Video of 1st grade teacher brainwashing her students.

As most adults know of the horrific academic outcomes from our public school leftist brainwashing centers, these schools are a disaster.

Democrats here in Washington confirm these horrific outcomes via the OSPI report card See for yourself:

https://reportcard.ospi.k12.wa.us/

A summary is located above each data set requested, in PDF form, at the "View Summary PDF" button just over the words "Report Card."

My local Middle School, for example, shows the following percentages of students at grade level in Knowledge.

English: 37.9%
Math: 26.5%
Science: 34.1%

How is this OK? These are numbers that SHOULD shock the conscience.

Is it any wonder that Mississippi public schools have surpassed Washington public schools in academic outcomes... at $6000 per student per year LESS than what we're wasting in this state's schools?

Here, you can see STATISTICALLY, what an abysmal, awful job our multi-billion dollar wastes of money provide. You can look up your child's school or their entire district, or the whole state at this URL and I urge you to do so.

The product schools produce in this state is, essentially, criminal and impacts children for the entirety of their lives going forward.

While they routinely fail their academic mission, they're typically successful in their fringe-left programming of students that result in the type of insanity where 1st graders protest "ICE" when, in fact, parents do not turn their kids over to schools for ANY particular political/moral inculcation when, instead, the goal is to teach children ACADEMICS.

Fringe left (or right) politics do not come under the academic umbrella. Neither has a place in our classrooms when schools fail so miserably in their mission of academics.

PARTICULARLY for 1st graders.

Yet, here we have ANOTHER teacher, PROUDLY showing off her efforts to teach hatred of her government, naturally enough, in California.

Yet, we all know this kind of twisted thinking is going on around the country... but California government as a state and the San Diego School District supports and encourages this insanity.

It goes without saying that no child should be sentenced to any kind of brainwashing center masquerading as a school. Cranking out Young Komsomol members... or any other political persuasion... is not their mission.

In this instance, we have yet another teacher; in this case, a 1st grade teacher, turning the US Flag in her classroom upside down and following that insanity with the posting of an "Abolish ICE" sign in her classroom.

All, of course, so she can teach hatred for this country and our government.

Imagine the kinds of questions her kids will ask and how she'll answer them.

This blatant abuse of both her position AND the children doesn't happen in a vacuum. She's fearless in her disrespect of her country and the parents/children of her class because she believes there will be zero accountability for her actions.

And in California?

She's probably right. Her school district has had this situation "under investigation" Since early February. To date, she continues to pollute children's mind in her classroom.

Her hate-fest has gone viral, and has garnered world-wide publicity. (Run a google search on "Bailey Hill Ringer" San Diego School District)

Schools districts whine about a lack of funding. Who's at fault? Who will be held accountable?

Continually failing school levies play a roll in this, of course... but who wants to waste even more billions on an obviously failing statewide public school debacle?

We dump billions in... but what are we getting for ROI?

When they crammed the McLeary budget down our throats that caused our property taxes to explode, wasn't school funding supposed to be "fixed?" Who knew that the McLeary rip off was an obvious scam?

Massive increases in money without requiring any increased academic performance FOR that money... and getting worsening academics every year since.

Billions wasted.

Further, the reduction in anticipated, utterly unrealistic student attendance projections as more and more parents discover how totally, completely worthless most public schools in this state actually are and either home school their kids or private school them, combined with the costs of horrifically overpaid teachers who punch out semi-literate cretins like movie tickets, might have something to do with it.

If only the unconscionably bad schools of this state, now in many respects overtaken by Mississippi public schools in academics for only a paltry $6000 per student LESS than students that WE pay to have taught... would actually begin teacher accountability.

Our schools are terrible. The OSPI report card is a nightmare, by most schools, most districts and the entirety of this state.

And it isn't funding. Other states are doing far better for far less. And the Washington DC district, which has wasted even more money per student than we do, has done far worse.

It isn't parents. Mississippi school children have parents as well. While our teachers typically blame everyone else except themselves for these outcomes, are Mississippi teachers blaming parents for THEIR outcomes?

Funding does NOT equal outcomes. If it did, Washington DC schools, which are an actual crime against children and among the worst in the world, would, at $31,000+ per student per year, be punching out geniuses instead of their pathetic outcomes:

All students - English proficiency: 37.6% Math proficiency: 26.4% Science proficiency: 13.3%

Leftists riot at the drop of a bong.

But they never riot over how piss-poor our schools really are. Government simply doesn't care.

And sadly, it would seem far too few parents care, either.

What if public schools were inculcating religion and not sexuality?

Let me say at the outset that that issues of support or opposition to any particular sexuality, one way or the other, has no place in any public school system.

The job of schools is academics. Period. And out public school academics are essentially horrific, a joke, a waste of hundreds of billions of dollars every year and a situation made worse by the focus on leftist programing concerning both the political realm and the sexual.

Which brings up the issue here:

This reel listed below illustrates a good point:

In many public schools, programming children begins essentially the moment they first walk through the door. Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual. Trans, etc... including how-to books and classes.

Oppose any of this programming and you're a bigot, a nazi, etc.

We have to go along with these fringe-programs, Kids are not allowed to object... we've all by now heard the stories of kids not allowed in their graduation in high schools merely because they've publicly announced the horrific and absolutely true reality that there are but two genders and no amount of delusion or mutilation can change that.

