As most adults know of the horrific academic outcomes from our public school leftist brainwashing centers, these schools are a disaster.

My local Middle School, for example, shows the following percentages of students at grade level in Knowledge.

English: 37.9%
Math: 26.5%
Science: 34.1%

How is this OK? These are numbers that SHOULD shock the conscience.

Is it any wonder that Mississippi public schools have surpassed Washington public schools in academic outcomes... at $6000 per student per year LESS than what we're wasting in this state's schools?

Here, you can see STATISTICALLY, what an abysmal, awful job our multi-billion dollar wastes of money provide. You can look up your child's school or their entire district, or the whole state at this URL and I urge you to do so.

The product schools produce in this state is, essentially, criminal and impacts children for the entirety of their lives going forward.

While they routinely fail their academic mission, they're typically successful in their fringe-left programming of students that result in the type of insanity where 1st graders protest "ICE" when, in fact, parents do not turn their kids over to schools for ANY particular political/moral inculcation when, instead, the goal is to teach children ACADEMICS.

Fringe left (or right) politics do not come under the academic umbrella. Neither has a place in our classrooms when schools fail so miserably in their mission of academics.

PARTICULARLY for 1st graders.

Yet, here we have ANOTHER teacher, PROUDLY showing off her efforts to teach hatred of her government, naturally enough, in California.



Yet, we all know this kind of twisted thinking is going on around the country... but California government as a state and the San Diego School District supports and encourages this insanity.

It goes without saying that no child should be sentenced to any kind of brainwashing center masquerading as a school. Cranking out Young Komsomol members... or any other political persuasion... is not their mission.

In this instance, we have yet another teacher; in this case, a 1st grade teacher, turning the US Flag in her classroom upside down and following that insanity with the posting of an "Abolish ICE" sign in her classroom.

All, of course, so she can teach hatred for this country and our government.

Imagine the kinds of questions her kids will ask and how she'll answer them.

This blatant abuse of both her position AND the children doesn't happen in a vacuum. She's fearless in her disrespect of her country and the parents/children of her class because she believes there will be zero accountability for her actions.

And in California?

She's probably right. Her school district has had this situation "under investigation" Since early February. To date, she continues to pollute children's mind in her classroom.

Washington schools continue to fail us.

I despise public schooling controlled by leftists who are working, deliberately or inadvertently, to destroy our country. 

In the 19-20 school years, Washington state reached a high of 1,103,173 students enrolled.  According to the latest OSPI figures, even though our population has increased from 7,546,400 in 2019 to 8,159,900, that number has dropped significantly to 1,096,285.

So, while the state has gained over 600,000 residents, the number of students over that same time period has decreased instead of increasing to reflect our population growth.

Here, for example, is the statistical summary of Washington State Public Schools, according to the state, leftist controlled Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, before his new grading system to cook the books in an effort to literally slather lipstick on an absolutely unacceptable pig known as the public school system in the state of Washington:

Note the "highlights," or the lowlights, as it were, of this report that the fringe-left OSPI generated, just before the school year started in September of 2022..

48% are at grade level in English.

30% in math. 46% in science.

17% drop-out rate

16 student average classroom size.

20% don't bother to show up at all.

Now, after OSPI changed the reporting criteria to make school academic outcomes LOOK better, here are the results OSPI wants us to believe:

3 school years later, the number of children showing up for class has collapsed, from a despicable 80% to a horrific 73%.

That means that we have a typical rate of 27% of children in this state blowing off school.

How is it possible for 27% of kids to skip school, but still have an 83% graduation rate?

And yet, somehow, even though the number of kids actually bothering to show up for school has almost ended the need for schooling that children obviously see as worthless, somehow, in the face, of kids NOT SHOWING UP?

The GRADUATION RATE INCREASED?

How is that even possible?

What's missing from the OSPI report card?

THESE numbers, provided by an OSPI report summary but missing from the actual report card itself.

Why aren't these numbers included on the Report Card?

Even with the obvious subterfuge OSPI is trying to sell us, these numbers are still horrific.

In fact, It was recently reported that Mississippi just passed Washington in 4th grade reading levels... 

Even though their expenditures per student are over $6000 LESS than Washington State, proving once again that money DOES NOT equate to academic outcomes.

Meanwhile, the actual Superintendent rails against districts implementing the President's Executive Order to keep boys out of both girl's locker rooms/bathrooms and sports.

All while we're punching out semi-literate cretins and academics continue to suffer at absolutely unacceptable outcomes.

Unfortunately, I can't just blame OSPI for this obvious systemic educational incompetence.

PARENTS have a role to play in this nightmare.

That parents either don't seem to know... or care... that political inculcation far exceeds academics in importance in Washington schools as shown by recent school/district-sponsored fringe-left progressive school organized walkouts/riots over ICE enforcement in this country. These outcomes are to be expected when both school boards and teachers are not held accountable for the horrific jobs their doing.

But parents... who drive change... are failing their children by accepting mediocre-at-best outcomes from overpaid prima donna brain-washing leftists masquerading as teachers... and our kids suffer as a result.

It's worse now than it was two years ago: Public Schools continue to fail us

 It hasn't changed. We're cranking out semi-literate cretins and no one cares, least of all parents.

If a riot is ever called for, it's not at a Tesla dealership: It's at your nearest local school board.

Parents, however, have been numbed into the stupor that the fringe-left indoctrination centers known as a "public school" is actually educating their children.

Which is totally untrue.

In school districts standing up against the INSANE idea that it's OK for fake girls to compete against/use the locker rooms/shower with the real thing, the state of Washington will hammer on such a district like a drum while completely ignoring the horrific academic outcomes that are par for the course.

They'll spend more money punishing school districts standing up against state-imposed tyranny than they will insuring that high school graduates in this state are required to actually know how to read, write and do math.

And what a sad priority THAT is.

In Oregon, for example, you get a high school diploma as if you actually learned something when, in fact, you literally, as Bill says, don't have to know ANYTHING to graduate, or, for the matter, even show up to class.

Two years ago, I wrote:

For years now, I've been pounding the internet over how horrific our public schools actually are.

Any public school in this state will typically have nothing to brag about. Frequently, the end product of a high school diploma is awarded to kids failing in all areas and subjects, and in many schools, even to kids who fail to regularly show up for class.

But they get pushed through anyway and in spite of the billions the taxpayers of this state waste on the education plant, we suck... and suck HARD.... academically. Our academic outcomes are embarrassingly horrific. But we continue to indebt taxpayers to follow the pattern of shoveling cash into teacher's pockets when far too often, their final product, which they are never held accountable for producing, are abysmal academic failures.

But man, you CAN count on them having undergone social engineering instead of academic competency.

Woodland schools, for example:

Right now, 49% of kids aren't at grade level in English. 65% aren't at grade level in math. 55% aren't at grade level in science. And whole 80% attend school regularly... while 83% graduate (17% drop out rate aside) but graduate with what? A worthless piece of paper that shows no competence or academic achievement.

How is that OK?

Well, leave it to Bill Maher to point out our reality and maybe, just maybe, you can recall this the next time you're filling out a ballot to enable schools to steal MORE of your money and waste it on teacher pay and benefits that most of us can't even dream of.
