Another week goes by, and nothing on the CRC from Brancaccio.

So, what's up with that?  Was Lou so crushed by the defeat of his CRC Scam that his crashing depression had forced him to get away, like those commercials?

For almost a decade, this slimeball has been hammering on everyone opposed to his pet idiocy: it finally get buried as it so richly deserved, and Lou's got nothing to say?

Since he's an intellectual coward, I suppose his "ignore my year's long stupidity, petulance and arrogance and it will go away" shtick is to be expected.

Much of the furtherance of this rip off and subsiquent waste of almost $200 million can be laid directly at the feet of Lightining Lou, who typically trashed or ignored CRC opposition as if it didn't exist... for years.

Had he done his job... or had his winged monkeys do theirs... Tiffany Couch's efforts, which were instrumental in scuttling this rotting ship, wouldn't have been needed.

And even when the facts began to pour out of the gaping wound of paperwork, pulled out like teeth, we get this from the moron running the rag:
There have been so many missteps on this Columbia River Crossing project that if it was entered on "Dancing With The Stars," it would be voted off before Mike Tyson. It's just mess after mess. The tomfoolery is epic. Even its most ardent supporters would agree with this. For me, I hold my nose and close my eyes, and say we should move forward.
The meaning is clear: even though he KNEW it was rotten, inside and out, he STILL supported this rip off.

That not only makes him stupid... it makes him dangerous.

It's one thing to claim ignorance, as he stupidly did on many occasions about the rising tide of opposition to his pet scam and his ongoing failure to ever do a story on the Oregon Supreme Court decision laying out that basis for the entirety of this theft being loot rail.

It's quite another to be aware of these things and CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THIS SCAM ANYWAY.

So, the simultaneous departure of both the CRC Scam AND Brancaccio... along with his ongoing silence about his multiple year-log failures to this community, led me to hope that he'd acknowledge the damage he's done and is doing... and resign.  Getting rid of both Brancaccio AND Laird would re-establish the Campbell's heretofor long missing commitment to this community instead of the downtown mafia and enable the rag to get a fresh start as they spent a few years trying to make amends.

Obviously, it was too much to hope for.

Lou did a reasonably nice piece today, once again writing about something he knows absolutely nothing about: Warriors.

But that could have waited.  And instead of addressing the 8000 pound gorilla in the room, he turned away, hoping it would just disappear.

It ain't, Lou.  Ever.  You inflicted too much pain on some, angered too many others, and did far too much damage to this community to ever allow us to forget... or forgive.

Just like, come to think of it, that simple idiot Laird, the biggest cockroach the halls of your rag has ever seen.

He and the Lazy C both owes all of us "ankle biting," "Hounds of Whinerville," "BANANA (build absolutely nothing anywhere near anything)," "Cockroaches" some deep and sincere apologies for their years of denigration, demeaning slurs and spreading of disinformation as well as trying to hide the truth about the boondoggle.

Instead, the Lazy C acts amazed now as if they just discovered BRT isn't popular either.

Gee Lou, The Columbian lost it's ass on the CRC and when you finally slither back after your well-deserved beating all you can come up with is P-A-B-L-U-M. Why didn't you just publish a poem to a Rose or a tree?

The CRC thing "hit the fan", leaving Lou covered in s***. Rather than admit it, he manufactured a feel good piece, so as to change the subject. No offense to those brave servicemen here, but they were used, in my opinion. A rather cowardly move on his part.
