Congresswoman Herrera: still waiting on your women in combat position.

You should have picked up the memo giving it to you by now: can you let us in on it?

Friday, January 25, 2013

What's Jaime Herrera think about women in combat? Don't know... she hasn't been told, yet.

Courage and Jaime Herrera can't ever be simultaneously be found in the same location at the same time.

In fact, her lack of guts, previously illustrated by her continuing failure to hold open town hall meetings, was accented today with this little blurb:
Herrera Beutler waiting to share her stance on women in combat

It was huge news when it broke earlier this week: the Pentagon is ending its policy that excludes women from the front lines of combat.
When reached for comment about this policy change, U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, said she's waiting until May to share her stance on whether the military should allow women in combat.
"The branches of the military will present their plans for integrating women into combat roles in May, and I will review that plan," she said by email. "My number one priority for our military is to ensure the efficient operation of our troops in combat."
Despite the Pentagon's old policy, women have found themselves in combat. In the recent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, 152 U.S. servicewomen died
Because she hasn't been told what it's supposed to be, yet.

Shouldn't the "path to citizenship" start with obeying our laws?

I suppose when we're cursed by both a Congress of a type that would have Ridgefield Barbie in it and a White House that seems populated by total sellouts, this kind of idiocy is inevitable.

What we have here is a short-sighted "solution" that solves absolutely not one damned thing and which will, in aggregate, make the lives of Americans worse.... not better.

Isn't it the responsibility of our government to act in such a way where Americans can have a better life?

Then why is it they seem ever so much more concerned about the criminals infesting us?

We're confronted with what amounts to a catastrophe.  And instead of meeting this challenge with force.... instead of doing the right thing.... instead of enforcing the law.... instead of innovation and holding those accountable who enable this debacle... what do we do as a "fix?"

We reward those who break our laws.

How stupid is that?

Ultimately, the questions have to be asked: what is the ultimate goal here?

So far, we've been lucky to a degree.  The last time this idiocy took place, during the Reagan Administration, that action promised to fix illegal immigration for all time.  Illegals have only raped, robbed and murdered so many of us that the number is unimportant to the slime making this decision.

So.... how'd that work out for us?

Someone much wiser than I defined insanity in a well-known way.... it's to do the same things, over and over... while somehow, expecting a different outcome.

Well?  Did that happen?

Of course not.  Because when we abandon principle.... when we ignore our own laws.... when we continue to make the United States THE destination resort of illegal aliens, what do they expect to happen?

What do they expect to happen now?

Do they expect that rewarding illegal aliens with this horrific program will somehow stop future illegals from wanting to come here.... and, in fact, actually doing so?

Why wouldn't they come here?  This is the brass ring for the poor.  With all the programs we have in place... like IN-STATE TUITION FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS.... why wouldn't they want to come here?

Look, here's the reality: the amnesty program RINO Rubio and McCain and so on advocate will avail them nothing politically.  Rubio desperately wants to be in the White House.  He's pandering here at the cost to the American people of dumping millions of illegals into our laps that we will have to pay for.

And he's doing it all for him.

Not for us.

And here's the problem:  EVEN IF THIS SCAM MAKES IT THROUGH.... THERE WILL STILL BE MILLIONS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS HERE.

MILLIONS.

They won't apply.  They won't qualify.  They'll miss the cutoff.  They won't be able to afford to pay "back taxes" or a "fine" (Yeah, right...)

THEN WHAT?  WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH THEM?

Nothing.  Because this same lack of logic... this same garbage heap of a "fix," will be applied to those who don't... or won't.... make the cut.

But the scum shilling this want to make us believe that it will... that somehow, magically, millions more will stop coming.

Are you fricking KIDDING ME????

It will cost those of us actually paying taxes BILLIONS, of course.  Social service costs like welfare and Medicade and Medicare will skyrocket.  Schools, already overcrowded, will explode both in size and the need for ESL teachers.

