"Getting this right:" The rag and the CRC continue to get it wrong.

.
So, we have yet another alternative getting shilled by the swindle sheet.

Odd, isn't it? Whenever anyone brings up the best plan, that of additional bridges located several miles up stream from the I-5 Bridge and out of the Camas-Washougal area, the democratian snivels: That was considered and rejected by the CRC, move on.

Well, this shows that the fact that the CRC has considered something is as worthless and as much a waste as the CRC itself. Draw a pretty picture of a bridge somewhere else that still gets loot rail over the river? All of a sudden, these clowns are considering it.

The article in question uses a sub-heading: "Getting this right." The irony of this phrase isn't to be denied.

You cannot get it right by replacing a bridge that doesn't need replacement.

That's the dichotomy of all of this.

The I-5 Bridge is perfectly serviceable and safe, according to Don Wagner, former Region 6 WADOT administrator.

Wagner said he has no doubts the existing crossings are safe , so much so that he drives and cycles across the spans without hesitation.

"If we don't have an earthquake of any magnitude, those two bridges are going to stay there until something hits them," he said.

Replacing the current bridge is being done for two reasons: to bring loot rail into Clark County and to give the downtown mafia's union masters a job at horrific public expense.

If this swindle is ever completed, what are commuters going to do when they back up just as far, if not farther, then they do today?

And what about the 65,000 commuters and their families who will get raped by those cheering the loudest over this steaming, heaping pile... a pile they will largely not have to pay for, making it oh so easy for them to waste over $100,000,000 to date?

"Getting this right" means no loot rail.

"Getting this right" means additional bridges in other locations.

But those concepts don't fit into the democratian's agenda.

And we all know what happens when you don't fit in to the rag's agenda, don't we?

Read more lies, exaggerations and bloviation as the local stain on the journalistic science continues their Völkischer Beobachter efforts to get people to believe this crap is a good idea.

Don't forget, the developer of the waterfront project has come out whining that the proposed 8-story I-5 bridge will obstruct the view of Mt. Hood, making one of their selling points for high end occupancy of that other boondoggle harder to sell.

That might account for part of the reason they, all of a sudden, are thinking of another bridge upstream.
