"You will never be the best version of yourself if you allow other people to convince you, that you can't be better because of your skin color, because of your sexual identity, because of the community you came from... you must resist those narratives at all costs if you truly want to be successful in America." - Charley Kirk

More of the Columbian’s stupidity: try living on food stamps this month.
As much as the Left hates that we know this part of the issue, the entire point of the program was to supplement, or add to, the amount of money being spent on food.
There is meaning to the phrase “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.” It does not mean “replacement of your food expense dollars.”
As typical fringe-left nutters, whoever printed this idiotic idea that we should “try living on food stamps this month” is, stunningly enough, considering it’s the democratian, too ignorant to know what the program is about.
Yes, their program is being cut $36 a month. For many families, but certainly not all, $36 a month is not going to injure them in the least. For example, those of you who smoke might consider stopping. Those of you who drink, might consider stopping. Those of you who have cable TV might consider getting rid of it. Those of you who have Internet, perhaps you should consider getting rid of that as well. Because those are all lifestyle choices that you have control over… But you expect us, in so many instances, to pay for your decisions.
I don’t want to want to pay for any of it. That fringe left outfits that blow our money like Share and in some instances the Clark County Food Bank want to have this little social experiment goes to the heart of the matter: it is not our job to feed everyone. And this is from someone who volunteers every month for a local food bank.
Having been homeless for three years myself, and having had to go without myself, I fully understand what it is to be hungry. Further, as a product of the welfare state, I fully understand what it is to be poor, and in poverty. But people typically make their own choices. And in this instance?
Are they doing everything they can to avoid having to be on this program altogether?
And if the democratian expects to force us to suffer pangs of guilt because finally, somewhere, somebody in government decided that we are in fact spending way too much on something, (which I actually tend to refer to as “progress”), then they’re looking at the wrong place in the dictionary.
Chapter 343 of "Lefty Lou's Madore jihad!"
Years ago, contrary to Lefty Lou’s protestations, this cancer on our community dropped any pretense of even-handedness or lack of leftist bias.
In today’s anti-Madoere rant, Lefty Lou explains his rank hypocrisy on the issue of freeholders. Back when leftists were running the show, Brancaccio and his ilk were all about keeping us from having a more direct voice in government, and they did all they could to trash the very idea of freeholder elections to a charter County.
So today, Brancaccio tries to explain his hypocrisy by lying.
This isn’t rocket science: from the almost Frankensteinian village effort cooked up between Steve “Slimeball” Stuart and Lefty Lou, they’ve done everything from attempting to storm the Bastille of the County building with torches and pitchforks, to ginning up some fake reasons that are nowhere near sufficient to start a recall… Using the demonization of Don Benton as their excuse.
Among other blithering idiocies that Lefty Lou spewed in his column today was this nonsense:
And that Lefty Lou would even bring up the possibility of something like this goes to the heart of the matter: the man has a psychotic hatred of David Madore. That’s what’s driving all of this; anything other than that is merely smoke and mirrors, eyewash designed the back-fill a justification for doing the unjustifiable.
It’s not unlike his idiotic support of the CRC scam… Or of the ballpark rip off… Or so many other things that it would have been or are more are harmful to this community. This moron doesn’t get his own way… So what is he do?
He throws a hissy fit and attempts to use his ever-weakening newspaper as some sort of a 2x4, to hit somebody upside the head with.
So what’s the excuse for his rabid effort to try and undo an election that he and his ilk lost?
Let me help you with that Lefty... here's the "why": it’s because you’re a fringe-left, megalomaniacal asshole.
At least this serves as an acknowledgment of Brancaccio’s hatred of Madore. And I suppose there is at least some minor element of integrity in admitting it.
It would save us all a great deal of time, though, if he would just come right out and say it in so many words, instead of… How did he put it?
And then of course, knowing how much trouble Topper is in, he does some last-minute in-kind contribution campaigning for her, by babbling this nonsense.
The most obvious lie of the bundle above is that Brancaccio “likes both of them.”
Of those running for office that could be replaced, the only one that he’s writing about on this last column before the election is the one who opposes his CRC Scam. So Lefty Lou’s all about a “fresh perspective.”
In reality what he’s talking about is silencing one of the leading local voices within the city against his CRC Scam. He’s trying to sugarcoat it by talking nonsense concerning a “fresh perspective,” when in reality what he’s trying to do is just add another pro-CRC scamming lackey to the Amen Choir that is most of the city Council.
So it’s not about a “fresh perspective.” It is instead about silencing the city CRC critic.
Where Lefty Lou is such an abysmal failure is that he’s just not man enough to admit it. Why not just say so?
