Shooting ourselves in the foot: The Oregonian sees the idiocy of I-1098.

.
Even the train wreck to our immediate south sees the stupidity of voting in I-1098. How someone allegedly with brains and an income that would likely be raped by this scam can't see it is beyond me.

Calling it a "self-inflected wound," Oregon salivates at the thought of the people of this state shooting themselves in the foot by approving this idiocy.

"It's unquestionably a dramatic change that could have an impact on the business climate in Oregon," says Bill Ahern, communications and policy director at The Tax Foundation, a non-partisan research center. "When a competitor gives themselves a self-inflicted wound, I guess you just wait and cheer."

There is absolutely no justification for this pillaging of our economy to expand government even beyond the bloated blimp we have now.

Oregon knows it.

Do you?
