Those who voted for this scam without reading it... and NO ONE on the board read it BEFORE they voted FOR it... should be horsewhipped, tared and feathered and then run them out of town on a rail.

There's no doubt about one thing, though:  "And (Slimeball) said it before: I don't speak for the people.. I will NEVER speak for "the people," I speak for Steve and some of you are going to agree with me and some of you aren't."

What is the rag going to do about this malfeasance/misfeasance?  What demands are they going to make of the 5 scumbags who did this to us?

None.

They will make no demands of the slimeballs who did this to us.  They will do nothing.

They will certainly not apologize to Commissioner Madore who, of course, was right all along.

Because while, in a sober moment, even Lefty Lou would admit that they acted like scum, in reality, he doesn't care.

He will either do nothing or next to nothing, like he's buried much mention of the ass-kicking the CRC Pimps took in the last election.

Because that's the situational ethics of Lefty Lou and the cancerous influence on our community that he runs.

None of this will make any difference to the downtown mafia/CRC Pimps/Identity Vancouver/Chamber of Horrors/CRUDEC types.  They don't give a rat's ass what the people of this community think, want or say.

Which why we don't give a rat's ass what THEY say.

The very idea they would do this to us... unconscionable lies, underhanded dishonesty... ethically bankrupt.

Commissioner Stuart: you have no idea how much I'm looking forward to any effort you make to run for office.

Once you announce, I will devote every waking hour to defeating you.  And it will be a pleasure to watch you lose.

The scum who voted for this contract merely serves to prove what most people knew all along:  That the scum who voted for this garbage: Slimeball Stuart, The Liar Leave-it, Larry "Screw the people" Smith,  Bart "I'm Bought" Hansen and Ron "Busted Eye" Onslow are a disgrace to this community and will be forever known for their corruption and their hatred of the will of the people.

More is coming.  But in what Lew Waters rightfully calls "an accident of journalism," the details of the contract were finally forced out into the open and the stench is overwhelming.

The CRC Pimps, if they were possessed of any honor, would renounce this travesty.  But the scum of the downtown mafia and the scum who voted for this fecal contract have neither honor or shame.

Here's the low-down... and thanks to Sen. Ann Rivers and the Freedom Foundation fro putting this garbage pile out into the open... so we can all see...  and be horrified... by the details and the history of this slimy, underhanded bullshit.

A controversial light-rail contract inked in September was still being changed hours before the C-Tran Board of Directors approved it, and board members never saw the actual agreement before the vote was taken, according to records released by the agency this month.

Board members approved the plan Sept. 26. The heads of C-Tran and TriMet signed the contract the next day. But many citizens have objected to the deal — and the process by which it was formed — that marked a big win for the Columbia River Crossing at the time.

Even some C-Tran leaders have expressed surprise at how the fast-tracked series of events played out.

"I didn't even know (C-Tran Executive Director Jeff Hamm) was going to sign it," said C-Tran board chairman Bill Ganley, a Battle Ground City Council member.

"This went a lot faster than I thought it was going to go," he added.

The deal spelled out how C-Tran and TriMet would operate light rail in Vancouver as part of the CRC. It was largely hammered out during a two-week span in September, when C-Tran resumed work on the Interstate 5 Bridge replacement at the direction of its board.

C-Tran is in the process of releasing hundreds of emails and other documents related to the contract, TriMet and the CRC. The disclosures come in response to public records requests by state Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, and the Freedom Foundation, an Olympia-based policy group.

Rivers said she is still sifting through volumes of records, hoping to shed light on behind-the-scenes discussions that preceded the vote.

"Just so many questions, and so many things that just don't add up to me," Rivers said. "So sometimes you have to dig to get the information."

Draft not released

In the days leading up to a special C-Tran board meeting, emails show C-Tran and TriMet staff bounced drafts of the contract back and forth as details were finalized. That continued into the afternoon of Sept. 26, before the board voted 5-4 to approve the agreement that evening.

The week of the meeting, Republican Clark County Commissioner and C-Tran board member David Madore requested all records and communications related to light rail and the CRC from the previous two weeks, "even if they are in draft form." C-Tran responded Sept. 25 with a batch of email and documents, including drafts of a term sheet showing many details of the contract.

In fact, he's still pickling up pieces of his own skull because his hated-by Peg-anti-ballpark nemesis,  Republican Commissioner Tom Mielke, crushed Joe Tanner in his recent re-election... winning by a paltry 6,000 votes or so...  And roughly 21,000 more votes than Peggy's unlamented hero, Marc Boldt.

So, Peggy... you like going over to Hillsboro to watch the Yakima Millionaires play?  I know *I* do!

And guess who got his ass kicked in the most recent election for school board here in Hockinson?  Why, Ron Arp, Yakima Millionaire's mouthpiece!  I'm sure THAT stupidity on his part had NOTHING to do with it... right?

Every once in awhile, Peggy comes by to dump a load.  He'll never get over the fact that I kicked his ass in on the ballpark scam, so I get that he's just the tiniest bit resentful when he's made to look like a blithering idiot on so many things... like the ballpark scam and now, the CRC buffoonery.