What if, instead of programing children, many without their parents' knowledge or awareness; or in the case of Washington State, thanks to Inslee signing SB 5599 into law allowing children who CAN'T EVEN GET THEIR EARS PIERCED WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION to UNDERGO PERMANENT GENDER MUTILATION WHILE THE STATE DELIBERATELY LIES TO THE PARENTS ABOUT WHATS GOING ON... Mutilation like this:

... what if THAT programing was replaced with, say, religious programing?

What if Christianity was being rammed down the intellectual throats of children in our public schools? What if it were one of the Muslim religions? Or Mormon? Or Buddhist?

The same... the EXACT same people ramming this sexual ideology down our children's throats would be horrified at the thought of it. These same people would riot. Court cases would fly like machine gun bullets.

But.... what is the difference beyond the sexual inculcation of children with their subsequent efforts to mutilate them for life without parental awareness, permission or approval... and religious "brainwashing", save for the scaring and mutilation of children both mentally and physically that can NEVER be undone while deluding them into believing that surgery, or binders, or pronouns or allowing fake women to compete against the real thing or use their locker rooms will somehow solve ALL of their problems...

These same people would lose their minds over posting the 10 Commandments in a classroom.

But destroying children's lives? Enslaving them to expanders twice daily for the rest of their lives... Enslaving them to hormones... the side effects of medication designed to chemically castrate? The butchery of fake penises? Or fake vaginas?

That's just swell.

What would happen if schools actually forced a POV against the parent's will?

If it's anything related to sexuality? That's fine.

If it's anything related to religion? That's anathema.

The paper blows it again: In our view: 'NO!' to Bullies

.
I hate the idea of bullies.... particularly of the government variety.

But I understand that bullying is a problem, both in our schools and in our lives generally.

What I cannot and will not support, however, is the expansion of school authority beyond the school grounds or into our families.

Schools have already taken it upon themselves to arrange abortions for our children. That the state has, apparently, provided them with the authority to revoke our parental rights as a matter of policy is the thing; and now this paper advocates an ever-expanding role and authority for schools under the guise of combating "bullying."

Let me reiterate: I hate the very idea of bullying. But I hate the school abusing their authority as arbiter of what is, and what is not bullying, even more.

Schools are not run or staffed by saints. Their judgment is not superior to mine or yours or anyone else's.

So, when the local paper babbles:
That’s why schools must be vigilant to signs of bullying, both on the school grounds and beyond.

I have to stand up and say "Bull."

"Beyond" the school grounds is beyond the school's authority.

Schools should be active in protecting their students while on school grounds. For example, it seems that schools should be more concerned about taking steps to protect 7 year old 2nd graders at school science fairs.

But at the edge of the school grounds, the role of our schools cannot be anything more than advisory. And while our local cancer of our community is all about expanding government and incurring massive indebtedness when it suits their agenda, *I* am all about ending the concept of giving schools, or government, or anyone else the right to bully us.

Like allowing school authority to go "beyond" school grounds.

Why public service unions typically disgust me: Ridgefield school food proposal draws fire

.
Unions seem to come in two basic packages when you're dealing with the government sector.

There's the unions that understand our economic situation and that basically, we all will suffer as long as our economy is heading south, or until the Obama Administration is impeached, since he's doing everything he can to bury us in debt.

Then there's the moronic, viciously greedy, uncaring-that-we-pay-the-bills type, like the 4 unions that sued the Governor because she tossed their labor agreements due to a paltry $10 BILLION deficit.

Ridgefield School Classified Association is one such union.

To save money in the midst of horrific spending cuts, contracting the food services out is under consideration. That would mean that 15 employees would be laid off.

The union is pitching a fit. And to that, I say: That's too damned bad.

When a union president is reduced to lying: "These employees are the essential fabric of what makes our small town schools unique," that shows how out of touch and willing to exaggerate unions are to keep their people going at our expense.

My business is off 54% and it's absolutely attributable to the recession and budget cuts. While I have my thoughts on the causes of the economy, the fact is that our economy sucks, and that means EVERYONE, INCLUDING UNIONS, are GOING to feel the pain of it.

Kudos to the RSB and their Super for thinking outside the box. Unfortunately for the food workers, when their are cheaper alternatives that make sense, their is no compelling reason for these workers not to go.

Of course, instead of whining about it, they might.... just might.... have enough sense to make an alternative, competitive proposal that would allow them to stay.

But, nahhhhhh.... it's easier to whine and snivel and blame. And, because of their "Me, first" attitude, they really won't be missed.

Union fights plan to lay off 15, switch to contracted service

Saturday, May 23 12:15 a.m.

Looks like there's a big food fight brewing in Ridgefield.

Ridgefield School District classified employees say they're furious Superintendent Art Edgerly and the school board would consider terminating 15 food-service workers, to replace them with a contracted company.

The workers' union is urging parents to crowd Tuesday's 6:30 p.m. school board meeting to register displeasure with what its leader calls a "heartless" proposal.

The potential money-saving move comes while Ridgefield sports a relatively healthy budget in a year when other Clark County districts are wrestling with multimillion-dollar deficits.

District officials have sent a contract service feasibility study to the state education office, the Ridgefield Classified Association said in a withering statement issued Friday.

"These employees are the essential fabric of what makes our small town schools unique," said Denise Krause, classified union president.

"This is the wrong direction for the board and district to take," Krause said. Many food-service workers are low-wage, low-hour employees whose families face tough times, she said. To fire them now "is heartless" when the district has more than $2 million in reserves, she said.

The current operating budget for the 2,000-student district is about $18 million.
