Lew is a much better writer than I. I use a jackhammer, he uses much more finesse. However, this illustrative post by Lew lays bare the true hypocrisy of those attacking Commissioners Madore and Mielke.

They'll likely claim that defending Brent Boger is somehow "different." Their situational ethics is legendary as it is, but none of those named here can, with a straight face, now abrogate their own words.
These assaults are now being perpetrated by the SAME paper against someone else... someone who Pridemore refers to as being "entitled to at least a basic, human level of respect."
And, based on their own attacks against Madore and Mielke as well as their own support of the attacks of others, these hypocrites don't believe David Madore is entitled to those simple tenets either.

Newspaper Bullies and Hypocrites
By now we all are aware of Lazy C editor Lefty Lou Brancaccio’s bullying and demeaning of those he despises every week in his so called editorials.
But this sort of over the top bullying from him is not something new, he’s done it many times before.
In fact, this blog called him on it back in November 2010 when a ‘Moderate’ Republican, the very thing he also calls for from Republicans, was the target of his vitriol over announcing he had cancelled his subscription: Lou Brancaccio and Chicago Bullying Tactics?
Chicago style thuggery is not new with Lefty, as we see, but what is different now is seeing that back then, some of the Democrats now lauding ol’ Lefty for his editorial assaults against Sen. Don Benton, and County Commissioners Madore and Mielke weren’t all that impressed with him. (Click to enlarge)
Note Nelson Holmberg's comment... The same Nelson Holmberg who's joined with his fellow fringe-leftists in condemning Madore and Mielke and supporting the very same attacks he then condemned.
With Democrats placing all hopes in former State Senator Craig Pridemore, isn’t it strange that with Lou’s vastly increased hatefest, he no longer seems to feel Brancaccio is out of line.
Same with former County Commissioner Betty Sue Morris. She might not have ever liked him back then, but you couldn’t tell by her joining in the denigrating of two County Commissioners today.
It is little wonder Clark County is in such a mess with the so called newspaper of record being little more than a mouthpiece instead of an objective media source.

Let me guess, from these fringe leftists it will be, "Comments? What comments? We don't see no comments."
But it does show why our county is so screwed up as they fight every effort to correct it.
