Congratulations to Jeanne Stewart. But if the Madorista county commissioners don't find a way to get along with the city of Vancouver, the following will happen. Vancouver will pull out of C-Tran. And if you hate C-Tran, wait'll you get a look at V-Tran. Voters in that new transit district will approve the CRC (they love the prospect of light rail in Vancouver) and the Madoristas' worst nightmares will become reality. Snarling "No!" only works for so long, evidenced by the chain of recent 6-3 votes at C-Tran board meetings.

Well, Pit (You don't mind if I call you "pit," do you?) when you're exercising your veto?

Meanwhile, I would be thrilled if the commissioner's ditched the idiocy known as CTran.  That way, only the scum on the Vancouver city council would be liable for their stupidity.  And TriMet could go whiz up a rope: just like you, idiot stick.
