Local dem newsletter throws another hissy fit.

Just like 4 years ago when the Great Female Hope was defeated in a stunning turn around by Tom Mielke after he was behind some 4000 votes on election night, Mike "Fired for getting his porn fix on at the Columbian" Heywood threw a little fit.

It was more of the typically delusional pap Heywood infected this community with for years until his porn jones (And the dems talk about the GOP's War on Women) that ultimately got him fired and likely impacted several failed efforts to get elected to something... anything.... as a result.

Heywood now wants to bring his skill set (And presumably his porn habit) to the county democrats as their chair, where that sort of thing is likely welcomed as a fund raiser.

Heywood led with this garbage:
Don’t let anyone tell you Clark County has totally slipped from blue through purple to solid red when it comes to political leanings.
Let's see.

The dems lost both commissioner races to conservative Republicans.

Eleven out of 15 legislators are Republican.

They lost every senate race outside the Soviet Socialist Republic of Vancouver.

They lost every House race outside the Soviet Socialist Republic of Vancouver.

Outside the communist environs of that cancer in Clark County known as "Vancouver," the fringe leftists lost everywhere, excepting the successful effort to elect someone to represent the teacher's union thugs.

Heywood misses the point with this nonsense:
The saddest news from the 17th LD was Jim Gizzi’s 11-point loss to the Republican incumbent he challenged.  Gizzi was a terrific candidate. His crews got plenty of signs out and kept them up, and the candidate was articulate and thoughtful. He should have done better and very well could have with sufficient support.
Signs don't get people elected.  If they did, Benton would would have been elected to and would still be in Congress.  The question is: Heywood acknowledges the lack of support.  Why didn't Gizzi Get It?

At least he acknowledges the usual democrat weaknesses of the 14th, 18th and 20th where no democrat got within light years of election, nor are they likely to during our life times.

The most moronic thing Heywood spewed of many?
The most painful news was in the two races for seats on the Board of Clark County Commissioners where Democratic incumbent Steve Stuart hoped to get a little help. As expected, the wealthy Republican tycoon from Stoney Meadows mansion farm bought the seat formerly held by Marc Boldt.
Gee.  I wonder if the democrats felt that way about that Microsoft millionaire that spent over 3 million to win her congressional seat in the 1st District.

Is it bad for Madore to spend his money but for this democrat to spend in excess of 1000% more to win hers?

Or is that just some more of Heywood's Hypocrisy?

And why no mention of who was running, planning, managing and paying for Boldt's campaign?

What's up with that?
Not so expected was Tom Mielke’s defeat of Democrat Joe Tanner, whose great signs blanketed the county. We Democrats should be scratching our heads and sorting through precinct tallies for months to figure out how that went wrong.
Here, Mike, let me save you the trouble:

Your support of the CRC scam/rip off got your people killed.

Had Olson came out swinging against the CRC scam, she'd have won going away... like Tom and David won going away.

And that's "what went wrong."  You clowns support the hated-by-most rip off of an unwanted, unneeded and unaffordable project that will indebt this region for decades.

And you were clobbered by those you actually intend to force to pay... all, of course, without asking them.

Let me know if I can help again, would you?  Thanks.
