wasted-on-Boldt's-watch $200 million while ignoring the please of the people he governed to stop that rip off.

"Conservatives" don't ignore the law by texting while driving and providing photographic proof of it in a fit of pique.

And is this where I point out that I don't believe Boldt is fit to be elected to ANY office... and I am damned sure not a "special interests"

Let's go over it, word for word.

"Are you tied of all the lies being spread about County Chair Candidate Marc Boldt?"

Wouldn't know.  What lies are those, exactly?  You clowns don't say.

"These extremists are desperate."

Really?  Then who's the one coming out with the whiny, shrill robo-call that sounded like a playground punk wrote it?  And is everyone smart enough to oppose Boldt an "extremist?"

"And feeling the pressure..."

What pressure?  No one has cut his own throat on the campaign more than Boldt himself; admitting that he wants to resurrect the CRC Scam was not his smartest move.

"...because Marc Boldt is a good man..."

He obviously hasn't shown whoever this is his texts to me... and others... where he's been a punk.

"...with genuine conservative values..."

Which explains perfectly why the uber fringe-left Young Democrats endorsed him.  You know... because he's such a conservative.

"He knows what it's like to work hard for a living..."

So do I.  So do a lot of people.  So what?

"... and he wants to heal out county and get us back on the right path..."

Oddly, we were certainly on the WRONG path when he was calling the shots.  That why we threw his ass out of office.

I, for one, don't see anything wrong with the path we're on.  By just about every measure, this county is becoming healthier by the minute as we recover from the 8 years Boldt spent screwing us up.

"Don't believe the lies the special interests are spreading..."

Like the special interests who owned Boldt so that he'd ignore us while he was in office?

And what lies, exactly, is this ape babbling about?

What makes this call so worthless is a number of things.

The witch doing the voice sounds strident and angry.  Strident and angry don't get you elected.

Second, since this was a plea... as opposed to a reason... to vote for Boldt, HE should have made the call.

Thirdly, just calling everyone smart enough to oppose your election "liars" sounds like vintage Carolyn Crain... whether it is or not... with a mishmash of Jim Mains thrown in.

And who knew that Mains wanted Boldt to lose... and that he'd be so helpful in making that happen?

Here's the thing: a quick look at Boldt's PDC's prove he's no "conservative;" he's supported by leftist nutters like Jack Burkman, Tim "The Liar" Leavitt, Pat Campbell (Also thrown out of office in the Vancouver City Council primary a few years back) Betty Sue Morris, Nutjob and chief C3G2 hater Melissa Smith, Judie Stanton, Joe Tanner, SW WA Electricians PAC, Rory Bowman, Michelle Wollert to name a few.

When was the last time ANY of these leftists EVER supported a "conservative?"

Never.

And that's what's problematic.

The Marc Boldt I worked for WAS a conservative.  This version has been completely co-opted by the left.  The left is financing him as much as they are the other democrat in the race, and they're NOT doing that because Boldt is a conservative.

Why he has to lie about that is unfathomable.

So, at this point, no matter how it turns out, Boldt's won the worst robo call award AND the worst voter pamphlet statement.

If lying gets you in... then he'll be elected for life.