For whatever the reason... maybe he's got a sadomasochistic streak or something, he decided to get stuck on stupid today, and come out and play, making the utterly bizarre and indefensible claim that a majority of the people did NOT vote against his... and Mikey's... pet rip off.

As I say, it's been awhile since he's come slinking around here... usually, when I see his name, I just hit the "delete" button and let it go at that.

But I was bored, and his post was so incredibly bizarre, inept and downright stupid that I pondered, "what the hell," and I thought I'd jam him... again... and make him look like a blithering idiot... again... and just generally finish the job of having his head explode because he's shown up to be a complete moron... again.

But after this, he goes back to being relegated  to the shitter... where, he so obviously, belongs.

Here's Peggy's blather:

Hardly a majority against the CRC, moron.  Only 38% of eligible voters voted.  68% of those voted yes on a meaningless vote.  That's a little over 25% of eligible voters and even less of the adult population in Clark County.  You think THAT represents the majority?  Hardly, moron.  Go back to grade school and learn some math, moron.

First lie:

The vote tally:

The overall "against loot rail" vote was 68.4% (60,409 out of 88,000 or so)

As "no on any subject" votes go, that's a political massacre of old school proportions.

The vote by precinct:

Clark County has 228 precincts.  Of those 228, 223 precincts voted against loot rail... or, against both Peggy and his boyfriend's position on the rip off.

Now, I understand that Peggy and reality are rarely found within 20 miles of each other, but I don't need to interpret these numbers at all.  They speak for themselves, and Peggy's bizarre efforts to use numbers to buttress his Twilight Zone positions shows that for Peg, time and space in fact do NOT have any meaning... and it again shows that while Peggy's figures don't lie, liars certainly do figure.

Back in the day of the fake democratian poll on loot rail, the sample for that series of lies was 400.

Stupidly enough, the CRC Pimps used that poll as if Moses had brought it down from the Mount.  Never mind that, for the most part, the actual election showed it to be fantasy as it wasn't capable of adequately measuring the depth of the hatred for loot rail.

So, in Peggy's world of self-delusion, a poll with a sampling of 400 was somehow great, while an actual election poll with a sampling of 88,000 did not equate to a majority.

Folks, that kind of reasoning requires a SPECIAL kind of stupid.

Second Lie:

That I'm a "moron."

If I were, in fact, a "moron" as Peggy is fond, apparently, of suggesting, then how is it that every time he crawls out from under his rock, I pound him like a nail?

Could a "moron" do that?  And if a "moron" could do that, where does that put Peggy on the scale?

Third lie:

That it matters if it were 25% or 25 million % of the eligible voters.

Again, this was an election.  It's very difficult to believe that first, it matters what the non-voting public thinks or second, that this sample of  37.6% of the voting public isn't anything close to representative of that population as a whole.

You can bet that the simple idiot sitting in the White House is paying attention to daily polling with a far smaller sample size then THAT.

Fourth Lie:

"And even less of the adult population of Clark County."

God only knows what this babble of his means.  Once again, the only people who matter are those who show up.  Those hating Peggy and Mikey's position on this extortion showed up.

He needs to both get over and get past it.

Fifth Lie:

That the results do not, somehow "represent that majority."

They absolutely do represent the majority.  Here's the thing, idiot-stick: this wasn't a bond or levy vote.  There was no minimum vote requirement.  The majority absolutely was represented by that vote, which is obvious to anyone save those matching Peggy's self-description.

You know...  Moron?

Sixth observation:

Peggy is obsessed by the word "moron."  But, I suppose being a moron, he naturally would be.

Those delusional enough to pimp for the CRC are, in fact, possessed of this kind of diseased thinking... they'd have to be.

They also have a great many other options, such as moving to that communist utopia of Portland.  That way they can live on... or even more attractively, UNDER the loot rail tracks.

Thanks for swinging by, Peggy.  Always look forward to blowing so many holes in your bizarre perspective that it couldn't hold a Diet Coke in without leaking all over the floor.  Pounding your idiocy like a drum keeps me tuned up.

A lawmaker is bringing his brand of justice to the homeless problem, in Hawaii, with a sledgehammer. Rep. Tom Brower appears to have the typical mindset of liberals in using violence to solve a problem.

During the past two weeks, Brower was seen smashing the shopping carts homeless people use with a sledgehammer on the streets of Honolulu. Many have branded him a vigilante because of his actions.
He told CNN affiliate KITV, "I get a lot of complaints about stolen and abandoned shopping carts in Waikiki, and I was thinking as a public servant, what can I do that would be practical, and I can literally do overnight."

The state lawmaker is trying to clear the city of homeless people by targeting what meager possessions they own. A lot of them use shopping carts to transport their belongings, but now Brower has turned to violence to stop them. He uses his "sledgehammer of justice" to smash the front wheels of the carts rendering them immovable.

Most of us realize the carts aren't actually the property of the homeless, but does that justify Brower's actions? According to him, it does. Brower claims to have smashed 30 shopping carts since starting his campaign, against the homeless, in late Oct.

Brower claims, "I'm not doing anything different than doing a community cleanup, or what the city's administration has tried to do with the issue of people illegally camping on the streets, I'm just doing it quicker."