And here's John McCain complaining about how the GOP doesn't get the Hispanic vote, stupidly failing to understand that even if this garbage is fully implemented, they STILL won't get that vote.  For a case study, just look at RINO Rob McKenna or RINO Reagan Dunn.  They both pandered to the fringe left in about every imaginable way.  And what did it get them?

Look, I'll be the first to admit that minorities are typically racist voters.  They will vote for another minority ONLY because he/she is another minority.

See, 95% of the black voters in this country voted for the half-white Barack Obama ONLY because he is a SPECTACULAR president.  Get it?

A few more (as a percentage) may vote for RINO Rubio (although I will never do so) because of his name and skin color: but the majority of these people will continue to vote democrat because they have become democrat dependencies.  They trade their freedom for stuff... and all of us lose as a result.

And women?  They're the same.  Women will vote their gender much more than most people know... it's good for a 3 to 5% bump in most elections.

In fact, the only people not allowed to vote their race or gender are white males.  Because if we were to do that, it would be racist and/or bigoted.

To put a point on it, the GOP effort to screw us here aids and abets the dem effort to do the same.

It's almost exactly like the CRC: they both want to waste billions, accomplish nothing, and they're doing it in the name of political expediency.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should have absolutely nothing to do with a "pathway to citizenship."  Because the first step in that journey shouldn't be in violation of the laws that you obviously don't give a rat's ass about.

I WELCOME LEGAL immigration.  But I DESPISE the idea that because someone choses to come here and break our laws they should get any special treatment of any kind as a result in the face of the millions around the world who can't.

That waste of skin in the White House is all ABOUT "fairness."  So, tell me: what, exactly, is "fair" about this scam?  What is "fair" about rewarding those pissing on our laws while penalizing those who don't VIOLATE our laws by forcing them to wait years for what those here illegally have now?

It's not only NOT "fair," it's immoral and unethical.  And that the GOP or anyone IN it would support that...

Yes, legal immigration is tough, expensive and it takes a long time.  But so what?

This is the UNITED STATES.  You want to come here?

It SHOULD BE tough.  It SHOULD BE expensive.  And it should take at least a decade... just like it does for those actually OBEYING OUR LAWS.  AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAY IF YOU GOT HERE ILLEGALLY.

Adding 30 or 40 million more people we cannot afford (These criminals will, of course, be able to get visas for their extended families once they go through the process, you see) by rewarding them is not the way.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to eliminating any program that makes this an attractive option.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to the confiscation, imprisonment and fines for those who hire illegals.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to requiring schools and hospitals to identify illegal aliens and notify ICE so they can deport them.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to disqualifying anyone here illegally from EVER becoming a citizen or legal resident.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to making it illegal for illegals to own property, or to sell them property.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to eliminating illegals from our school and social program systems.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" should be limited to refusing housing to anyone who can't prove their status.

If you take THESE steps, the illegal alien problem will take care of itself... because they will leave of their own accord.

If you FAIL to take these steps, as we failed the LAST time we did a "cure all," then 10, or 20, or 30 years from now.... guess what?

If we survive as a Nation?

We'll be doing this all over again.

Because the Rubio Ripoff solves nothing.  It accomplishes, nothing.  And it stops.... nothing.

It will cost us billions and billions.  It will increase over-crowding in our frequently already over-crowded schools and prisons.  It will take millions of jobs away from American citizens... much like, come to think of it, they do now.

But the Rubio Ripoff will do absolutely nothing to solve the problem, which is to end the idea that all you have to do is cross the border.... and you've got it made.

Short-sighted legislation rarely does.

The idiocy of the Boy Scouts and the super-human homos.

So, the BSA looks like it's stupidly going to cave on the homosexuality issue, for whatever the reason because there really is no excuse.

