Well, damn... THAT didn't take long, long, did it?
The blowback was immediate and harsh: and the democrats caved.
And that's a shame... but it's also too damned late.
We know what they meant. We know how they felt.
Ramming this crap through over the top just re-enforces the old saw that there's two things people don't want to see, sausage and legislation... or in this case, the lie of the democrat platform.