The choices are clear between Stewart and Topper; you can get somebody who speaks for the people in Stewart, or you can get somebody who speaks for the Downtown Mafia in Topper. Certainly being supported by a psycho like Lefty Lou isn't a reason to be voted for… In fact it’s definitely a reason to be voted against.
In the end, this is one of those rare occasions in the last 20 odd years, where I really have no idea what the outcome is going to be.
Lefty Lou’s incessant yammering in his attempt to demonize Madore may have been overplayed. It certainly has become just part of the white noise of the background, since he doesn’t change much of what he writes week after week, and he babbles the same things over and over and over again. One result of that more than likely is the up to now terribly depressed turnout of voters… Far below that of the last off-year election in 2011.
His effort to gin up a bogus recall campaign, having failed; his effort to get Don Benton fired by applying what he perceives to be his political pressure with a newspaper that really has no throw weight to provide any also failed... his utter and complete failure to EVER mention anything positive... that's what his words so valueless.
We have essentially, two constants in this election.
The first one: that the vast majority of the people of this County hate the CRC and are not likely to support those who have been trying to rip them off over it. Essentially, I believe that much of that also includes the citizens in the city of Vancouver… Many of whom live to the east of 205 and frankly are sickened by what their City Council is doing.
The second is the fringe-left hatred of Republican control of anything… It remains to be seen how successful, if it’s been successful at all, Brancaccio’s efforts at demonizing Madore have become. At the end of the day, though, most people are viewing this, I believe, as a political ploy… And recognize that over the years, Lefty Lou’s proven himself incapable of speaking for the people as opposed to speaking for his agenda and his fellow special interests… So when he babbles something like:
Of course, Lefty Lou and is fringe left ilk are “demanding” a change… They hate the fact that Republicans control the commission for the first time, perhaps ever. And as a result, there’s nothing that can be done by the commission, save slavishly following along with their agenda, that would ever meet with Lefty Lou’s approval.
And that’s the rank hypocrisy of the situation. Lefty Lou only wants people to have a voice when he thinks he can mold it into what he wants. Otherwise, he would have supported the freeholder movement before he lost democrat control of the commission.. which is also why this scumbag wants everyone to vote "no" on the advisory votes as a rather idiotic protest against allowing us ANY voice.
So when things aren’t going your way, what do you do about it? Well, you try and find a way to undo it. And that’s the hypocrisy of all of this.
There’s only one difference between the County commission during that time, when Lefty Lou and his despicable rag and the democrat majority on the Council did all they could to keep the freeholder movement from taking off and now:
Republican David Madore defeated democrat Marc Boldt.
Here’s the thing: Lefty Lou isn’t blessed with any great superior knowledge or analytical skill. He’s nobody special. He’s just a guy with an agenda, except he’s got a bigger bullhorn… And from a bigger bullhorn frequently comes bigger amounts of bull excrement.
His babble this morning… Is a prime example of that.
It's the M and M boys!No one’s been “wiggling around the edges.” The fact is that with the loss of a Democrat majority of the County commission, and with the overwhelming victories of the two staunchest local anti-CRC Scammer candidates, the only way the democratian and its fellow leftists could possibly impact local County policy was to do everything they could to switch positions on the freeholder issue to undo the election and try and take over government.
Folks have been wiggling around the edges when it comes to why we’re suddenly so interested in opening up our county to the freeholder process.
So, for example, the freeholders could force all the county commissioners to wear clown masks. I’m not kidding! This should, I mean could, happen. This is a lie, of course: people of this County can no more vote for this kind of nonsense than Lefty Lou can actually hope to impact the outcome of an election. But when you’re delusional… Or, perhaps, off your meds, this is the kind of nonsense that immediately sprouts from the diseased mind.
Yes, the voters would have to ultimately approve anything the freeholders decide. But I’m thinking most of us would be OK with the clown mask thing.

So what’s the excuse for his rabid effort to try and undo an election that he and his ilk lost?
But back to the question I posed. Why freeholders now?Swell. And I think of Joseph Goebbels or Baghdad Bob when I think of Lefty Lou. See how that all works out?
Well, you can thank one guy: County Commissioner David Madore. Madore is half of the M&M boys who currently run the county. The other half is Commissioner Tom Mielke. Not sure why, but I think of Boss Hogg and his sidekick Rosco P. Coltrane when I think of the M&M boys.
“Wiggling around the edges?”And Lefty, by the way? Compared to the “goofy stuff” that you do, David Madore is a local version of Winston Churchill.
