Not long ago, the state of Arizona made a serious effort to engage in actual enforcement of laws concern illegal aliens.
Senate Bill 1070 was brought about as a result of the Obama Administration's decision to ignore immigration laws with their open border policies.
The results were predictable.
The left views illegal aliens as a source of votes to be counted in federal elections, since no effort is made to require proof of citizenship to vote in this country. They work hard to nail down the illegal alien vote.
Arizona was excoriated as a state by leftists everywhere. They were forced to defend their actions in court, and met with some success where it matters:
On the other end of the spectrum are socialist enclaves such as Seattle and King County, San Francisco, Chicago, and many others.
Most recently, an illegal alien slaughtered a woman he did not know, in broad daylight, using a gun traced back to a federal agent.
In the "sanctuary city" of San Francisco. Oddly, no one involved in the sanctuary city debacle down there wants to take credit for this unnecessary murder. The left's typical knee-jerk is to blame the GOP.
Deported five times, this is the kind of individual Obama is drawing to... and allowing to remain in... our country.
And this points to one, over-arching question:
Why are these communist cities allowed to do this... when Arizona was not allowed to fully enforce federal law?
Why are they allowed to ignore federal law and long-standing law enforcement tenets because of this special class of illegal aliens?
And why isn't the RINO-led, GOP Congress doing anything about it? Why isn't this issue in front of the Supreme Court (Not that, based on their most recent rulings, they'd do anything but support these cities breaking the law as well.)
This is separate and distinct from acting to end illegal immigration per se'; those steps are easily developed and implemented.
This is about leftist-led cities formalizing their deternmination to break federal law... and do it with impunity.
No matter how much innocent blood is spilled as a result.
What, for example, is our cardboard cutout of a fake "Republican" congresswoman doing about this?
I know... I know.... nothing. But I have to ask.
And so should you.
Don't expect much on this issue... or any other when it comes to that clueless coward "representing" us.
The solution, by the way, is simple: just end any federal funding of any kind to any sanctuary city... or any city that does not obey federal law no matter what title they may use.
If the people living there want their city to be a "sanctuary" for those breaking the law... then they should feel free to make up any short fall in funding that results.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest is blaming Republicans after an illegal immigrant who was reportedly deported five times was charged with murder in California.
When asked by reporters about critics of President Obama’s immigration enforcement policies, Earnest insisted that it was actually Republicans who are fault for voting against the Gang Of Eight bill last year, pointing out that it contained funding to increase border security.
“The fact is that the president has done everything within his power to make sure that we are focusing our law enforcement resources on criminals and those who pose a threat to public safety and it’s because of the political efforts of Republicans that we have not been able to make the kind of investment that we’d like to make in securing our border and keeping our community safe,” Earnest said.
Francisco Sanchez was charged with shooting and killing a 32-year-old San Francisco woman last week, lleading to criticism from illegal immigration activists. Earnest deferred questions about details of the case to the Department of Homeland Security.Yeah, because, hell, nothing the LEFT did with this guy enabled him to kill anyone... right?
