In case you're wondering where the $770 million for loot rail went: it went here.
. Of all the assinine, unbelieveable, unconstitutional bills/laws/rules I have EVER heard... this has to take the cake.
I've been to those places, and I've talked with those people. America would be well-served to simply STAY AWAY from foreign entanglements. Financial aid is counter-productive. Food aid is counter-productive. The only thing that seems to work is "Doctors Without Borders."
The people who authorize foreign aid are obviously trying to bribe someone - which is against U.S. law. Some folks need to go to jail.
"Osama bin Laden is popular in poor countries because he helped pay for schools, roads and even day care centers."
"We haven't done that. How would they look at us today if we had been there helping them with some of that rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan?"

I believe that is a large part of the answer, Martin.
Is Patty Murray a trained psychologist? Does she travel extensively? Why should I have any respect for her demagoguery? It frustrates me that most politicians are unqualified to speak intelligently about important issues.