And then of course, knowing how much trouble Topper is in, he does some last-minute in-kind contribution campaigning for her, by babbling this nonsense.
Stewart/Topper
Hey, let’s talk Vancouver City Council. And let’s not dance around the point here. Councilor Jeanne Stewart should win her race against newcomer Alishia Topper. Stewart is the incumbent with strong name recognition. But I wouldn’t bet on it. Topper is a bright, enthusiastic, knowledgeable challenger running an aggressive campaign. It feels like Stewart is being out-hustled.One of the biggest problems Lefty Lou has is that he lies even when he doesn’t really need to. He just refuses to come out and tell the truth about his political leanings and his political support.
I like both of them. Still, the city might just be in need of a fresh perspective. And Topper would deliver that.
The most obvious lie of the bundle above is that Brancaccio “likes both of them.”
Of those running for office that could be replaced, the only one that he’s writing about on this last column before the election is the one who opposes his CRC Scam. So Lefty Lou’s all about a “fresh perspective.”

Looks like Tim “The Liar” Leavitt struck out tonight at the Veteran's fundraiser.
So there was a nice fundraiser tonight. You know the veterans outfit that Larry Smith runs that send
The Liar’s back pocket?
I’m very big on Veterans Affairs, and have a history with the American Legion that lasted a few years before the politics of that sickened me as well… But because of Smith’s involvement and the fact that he’s repeatedly sold out this entire community, including veterans; I don’t care that he was a colonel in the Army and had all those buttons, bows and badges… I want nothing to do with it.
But tonight, sources tell me, that one of the auction items was a lunch for two valued at up to $100 with our not so esteemed mayor of the Soviet of Vancouver.
So, the auctioneer starts off with a bid for $100 for a lunch (that I don’t believe anybody be able to keep down a fate with them anyway) with the US teams commissar of Vancouver.
No bid.
So the auctioneer lows, it lowers it to $75.
Frogs croak.
So the auctioneer lowers it again to $50.
Deafening silence.
So the auctioneer lowers it again to $25…
Crickets chirp.
Well, wouldn’t you know… Tom Mielke’s offering the same thing… A lunch for two and $100 limit.
Because they added Tom’s lunch to Leavitt’s…
It sold for $105.
So… what’s that say about the “The Liar?”
I know what it says to me; when a non-serving slimy REMF like “The Liar” can’t even get somebody to bid $25 for a lunch with that clown of up to $100 to raise money for veterans.
One has to wonder: what's it mean to you?
The Liar’s back pocket?

Remember all that idiocy about the GOP being in trouble because they allegedly “shut down” something called government?
andThe highlight of the poll says the following: “in Democratic districts, net income and approval is plummeted by 11 points, from +8 approval to +3 disapproval. And Republican districts, incumbent approval is gunned down by only four points.”
Exclusive of the fact that government was never “shut down” (while hundreds of thousands of so-called “nonessential” (why do we have any federal employee that are “nonessential?”) Federal employees were furloughed and temporarily lost their paychecks… Which equated to approximately 15% of the total federal government workforce (They’ve all since have been paid for work that they did not do… Many of them have been paid twice, because they’re not only getting their regular pay, they also got unemployment.) I knew at the time the polls were lying and said as much repeatedly here and those pronouncements were pure garbage, and that what was happening was a media con job, which unfortunately for us, the moronic Speaker of the House bought into. Because now:
New Poll Shows Democratic Incumbents in Big Trouble.
When it comes to political matters, it’s frightening that your humble blogger seems to have a better grip, a better clue, than the big boys in the House of Representatives.
Cowardice as a political platform generally will not get you to where you want to go. Imagine how much better off we, as a nation, would’ve been, if Boehner and the rest of the RINOs in the House of Representatives (Including the moron "representing" US) had just stuck to their guns like they should of when this started.
Of course, as it turned out, this stands to be something of a political blessing in disguise. What happened here is that Boehner and the House just fell into it. This disaster isn’t a result of anything they were smart enough to foresee. So their intransigence is resulted in an increasingly damaged country, and if possible, an even more angered electorate. And anger… Is what moves voters
As it is now, thanks to the Obama administration’s multiple rounds of lies and incompetence, not to mention their inability to tap dance their way out of this one, those of us who been attacking Obama care from the very beginning, have not only been proven right. Obama care has become that political flypaper… That gift that keeps on giving.
For a local comparison, Obama making the absurd claims that he made about the impacts of Obama care, as well as the bazaar eyes idea that we could add as many as 40 million more people to the insurance roles without making the price of insurance go through the roof, is just as bizarre as our own Tim “the liar” Leavitt claiming that he was opposed to tolls on the CRC scam.