The JAWA report weighs in on this idiocy:

January 29, 2013

The Homosexual Superhumans and the BSA

So, the Boy Scouts of America is contemplating letting openly gay men serve as Scout leaders?
This is the dumbest thing I've heard gay rights advocates push for -- ever.
The idea that a gay man should go camping with a bunch of teenage boys? Yeah, that's insane.
Not because homosexuals are predatory by nature. Not because they are going to lure impressionable youths into the gay lifestyle. Foolishness, all.
Gays aren't any worse than the next man when it comes to normal human impulses. But they certainly aren't any better.
Would you let me take your 14 year old daughter camping? Kind of seems inappropriate.
So, you acknowledge that no matter how decent of a guy I might be, because I am a normal man subject to normal male passions, it's probably not a great idea for me and my buddy -- let's say, Howie -- to take a group of 14 - 15 year old girls on a camp out. Don't forget to bring a pillow for the mandatory pillow fight!
It's creepy.
Yet somehow homosexual men are exempt from normal male passions? Gay men aren't tempted by 14 - 15 year old boys?
To believe this is to believe that gays are better than straights. That gays are, in fact, superhuman.
That's what the idiots who think gays should be allowed to lead Scout troops fundamentally believe.
Yes, it is discriminatory to not let gays lead Scout troops. It's also discriminatory to not let men lead Girl Scout troops.
Some discrimination has a basis in fact, experience, and human nature.
An adult male that is attracted to a teenage girl is not, in fact, a child molester or pedophile. A pedophile is one who is attracted to prepubescent children. And while some Boy Scouts are in their per-adolescent years (Cub Scouts), camping trips are usually limited to older Scouts -- those who are squarely in their teen years.
It is normal for adult males to be attracted to teenage girls. While this attraction may be normal, acting on these attractions certainly isn't since sexual maturity isn't necessarily connected to social maturity, moral maturity, or psychological maturity.
This is why we have statutory rape laws and why even consensual relationships of this type are considered immoral and are therefore illegal.
More:

This is a bad idea... a horrific idea.  It will not only cause thousands to leave scouting, it will cut off donations AND cost the BSA millions when kids are assaulted as they inevitably will be.

This is a fundamental shift in everything the Scouts are supposed to stand for, and it is the announcement of their demise.

It's tough when you have a psychopathic liar as president: he shoots off his mouth more than he shoots skeet.

It's to our misfortune that we have a psychopathic megalomaniac as president of the United States.

The man lies so often that he wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the ass.

Further, he doesn't know the difference between a firing pin and a bowling pin.

He is, historically, a despicable human being who has done far more harm then good to this country, who has inflicted pain on us that will last for generations; who has corrupted the presidency and lied to the American people with a frightening ease.

And now this:

This is a result from his knee-jerk lie of yesterday:
By Meghashyam Mali - 01/27/13 07:40 AM ET
President Obama says he regularly skeet shoots at Camp David and called on gun-control proponents to “do a little more listening” to gun owners in the national debate over firearms.
In an interview with The New Republic posted on Sunday Obama said that he and guests “do skeet shooting all the time” at the presidential retreat and said he understood why many rural voters were protective of their gun-ownership rights.
More:

So many bald-faced lies is so few paragraphs.

I'm not going to suggest that all presidents lie to a degree.  But none have lied so badly, so stupidly, and hurt this Nation so much as Barack Obama.

He makes me ashamed of my government.

I'd list the lies, the crime, the corruption, the debt that will, ironically, enslave future generations who are likely never to know anything approaching a debt-free country.

But I've only got a 24 hour day to work with, and only so much space on my blog.

Ironic, isn't it?

The example this moron sets?  What would happen to a family.... any family.... who lived like Obama lives?

While going bankrupt, weekly parties on the taxpayer dime at the White House.  Lavish vacations on the taxpayer's dime, even when our economy was at it's worst.  The idea of "shared sacrifice" from an asocial man who wouldn't know "sacrifice" if it bit his nose off.

A man who hates the military with a passion, who disrespects those both serving... and who have served... with his actions towards the military, including social engineering that will unnecessarily spill our blood while this simple moron guts our capabilities to pay off his base with "stuff...." over freedom.

