Some agreement with Jayne: we do get the government we deserve.

The leftist meme is consistent.  In today's screed, the rag equates Madore's expenditures to "bad governance."

That's the usual partisan hatred where they cast aspirations but provide zero proof to back them.

They cannot, or at least to date, have yet to provide any proof that funding from Madore somehow equates to "ownership" of anyone.

After all, if memory serves, Boldt's oldest daughter has worked for Madore for years.

She was working for Madore when Madore blew Boldt out of the saddle back in 2012 and still is, as far as I can tell.

How bad can Madore be?

Like every other leftist here locally, Jayne is whining about Madore's money.

The given in all of this is their rank hypocrisy: does the left whine about California Millonaire Tom Steyer's millions, perhaps dumped even here locally as the wallet behind Moxie Media's $100,000 in support of Eric LaBrandt?

Nope.

And that, of course, is why their sniveling about Madore's money is so utterly worthless.

If the money was the issue, our local cancer on our community, the daily democrat, would be just as mad about the money behind LaBrandt; just as mad about Steyer's millions for fringe-left democrats which may include LaBrandt's campaign, laundered through Moxie Media; just as mad about democrat Suzan DelBene spending $3 million to "buy" her congressional seat, and absolutely furious over Maria Cantwell spending $10 million or so to buy her US Senate seat.

But it's not the money: it's who's spending it.

Under the guise of "news," this rag has gone after David Madore, who admittedly has had some of it coming... SOME OF IT... because they despise him personally.

Lying Lefty Lou is the head of the fish, and it's rotted from there, downwards.

The rag can report whatever they want, even the lies they're so fond of... lies of co-mission and lies of o-mission.  That's their privilege and their selective application of the Bill of Rights. (They're not all that big on the 2nd Amendment, you understand, but they whine and snivel about the 1st... specifically, "freedom of the press," more than they should have to.)

Meanwhile, as I pointed out in the Reflector:
Oh, I get it. Those opposed to the write-in effort because it might cost a democrat this position of county chair want to deflect from Boldt's horrendous record as a commissioner, one that saw him voted out of office and one that he refuses to disavow... You know, where he lied to me about holding a CRC vote, where he raised our taxes for 6 straight years, where he rabidly support the CRC, light rail, tolls and all and where he voted to confiscate our guns in the event of a county or state-declared emergency among other things.
So, you indict Pike with the idea that she will do whatever Madore wants, whenever he wants it. Kind of like Boldt’s record when he was a commissioner supporting the special interests who were SO opposed to the will of the people of this county… dancing to the democrat's/downtown mafia's tune.
But your sort said much the same thing about the influence of money in another recent campaign... who was that.... oh yeah: Jeanne Stewart. And how has that worked out?
And naturally, when Tom Steyer, a California billionaire dumps his additional millions in here to buy Inslee's re-election along with more democrats in the legislature (What was it? $3 million last year?) your sort will be out there demanding that he take HIS money out of OUR elections.
Right?
Fat chance.
Unlike Boldt, who clearly does what he's told, both Stewart AND Pike have minds of their own and will actually represent the people of, in Stewart's situation, their district and in Pike's case, this county. While charged with much the same allegation during her campaign for the council, Stewart is hardly under the "control" of Madore... but your ilk ignores that outcome because it doesn't fit the meme.
And outcomes are the thing. Boldt's record and reasoning hasn't changed. He doesn't want to be held accountable to either side so he can do what he wants regardless of what we want. That's how he governed before and that's how he'll govern again, unfettered by any responsibility to the people if he gets the gig.
And with Boldt, history suggests a completely different outcome from what the people of this county expect, one that has to do with his Stuart-like position of speaking for Marc and never speaking for the people of this County.
Meanwhile, you ALLEGE that Madore will control Pike but have zero proof. I convict Boldt of being controlled by those who want to run our lives through him and offer a great deal of proof to support that.
In this case, the "special interest" you seem to be most concerned about, given Boldt's commissioner record, is that of the people of this county who are not particularly interested in a replay of his 8 years of ignoring us when he had the chance to listen. And given their respective histories, it's a chance I'm willing to take.
The leftist meme is consistent.  In today's screed, the rag equates Madore's expenditures to "bad governance."

That's the usual partisan hatred where they cast aspersions but provide zero proof to back them.

They cannot, or at least to date, have yet to provide any proof that funding from Madore somehow equates to "ownership" of anyone.

But it's all they've got.  And, of course, they only apply that standard to those they hate... not to those they support.

Just asks leftists like LaBrandt.

This, to me, is clear: Madore's successful efforts in killing the CRC Scam is driving this: and the entire idea is to manipulate those who supported him in that regard into supporting Boldt, who is going to do everything he can to resurrect that fraud.

Meanwhile, Boldt doesn't talk about the CRC Scam, but like every other leftist, he's come up with zero alternatives to anything Madore has planned or implemented.

Riding the Columbian's hate jihad of Madore, all Boldt's got is to claim he isn't Madore... and oppose everything he's done, outcomes to the contrary.

And that's yet another reason why I oppose my brother-in-law's election: if he had an original thought, it died of loneliness years ago.

Text to me about THAT while you're driving, Marc.
