The Columban's version of a document dump: Moeller the only local House member to accept per diem during the session while doing nothing for it.

So, the Lazy C finally got around to telling us that Moeller is taking money for doing nothing.

Bizarre.

That's not exactly the way they phrased it, of course, doing their best to protect a fellow democrat for doing something they blasted two GOP'ers for doing just a few days back.

The Oregonian was reporting on this a week ago.  You people hammered Benton and Zarelli for doing the same thing, while you gave Pridemore a pass since his campaign seems to be paying for his expenses.

Odd, that.

Odder still that the Columbian blasted the GOP'ers at just beforee 1 in the afternoon, but put this info out about Moeller at 9:15 pm and then bury it on their web site.

Now, why do you suppose that is?

Moeller is scamming per-diem as another source of income... not because he needs the money.  He's got no more part in the budget negotiations than my goldfish.

But, as a typical fringe-leftist occupy-type, he's got his fangs buried into the endless taxpayer trough because his own pay check hasn't kicked in and, apparently, he's refusing any pay for his work for the state.

What's that?  He's not?

OOOOHHHHH.... So his babble here was just a scam?

In this article, once again, the Lazy C brings up the GOP'ers getting per diem, making sure to list THEIR pay while all-too-conviently leaving out the fact that Moeller gets the SAME pay.

See, here's the deal: Moeller, ever fast and loose with the truth, DOESN'T NEED TO "MAINTAIN AN APARTMENT IN OLYMPIA."

Moeller isn't a player... he's a token.  That's why he got the gig as Speaker Pro-Tem.  He's not a Player... he isn't involved in budget negotiations and, in fact, is using the "Apartment" scam to subsidize his unmentioned-in-the-article state representative pay.

The apartment is an excuse to keep the cash flowing... the taxpayer dollar is, after all, rather meaningless to a guy unfettered by the concept of saving them.
