It is, possibly, one thing to know your president lies because he has to.... national security concerns.... a strategic feint.... something of that sort.
Think in terms of Rossevelt claiming that the Doolittle Raid had taken off from our secret base at Shangra La, for example.
It's qiuite another when the scumbag-in-chief lies because of some self-destructuve political reason, specifically that he fearts if the word "terrorism" is associated with his inept foreign policies, he and his mpeople can stand there looking ionto the cameras and lie. And then lie again. And then lie some more.
The psychopathic element of lying... and continuing to lie until even Obama figured it out, shows clearly that if this scumbag will lie about the death of an American ambassador, he will literally lie about anything and everything... which, come to think of it, pretty much seems to be the "Bayonet" Obama meme.
And what makes it work for the Keystone Cop Obama Administration is that, now fully caught lying about Benghazi, they go on and compound the error by lying about their lies, proving once again that the attempt to cover it up is frequently worse than the problem itself.
The election is here: the people have had enough, and adults are going back into control.
The problem with lying is that inevitably, when a light is shined on the lies, the truth comes out.
Obama apparently didn't know that. But if he didn't... he does now.
White House told of militant claim two hours after Libya attack: emails
WASHINGTON |
(Reuters) - Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.
The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.
The brief emails also show how U.S. diplomats described the attack, even as it was still under way, to Washington.
U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Benghazi assault, which President Barack Obama and other U.S. officials ultimately acknowledged was a "terrorist" attack carried out by militants with suspected links to al Qaeda affiliates or sympathizers.
Administration spokesmen, including White House spokesman Jay Carney, citing an unclassified assessment prepared by the CIA, maintained for days that the attacks likely were a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film.More:
On the tombstone of the Obama Administration, "pathetic" will figure prominently as a descriptor.
