"You will never be the best version of yourself if you allow other people to convince you, that you can't be better because of your skin color, because of your sexual identity, because of the community you came from... you must resist those narratives at all costs if you truly want to be successful in America." - Charley Kirk

When the Right gets stupid: James O'Keefe gets nailed for screwing with Louisiana Purchase Landrieu's Office.
There is no question that O'Keefe and Hannah Giles did yeoman's work in outing ACORN as fringe-left scum who would go so far as to engage in criminal activity while aiding others in illegal immigration and child prostitution... all of it on our dime.
At some point, when the Obama Administration becomes just a former bad dream instead of our current nightmare, ACPRN and it's lackeys will be thoroughly investigated by the appropriate authorities, and many of them, no doubt, imprisoned as a result.
Unfortunately, much of the good will generated by O'Keefe and Giles' efforts to provide the truth about this far-fringe-left organization vaporized today with the arrest of James O'Keefe for his actions in one of the offices of one of my favorite senators, "Louisiana Purchase" Landrieu in New Orleans.
As much as I appreciate O'Keefe's successful efforts with ACORN, that does not and cannot excuse the utter, rank, stupidity he displayed with this effort.
ACORN and its defender remain firmly buried under the garbage heap of our scorn. But O'Keefe has hurt his cause by lumping himself in with the same ilk who would engage in any illegal activity, presuming these allegations are true.
He hurt the cause, he hurt himself, and now a gleeful, ACORN-supporting left will set about to deflect the message that ACORN is but one of the many symptoms of a legally and ethically-challenged Administration.
Dumb, James. REALLY dumb.

Jamie Herrera: ACORN'S Representative in the House.
Our resident political opportunist, Jaime Herrera, is an interesting person. She portrays herself as something of a conservative. But a questionable voting record serves to make me wonder. Is she exaggerating about that the same way she exaggerated about her background to get the appointment in the first place?
My complete familiarity of her appointment process and the horrific manipulation of it was something I'd mentioned in the past. This made it pretty clear to others with information exactly where I stood.
So, we begin with today's tidbit: the fact that Jamie Herrera appears to have been ACORN'S Representative in the House.
ACORN and SEIU are synonym
Well, here's a few of the votes that Herrera took that tends to show exactly where she stands on those issues important to the SEIU... and, by extension, to ACORN.
The GOP will never regain political prominence by out-democrating democrats. This is not the kind of representation I want anywhere, let along Congress.Endorsements from Herrera State campaign website:

HB 2449 (2008) Brief Description: Providing collective bargaining for childcare center directors and workers. Vote: 70-24 (Herrera: Yes)Support included: SEIU 925
Opposition included: YMCAs of Washington; Washington Parents for Safe Child
Care; Washington Policy Center(Opposed) Our centers are concerned about the impact of collective bargaining on them. Washington's subsidy rate is one of the lowest in the nation. Why not just increase subsidy rates? Representation fees will reduce the amounts available for low-income children. There are better and more cost-effective ways to achieve these outcomes. Competitors should not be in the same bargaining units. Managers and teachers should not be in the same bargaining unit. Personal information should be protected. This legislation is not necessary.
HB1329 (2009) Brief Description: Providing collective bargaining for childcare center directors and workers. Vote: 65-31 (Herrera, Co-Sponsor: Yes)
Support included: SEIU; Washington Education Association and American Federation of Teachers
(Opposed) The Legislature can increase subsidy payments without an unnecessary and costly middleman. A union is not the right approach. The bill would cost millions to implement, not including the costs of defending legal challenges and paying increased subsidies. The bill forces workers into a union, but gives them no opportunity to vote. Many family childcare providers don't want a union in their lives, and the same may be true for childcare centers. Accountability for taxpayers and child care providers should be required. Union dues do not equate to quality childcare.
HB1389 (2009) Brief Description: Adds the operating and maintenance employees at a commercial nuclear power plant to the employees covered by interest arbitration under the Public Employees' Collective Bargaining Act. Vote: 67-29 (Herrera: Yes)Support included: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
(Opposed) The parties already have an agreement, and there is no need to have anything else. Currently, they are motivated to be at the table and reach a prompt settlement. In the past, other parties have preferred pushing for arbitration rather than reaching an agreement. Interest arbitration did not promote workplace harmony. It also resulted in a settlement that was lower than what the parties had negotiated.

Least we forget: The Company they keep.
So, you know that folks are frequently known by the company they keep.

And speaking of the ACORN scandal... where's our local rag's coverage?
As detailed several times below, the Columbian is a wholly-owned leftist newsletter, bought and paid for with our tax dollars by a greatful democrat legislature.
Well, like that great democrat Lyndon Johnson was credited with saying: "Down in Texas, once we buy a (newspaper) they STAY bought."
First, we have minimal to zero coverage of one of the largest protests in the history of the United States. Now, we have no coverage of a scandal that might, ultimately, bring down a presidency... and where's this waste of pulp's coverage of that?
No where that I could find.
Now, why do you suppose that is?
.
So that leftist fav ACORN... busted a THIRD time for helping to set up prostituion? When is Holder gonna get off his ass and indict?
Leftists around the country praise ACORN as having been an integral part of The One's election victory... indictments for massive voter fraud notwithstanding.
As a reward for that, this organized criminal enterprise amassed hundreds of millions of dollars of OUR money... their most recent government scam, their reward for supporting the messiah... being awarded contracts to actually work on the census. (Given their record of voter fraud, one can only imagine what their census information would have contained... and how they would have put it together)
Until now.
ACORN is organized crime. The tapes released so far have shown in now 3 different offices, (The latest being NYC) these scum helping a pimp and one of his hookers set up whore house operations that included the illegal importation of El Salvadorian under-age females for forced prostitution... you know, kinda like Barney Frank's basement.
And what is the response from this scumbag organization?
These are lying scum in every sense of the word. The LAST thing these cretins want is to be dragged into a courtroom... because in every case, there's a little number called "discovery."In a statement released Saturday, ACORN said that it could not defend the actions of its employees but that what O'Keefe and Giles did was criminal.
"And, in fact, a crime it was -- our lawyers believe a felony -- and we will be taking legal action against Fox and their co-conspirators," the statement said.
"Discovery" would provide documentation... documentation that the AG should already have subpoenaed... that would, most likely, show this pattern of corruption and crime infests this entire organization.
You know, you really can tell someone by the company they keep. And Mr. President, you seem strangely quiet about all this.
Now, I don't know the two intrepid film makers ripping the cover off this scummy organization of thugs. But I get the feeling by the time they're done, everyone will know who they are.
Congrats to both James O'Keefe, 25, and Hannah Giles, 20, the investigative reporters who've made all this happen... exposing what we akll knew to be true in the first place.
Ain't technology swell?

Fox News Bulletin: Undercover tapes proving ACORN is a criminal organization causes Census Bureau to cut all ties.
The ACORN scum have been busted a SECOND time. As a result, the Census Bureau is severing all ties with ACORN.
Finally.
Now... will Holder have the balls to investigate these scum?
