I should have just stuck to my guns and had them cut it off.The rather large bump where my knuckle used to be before the VA got rid of it for me, is a piece of metal they left inside my finger during the last operation... which was the third. The dark spec in the middle of that lump is the top of whatever that is
I go in tomorrow to find out what they're going to do about it.
More scar tissue, no doubt. That's as straight as that digit is ever going to get. Best guess is this finger has cost the grateful taxpayers of this Nation around $90,000.
