Once again, the GOP caved on an out-democrat-the-democrats bill to provide taxpayer dollars to those who should not even be in this state... naturally, at the expense of those who should be.
We, as a state, don't have nearly enough money for those students who are here legitimately. Now, all of a sudden, we're going to thin out what little we do have by adding thousands here illegally who shouldn't be allowed to set foot in our schools to begin with?
Pathetic.
Pike, Orcutt, Harris and, stunningly enough, Vick voted no on the House vote.
And see... this is how the "progressive" (read: neo-communist) agenda always succeeds. They keep pushing and pushing and pushing... because they know the GOP will cave. Their efforts to nail down the illegal alien vote continue unabated and succeed wildly. Loses are merely temporary setbacks because they know the cowardly in the GOP will give-in at some point.
It happens on every issue, social or otherwise. It happens at every level, local through national.
Sooner or later, the GOP will cringe and give into the left... not because it's the right thing to do or needed, but because it's expedient and it keeps us from being called names.
Because, God Forbid, the GOP can't stand for anything... so it falls for everything.
