Mike Dalesandro throws a hissy fit.

As regular readers know, Mike Dalesandro is one of your basic, fringe-left nutburgers who's trying to masquerade himself as something right of center politically, about the only hope he has of getting elected to anything in Battle Ground, including dog catcher.

Prominent on my "Do Not Elect" list for his fringe-left bias and total lack of maturity, Mikey threw a fit today because the city council has the votes to do something that HE does not want done:

Do you want cronyism and crooked back door deals determining our city leadership?

It's very close to happening....

Tomorrow night, the Battle Ground City Council will be reviewing a proposal that drastically changes the structure of our city government. A proposal that won't allow you or even City Council choose the Mayor. The proposal would automatically make the Deputy Mayor the next Mayor without a vote. Want to take a wild guess who proposed this??....our current Deputy Mayor. He has proposed his own new title and pay raise in 2014. Go figure.

But perhaps more frustrating, this deliberate, back-door attempt at a power grab is happening without even reaching out to the citizens to get their input on this important change. No public comment will be taken. No town hall meetings. I guess the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and their cronies up there think your voice doesn't matter.

Leadership has made it clear, they've got the votes to do whatever they want and voter disenfranchisement isn't off the table. The audacity is staggering! We've seen this ego-driven agenda at the Federal, State, even at the County level and now it's happening right in our own backyard!

We the people of Battle Ground should choose our Mayor. Period.

I think we the people of Battle Ground know what's best for our city, not a bunch of politicians granting favors to each other, don't you? Let's get this process out in the open and put the power in the hands of the people.

Please make your voice heard before it's too late. Call the Mayor at 360-721-4789 or the Deputy Mayor 360-921-2783 and demand a direct election of the Mayor by the people of our city. Tomorrow nights meeting is at 7pm, 2nd Floor, City Hall.

Fake outrage is so unbecoming in a political scam... I mean, campaign.

Dalesandro belongs to a local group known as "democrats" who could care less what the people of this county... or for that matter, even the city of Battle Ground want.

Or did I miss the CRC referendum that never took place?

Meanwhile, he makes a wide variety of allegations that he fails to support with, well, anything.

No links.  No documents.  No nothing to allow the people he acts so concerned about to judge for themselves.

Dalesandro's childish response to this situation is yet another proof that he shouldn't be allowed to be 3rd grade hall monitor, let alone a city councilman.
