All of a sudden, the US Ambassador to Afghanistan tries to undercut Gen. McChrystal? Why?

.
On Twitter, I follow, among many other news sources, @Michael_Yon , now located in the Afghanistan region.

Last night, around 11:00 pm local, this intriguing tweet popped up:
@Michael_Yon: Source: McChrystal's crew thinks White House told Eikenberry to oppose troop increase.

Woah. Now why would the ACORN-in-Chief do something like that? Then this came up:
@Michael_Yon: Source: When 3 DEA agents were killed, there was memorial at BAF.Eikenberry flew in on DEA plane.

And then this:
@Michael_Yon: Source:Eikenberry kicked friends of killed DEA agents off plane to make room for his entourage.

Now, I have followed Yon's exploits for years. He's hasn't missed yet.

I kinda gotta wonder now: Is this more of the Empty Suit playing Machiavelli?

It wouldn't surprise me, nor that he's playing it so badly, like he's done so much to most other foreign and domestic policy efforts.

By publicly humiliating McChrystal, the messiah thinks he can sell doing nothing in regards to troop strength in Afghanistan.

While I appreciate the politics of this situation as much as the next guy, does he REALLY want to become best known for losing a war, BESIDES burying us in additional trillions of debt?