There's not even a light at the end of this guy's tunnel, because he's extinguished it.

Hopefully, he won't extinguish us with it.

Think Jaime Herrera-Beutler is Conservative? Think again.

Jaime Herrera has been an unmitigated disaster as a legislator and congresscritter, ever since Cathy McMorris parachuted her back in here and Marc Boldt arranged to get her the appointment to the House even though she'd been gone for 11 years and had never held a private sector job in her life.

I say "unmitigated" only in the sense that, for whatever the reason, she's been able to play the "bright, shiny object" card so very well that the guys at the Lazy C (And those boys who were PCO's in Cowlitz.... right, Shannon?) were so enamored of this waste of skin.  For one example, from the moment she scammed her way to the appointment, the rag has been portraying her thus:

18th District seat filled by young conservative

Friday, November 30, 2007
BY MICHAEL ANDERSEN, Columbian staff writer

A young "family values" conservative with a glowing résumé was named Thursday to succeed former Rep. Richard Curtis in Washington's 18th Legislative District.

Four of the six commissioners in Clark and Cowlitz counties voted to appoint Jaime Herrera, 29, a Prairie High School graduate working as a legislative aide for U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Colville.

"Every step I have taken since high school has been preparing me for this," she said at Thursday's hearing, her voice cracking slightly. "There is not a job in the world I would rather have."  (Except, of course, Congress.... right? -ed)
And so on...  (The boldfaced print is just one of her many lies)

Conservative.

That's what Herrera ain't.

And who says so now?

THE most worthless Secretary of State this nation generally, and this state particularly, has ever known.

Here is an email from Reed, crowing about the BJ the local rag gave Herrera over dumping GOP principles whenever it suited her... though not so much lately since she's seen a glimpse of Madore's 12 gauge check book aimed at her political career.  Reed, a complete idiot, can't help crow about his success in getting his fellow scum to endorse yet another RINO who views conservatism like it was a yeast infection:

Mainstreamers –

Here’s a good article about Jaime Herrera Beutler.  I remember there were skeptics among the Mainstream Republicans when I advocated that we endorse her in 2010.  She is fulfilling my expectations.

That's right, Sam. She's been a full-blown RINO, as worthless in Congress as you were in Olympia.

Herrera Beutler shows centrist streak as she ascends in House

U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas
Sunday, January 20, 2013

To say Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler's political career has taken off during the past five years might be an understatement.
In five years' time — the amount of time it takes most college students to earn a bachelor's degree — the Camas Republican became a legislator in the state House of Representatives, successfully ran for Congress twice and recently was named to the U.S. House's coveted federal-spending committee. That appointment gives her more authority over the Columbia River Crossing project.
Part of the 34-year-old's success might come from the fact that her diverse background is seen as advantageous for the Republican Party, especially in a time when the party is working to re-brand itself. But a more important key to her success, her supporters and colleagues say, is that Herrera Beutler is an energetic and practical leader who balances party loyalty with the needs of an often independently minded district.
"People have recognized her as the talent that she is," Herrera Beutler's former boss, U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Spokane, said recently. "I'm always impressed that Jaime is quick to speak up, and she recognizes that it's her responsibility to speak up on behalf of the people she represents."
Although Southwest Washington's 3rd Congressional District became more conservative following last year's redrawing of voter boundaries, those across the aisle from Herrera Beutler say her ability to stay in office will depend on whether she's able to distance herself from the rigid conservative ideology that sometimes exists within her party.
There's more to this pap, but this bit of it is sickening enough as it is.

They support her because she's been a liar and a hack FOR the CRC.

Check the record: what, exactly, has she done to stop it or hold those ripping us off accountable?

Absolutely, positively, nothing.

But that's not the point.  The point in this post is that the mainstream slime like Reed are licking her boots.  And they are not doing that because she's a staunch defender of conservatism.

In fact, it's unlikely that Ridgefield Barbie even knows what the word means.
