The time? A year ago.
The issue? Brand new Marine AND local volunteer firefighter Brandon Garabrandt requested permission to go through his high school graduation in his Marine Dress Blue Uniform.
Naturally, the scum, the disgrace running the school, denied his request.
No matter Fast forward a year, and now LCPL Garabrandt is dead, killed along with two others by an IED in Afghanistan.
My condolences to the family and friends of this brave young man. And my condolences to a community and generations of kids forced to be educated by anyone who would deny a request like that.
