Today's Update: Boldt falls .02, but still safe for the general; Benton, Madore and Mielke all extend their leads.

Boldt tailed off slightly to 29.48% but extends his count to 314 over Battan.  The right break continues for Madore, who now leads Boldt with 32.59% and a 628 vote lead.

Benton's lead grows to slightly over 4% and 848 votes as Probst falls to 47%.

Mielke's lead continues to grow with 43.24% of the vote, now up around 3700 votes over Tanner; 43.24% to 28.94% as Tanner falls below 29% for the first time.

All other GOP candidates outside the 49th had leads the grew slightly and likely will continue to grow more by small amounts.

Now, the focus shifts county-wide for the commissioner candidates and at this point, my take is a lean for both Madore and Mielke.

Defeating Boldt as a Republican should be the main concern of the GOP in Clark County.  He cannot continue claiming that he's in the party while voting in lockstep with democrats and democrat interests.
