Tomorrow, the House has scheduled yet another effort to defund Obamacare. Naturally, anyone who has two firing neurons in operation will support such a move, and it should be a condition for the CR to keep the so-called debt ceiling moving upwards.
We shouldn't have a debt ceiling, of course. It's as meaningless as Obama claiming he was going to "bring the Benghazi killers to justice." Every we time we spend up to it, they just raise it.
So, what's the point of that farce?
Instead, since it's going to be raised anyway, it's time to hold Obamacare hostage. No elimination of Obamacare?
No debt ceiling increase.
The talking heads are whining that everyone is going to "blame it on the Republicans."
Well, so what?
What the hell good does it do to elect Republicans who have no backbone and who are only worried about getting re-elected instead of representing the people?
Blame and be damned, because many of these same people claimed that sequestration was going to be a national disaster... and how has that worked out?
If the only point of governance was to get people with a label into government, maybe we can change it from R or D to "I" or "M," for Idiots and Morons.
I am not going to play with Obamacare. I am not going to pay their fine. I will go to jail if needs be.
I am not concerned about getting re-elected to anything; I am, however, concerned about clowns in government once again failing to do what must be done... like they've failed with guns, illegal aliens, spending, taxes, subsidies and now, most likely, Obamacare.
On the tombstone of this nation, it's liable to say, among other things:
"They spent themselves into bankruptcy... but at least they had health care."
Shut it down. Don't back away from this fight like you have all the others. Show some backbone.
Because if you don't... then what the hell is the point?