The other scandals are still in play: the inept, incompetent debacle that is the blood of Benghazi, the lies about the IRS scandals, the increasing cancer of the NSA scandal, and now this sweetheart: the implementation of Obama care.
It goes without saying, but if George Bush had been running the country and had implemented a program like this with such disgraceful results; the fringe left nutters would be out rioting in the streets, demanding his resignation. But hypocrisy being what it is, the scum around here of the leftist bent (are you listening “Molehill?”) are staying quiet as church mice after their bazaar and typically false pronouncements about how great we have it here in Washington State.
My concern here, however, is that the GOP, which has shown its own level of incompetence over the past decade or so, will be unable to capitalize on this properly. This amounts to a golden opportunity to ram it in and break it off and the question becomes: will the idiots running the clown car GOP Headquarters have enough sense, enough vision, enough guts, to do what has to be done?
Silly me… Of course they won’t.
The Dems are counting on that… As they should. They have yet to be proven wrong when it comes to the GOP’s lack courage on the part of the House and its leadership, and generally speaking, may have successfully played the GOP like it was a banjo. I see nothing, have heard nothing, and have experienced nothing to indicate that anything different will occur here.
The debacle that is Obama care, would’ve already led to demands for the impeachment of a President Bush. As tens of millions of Americans discover how badly this guys screwed them and lied to them over the past several years... When their health care gets Councilman they’re forced to go with the government plans… What is the GOP doing about it?
Answer: nothing.
The House of Representatives should already have drawn up articles of impeachment, using the lies from Barack Obama as Exhibit 1. He should by now be on his way out, and the Democrats should be suffering accordingly for that. But that takes a level of testicular fortitude that the GOP leadership in the House, or the GOP leadership anywhere else has yet to exhibit. And now is not going to be the exception to their cowardice meme. I essentially expect nothing to come out of all of this; as much of an opportunity as it presents; the GOP has shown, and amazing ability to overlook opportunity when it slaps them right in the face.
Exclusive of the fact that government was never “shut down” (while hundreds of thousands of so-called “nonessential” (why do we have any federal employee that are “nonessential?”) Federal employees were furloughed and temporarily lost their paychecks… Which equated to approximately 15% of the total federal government workforce (They’ve all since have been paid for work that they did not do… Many of them have been paid twice, because they’re not only getting their regular pay, they also got unemployment.) A few modest proposals concerning DUI/Hit and Run.
Much of our society today is based on society's failure to do the unpleasant things required to move these issues to "resolved."
Drugs. Illegal aliens. Domestic violence. Corruption in office. Murder. You name it..
For example: we tell people "not to drink and drive," but then we don't make it illegal if they do, unless they achieve some arbitrary number of BAC which the typically drunk driver rarely can nail down while they’re drinking. Solution?
Make 0.0 the only acceptable BAC for driving.
But we CAN'T do THAT... the restaurant industry would scream! So, implementing this, which would, I admit, likely put most taverns out of business; would result in an economic hit... but it would save lives.
And what's their revenues compared to blood in the streets?
For example: let's make license suspensions lifetime for the first offense.
It's not like people don't KNOW they're not supposed to drink and drive... right? So why, outside the social acceptance of this crime, do we treat it any differently?
The woman in this article is on her FOURTH DUI conviction as it is. FOURTH? Are you fricking KIDDING me? She should never have seen the light of day again after her SECOND.
For example: Let's confiscate the car.
Those opposed would scream like cut cats. Families would suffer... those financing cars would suffer. But to my mind, that's like the police NOT confiscating a MAC-10 used in a drive-by. After all, what is the goal?
Well, for one thing, banks would be hard-pressed to finance a car with someone that has a DUI. And isn't THAT too bad?
Right now, we're just nibbling around the edges... and then we wonder how to "make sense" of all this.
DUI? Suspended for life and lose your car.
Hit and run? Same as DUI and 5 years for non-injury, 10 years for injury, and life for fatality.
Sounds harsh?
Likely not to the victims. And in time, this would practically disappear as a problem if enforced.
To that end, we either quit screwing around and address this stuff, or we keep trying to confuse the public, substituting motion... with action.
One example of this implementation is Singapore: gun crime in Singapore is practically unknown. And that's largely because if you commit a crime and are even carrying a gun... even if you don't use it... that's an automatic 20 year pop.
If you pull a gun during a crime, even if you don't fire it?
They execute you.
What a concept. As a country, we suffer horrific gin crime and the effort, then, is to punish those who don't commit the crimes as result of the actions of those who do.
And how's all that worked out for us?
