Jayne blows the call on illegal aliens.

First of all, for me, I don't care why they are here, where they come from or how they got here, what benefits they are or are not receiving.

Secondly, they are breaking the law by being here.

Thirdly, we are a nation of morons because we do, contrary to Jayne's babble, provide a great many benefits to illegal aliens merely because they are here and choosing to break our laws by being here.

So, those facts being undeniable, let's take a look at Jayne's parsing and, of course, outright lies.

My default is that when anyone at the Lazy C makes a declarative statement which defies common sense and reality, it's likely they've got it wrong.

The last decade of their lies, exaggerations and attacks against those wise enough to oppose their Utopian worldview have conditioned me to consider them to be that which they describe as "rants and rages."

All too often, the democratian's credibility has been shredded like cheese in a pizza restaurant.  This, of course, is one of those times.

Whether it's through Jayne's ignorance or by some other design, the fact is that illegal aliens DO get "freebies and handouts."

Most recently, for example, moronic Republicans in the legislature caved and provided guaranteed in-state tuition rates at our community colleges and universities for illegal aliens.

To and for people who, BY LAW, are not even supposed to be allowed to be here.

That means that illegal aliens WILL be taking up spots in our higher education system that won't be going to American citizens.

And THAT is a massive savings to them... and it's "free."

Did Jayne not know this?

When Jayne actually wrote this:
There are other misconceptions, as well. Illegal residents, Riggs said, are ineligible for federal benefits, although some states might have different laws regarding state-funded assistance — and although children born here, and therefore U.S. citizens, are eligible.
It took me all of ten seconds or so to find this (From Judicial Watch):
Surprise, surprise; Census Bureau data reveals that most U.S. families headed by illegal immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare programs on behalf of their American-born anchor babies.  Even before the recession, immigrant households with children used welfare programs at consistently higher rates than natives, according to the extensive census data collected and analyzed by a nonpartisan Washington D.C. group dedicated to researching legal and illegal immigration in the U.S.

The results, published this month in a lengthy report, are hardly surprising. Basically, the majority of households across the country benefitting from publicly-funded welfare programs are headed by immigrants, both legal and illegal. States where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare use rates are Arizona (62%), Texas, California and New York with 61% each and Pennsylvania(59%).The study focused on eight major welfare programs that cost the government $517 billion the year they were examined.

They include Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for the disabled, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), a nutritional program known as Women, Infants and Children (WIC), food stamps, free/reduced school lunch, public housing and health insurance for the poor (Medicaid).Food assistance and Medicaid are the programs most commonly used by illegal immigrants, mainly on behalf of their American-born children who get automatic citizenship. On the other hand, legal immigrant households take advantage of every available welfare program, according to the study, which attributes it to low education level and resulting low income.  The highest rate of welfare recipients come from the Dominican Republic (82 %), Mexico and Guatemala (75%) and Ecuador (70%), according to the report, which says welfare use tends to be high for both new arrivals and established residents.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A projected $650 million in welfare benefits will be distributed to illegal alien parents in 2013, county officials said Monday.

Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich announced the latest figures from the Department of Public Social Services, which showed more than $376 million in CalWORKs benefits and food stamps combined have been distributed through July to illegal alien parents for their native-born children.
Approximately $54 million in welfare payments are issued each month, consisting of nearly $20 million in CalWORKs and $34 million in food stamp issuances, according to the data.
An estimated 100,000 children of 60,000 undocumented parents receive aid in Los Angeles County, according to Antonovich, who said this year’s projections — up about $1 million from the nearly $53 million in total benefits issued in July 2012 — underscore the economic impact of the nation’s immigration debate.
“When you add the $550 million for public safety and nearly $500 million for healthcare, the total cost for illegal immigrants to county taxpayers exceeds $1.6 billion dollars a year,” Antonovich said in a statement. “These costs do not even include the hundreds of millions of dollars spent annually for education.”
Is Jayne being disingenuous?  Is he lying?  Is he a clueless fringe-left idiot?

These things ARE handouts.  Handouts to millions who are breaking our laws.

These things ARE freebies... to the recipients.  But not to the millions of us PAYING for them.

As for Obamacare:

Oregon just admitted not too long ago that they signed up a paltry 4000 illegal aliens... Why would 4000 of them sign up?  What on earth gave 4000 illegals the idea that they could sign up for ANY federal program?  After all, you'd think, quite falsely, that they'd be TERRIFIED about getting caught... right?

You'd THINK that... but clearly, you'd be wrong.

Or could it be that what Jayne claims, that illegals aren't eligible for Obamacare isn't quite true?

Nah.

He'd never lie about something like THAT.... would he?

Oregon claims it was an "accident."  You know, kinda like accidentally robbing a bank, or accidently knifing someone to death.

Those things happen.... right?

And where's the follow-up?  That they've been removed from those roles?

Seen that anywhere?

So, when Jayne sticks his keyboard into his mouth and babbles:
For many citizens, the frustration is that the United States has laws that the federal government is simply ignoring or failing to enforce. Whether it is border security or allowing illegal immigrants to scam the system and collect unwarranted benefits, the options should be clear: Enforce the laws or change them, but don’t ignore them.
To  get to that point, we need to talk. And reiterating lies won’t enhance the discussion.
There's an element of truth to that observation... but it's left me confused:  If, as he states, "...reiterating lies won't enhance the discussion," then why is he reiterating lies?

He's clearly wrong.  He clearly failed to drill down past a pro-illegal alien lawyer whose practice no doubt covers the fine art of doing what he can to keep illegals in this country... for a fee...

So how is it that Jayne refused to drill down far enough to get the truth when his positions defy common sense and reality?

We have a problem in this country with millions of illegal aliens here.  Contrary to doing more to enforce the law, government at all levels is doing all it can to accommodate, unfairly to the millions outside this country following our immigration laws and DOING IT RIGHT, the illegal alien presence.  And as a Nation, we are working much harder to keep them here and draw more of them to come here than we are to get rid of them.

There ARE benefits given to illegals.  There ARE freebies and handouts.  Illegals come across the border while pregnant SPECIFICALLY to have what's known as "anchor babies" to qualify for these billions in benefits.

Jayne didn't mention that.

What?  He didn't know?

Well, if he DIDN'T know, it's because he didn't WANT to know.

And this problem will continue until this country works as hard to stop this problem as we do to enable the problem to continue.

We can end illegal alien issues as a major problem: we can stop the stupidity of this moronic "pathway to citizenship" garbage: If you come here illegally you are forever denied that right, for example.  We can revoke the citizenship of those born here illegally.  We can end property ownership by illegal aliens.  We can treat employers of illegal aliens the same way we treat drug dealer's assets through forfeiture AND we can imprison those who actually hire illegals in violation of our laws.  We can end free medical care and education for illegals and their illegal children.  We can require proof of citizenship to register to vote and to get any form of legal identification, including driver's licenses.  We can stop the crying stupidity of, for example, allowing illegal aliens to become lawyers.

Otherwise, the Jaynes of the world will keep enabling, keep lying and continue to make the problem worse.

Stop reiterating lies, Jayne.  Seriously.
