When Washington State Senate GOP staff are morons.

GOP staffer seeks $1.75 million settlement over Pam Roach decision

A state Senate GOP senior attorney is seeking a $1.75 million settlement from the state, saying that Republicans have created a hostile work environment by allowing Sen. Pam Roach back into the caucus in exchange for a vital vote on their budget plan last month.
So, the entire case of this idiot is that because Sen. Pam Roach (Full disclosure: I worked for Sen. Roach... briefly... during the 2003 legislative session.) has been allowed to "return" to the caucus.

Not for anything she HAS done, apparently, but for something nebulous and unspecified that she MIGHT do.

That a lawyer would file such a claim, particularly an "at will" employee, for such an amount of money, cannot be something that he hatched on his own.

I believe Senate GOP leadership is involved, otherwise they would have fired this guy already.

Roach was and is the critical 25th vote.  And as a result of these juvenile antics, were I her, I'd tell them to drop dead and vote with the dems.

But that's just me.

Having reviewed in some detail this guy's idiocy, we've come to discover that he believes that every problem in his life is a result of Sen. Pam Roach.

For example, his "complaint" includes this utter nonsense:

I served 14 years in the Army.  In all that time, I never saw ANYONE that was such a wuss.

The very idea that Sen. Roach is responsible for this litany of garbage is a farce, a violation of legal and ethical conduct that, contrary to Hoover's demands, should get HIM fired and then disbarred.

Here's a clue, Mr. Hoover: if all these "injuries" and "conditions" are a result of your cush gig as the Senate Council?  Then do what every other government worker has to do: file a Worker's Comp claim like everyone else.

Fifteen pages of this kind of whining and sniveling makes me ashamed that this "man" ever worked for the State of Washington... and the demand for a cash award, a demand of this magnitude, shows a lack of mental balance that disqualifies him, again, in my opinion, for employment in a position where maturity, knowledge, and a backbone are required parts of the position.

In my opinion, this isn't ABOUT Sen. Roach, who I also worked for back in 2003.  The idiocy of making this claim merely because Sen. Roach was brought back into the caucus is just that, idiocy.

What this moronic complaint has done is to attack the Senate GOP Caucus that he is alleged to be there to support and work for.  This conduct is inexcusable and should result in his immediate termination, like any other at-will employee who violates their duty to their employee and works to bring discredit on the caucus inn the middle of sensitive negotiations over a massive budget deficit.

I would fire him now... today... and I would run this case out for years and years.  Clearly, he has no idea what his job is SUPPOSED to be... and he has again proven himself, in my opinion, unsuitable for this or any other job.  Failure to take that course sends a message to other senate staff who are on the sidelines waiting to see hos this plays out.  And remember: the weaker the response to THIS complaint... the more complaints BOTH caucuses can expect to see.
