Comparisons between Tim "The Liar" Leavitt and Barack "The Empty Suit" Obama. Could a teleprompter be next?

.
The first one is obvious. They agree on everything, which is why the The Liar was an early endorser of The Empty Suit. I'm sure the fringe-right whack jobs with their situational ethics who signed on to a campaign run by local democrats (including the county democrat chair) are thrilled!

And how well THAT vision has worked! What a spectacular failure The Empty Suit has been, out-Cartering even the most hopeless moron to ever sit in the White House!

The second one is equally obvious. Both The Liar and The Empty Suit are consummate liars.

The list of Obama's outright lies dwarfs even his massive and false exaggerations.

With The Liar, the moment he started lying about his support of tolling the bridges (and he does support tolling BOTH of the bridges) as a way to replace (no matter how unnecessarily) the I-5 Bridge so he and his fellow henchmen can bring loot rail into the first few feet of Vancouver; he totally became Obama's shadow.

And his last second, late surprise package of trying to force everyone alive in a 3 county area to pay for a bridge and light rail we don't need by raising ALL of our property taxes.... why, that was the master stroke! It's the same thing as the moron in the White House scamming us all in health care!

The only thing missing from the package, besides a Klingon princess wife, is a teleprompter or two.

But The Liar couldn't be THAT stupid, could he? I mean, then I'd change his dwarfish little name to TelePrompter Timmy... and wouldn't THAT be rich?

When MY Army REALLY PISSES ME OFF: Hasan's former commander let him continue because "he would not be doing any real patient care."

,
The next time the leadership of the US Military is looking around, scratching their collective asses, trying to figure out why so few, relatively speaking, seek mental health help for their trauma and PTSD, they might want to look hard at this quote:
One of Hasan's commanding officers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Lieutenant Colonel Melanie Guerrero, told investigators she had considered failing him as an intern but "decided to allow him to pass since he was going into psychiatry and would not be doing any real patient care."

If I could wave my magic wand, LTC Guerrero would immediately be reassigned to a Manila whorehouse, treating syphilitics where, she so obviously belongs. But I would not let her within 5 miles of anyone serving in the military today.

This sorry bitch needs to be relieved IMMEDIATELY, and then she needs to both be kicked out, AND required to repay the Army (meaning us taxpayers) for all of the money we WASTED in training HER dumb ass and promoting HER idiotic efforts to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

This issue is even seperate from the stupidity of just passing someone, not because they deserved it, BUT BECAUSE THIS MORON DIDN'T THINK THEY'D BE PRACTICING REAL MEDICINE.

Here's the article. Read it for yourself.

Major Nidal Hasan seemed worried about the results of an HIV blood test taken a week before the Fort Hood shooting rampage, according to federal investigators piecing together background details on Hasan's life.

The suspected gunman in the massacre at Fort Hood, Texas, Nov. 5, 2009, was identified by ABC News as Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. He appears here in a Defense Department photograph.
(Handout)

The information came from a member of the Fort Hood medical staff who was in the building where Hasan is accused of opening fire on November 5 and killing 13 people.

The investigators said there was no indication that Hasan was HIV positive, although a bottle of medicine used to treat HIV-positive individuals, Combivir, was seen in Hasan's apartment by ABC News last week. Medical experts say many doctors also have Combivir on hand in case of an accidental needle stick. A second drug seen in the apartment, clarithromycin, is an antibiotic designed to treat respiratory infections. However, it can also be used to treat specific opportunistic infections in patients with HIV.

Hasan, who is not married, was a regular at a Killeen, Texas strip club which features nude dancers, according to employees there.

Investigators also found that Hasan donated $20,000 to $30,000 a year to overseas Islamic "charities." As an Army major, his yearly salary, including housing and food allowances, was approximately $92,000. A number of Islamic charities have been identified by U.S. authorities as conduits to terror groups.

Investigators said Hasan followed his own strict interpretation of how a Muslim should live -- including driving without auto insurance or signing up for life insurance provided through the military.

His academic record is replete with serious concerns about his religious statements and his academic abilities, the investigators found.

One of Hasan's commanding officers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Lieutenant Colonel Melanie Guerrero, told investigators she had considered failing him as an intern but "decided to allow him to pass since he was going into psychiatry and would not be doing any real patient care."

Guerrero told ABC News his performance problems stemmed from his lack of competence in the intensive care unit, including problems with recommending the proper medications or coming up with the right kind of patient treatment plan.

How the hell can ANYONE serving in the military have ANY confidence in ANY of these morons after this?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a reliably identified picture of the woman in question, one Lt. Col Melanie Guerrero, MD but her info is easy enough to find.

Give her a call and let her know what you think of her. I know I am.

So, when you're awaiting the verdict on cancer, it's a great time to think about what's important .

.
A few days ago, a large chunk was taken out of the middle of my back (between my shoulder blades) as an enhanced biopsy for some variety of melanoma.

"Enhanced" in this instance means much larger than the usual amount from the area where an initial, much smaller piece of a suspect mole was removed.

Now, there's a bunch of stitches, bandages that have to be replaced every 6 hours... and waiting.

I won't be particularly surprised, regardless of the outcome. I served almost a decade in Combat Arms in an outdoor environment, and I did that long before the advent of sunscreen or concern over skin cancer as a result of exposure to the sun. I have no other symptoms, so I have no particular reason to believe this amounts to a death sentence, either.

But as I await the outcomes, first of the biopsy, and second, as to what that might lead to, I've been giving a great deal of thought as to what is, and what is not, important.

My family is important. I do not have life insurance because I never qualified for it. I worry about what happens to them if I have to leave.

My community is important. I worry about it since we're led by people including moral, ethical and legal sell outs and media. I fear for what happens next here as well.

And I fear for my country. Oh my God, do I fear for my country.

The future of this country keeps me awake nights far more then my situation.

We seem to be spiraling downwards with no end in sight. Our government's efforts on matters from the health care scam (If it's such a great program, then why is the president and Congress exempted from it? Why does it have to be criminalized?) to ripping off our Veterans, to blood in Afghanistan, to the debt heaped on our children and their children and their children and their children to the moronic porkulous package that has done nothing but to bury us further, to the made up jobs numbers and the lies upon lie upon lies of those leading this country.

A jihadi wearing a Major's uniform, known in advance to be more closely aligned to the scum he represented while he was slaughtering our unarmed troops in Ft. Hood.... when WE KNEW.... and did nothing.

My possible cancer's physical impacts begin and end with me. These other attributes are so much bigger then I am. They mean so much more than I do... and so few are actually paying attention.

Sigh.

We've established what you are Madam... now we're just haggling over price.

.
Somehow, paraphrasing Churchill is strangely appropriate for describing the purchase of a woman from Louisiana... and in this case, the price was $300 million.

Frankly, Sen. Landrieu ain't all that hot. But then, clearly for her, it was always just a matter of price. "Louisiana Purchase?" "Cash for Cloture?" "Pride in her payoff?"

Like any other slut, money was her motivation, and she makes no bones about it.
And so it came to pass that Landrieu walked onto the Senate floor midafternoon Saturday to announce her aye vote -- and to trumpet the financial "fix" she had arranged for Louisiana. "I am not going to be defensive," she declared. "And it's not a $100 million fix. It's a $300 million fix."
So, in the end, like for most democrats, it was only a matter of price. The only thing surprising is that she sold her ass for so little. I'm sure that once the sex tapes have played on CSPAN, she'll sell them as a fund raiser.

Clearly, that recent episode with "Cold Hard Cash" Jefferson was the norm... and not the exception for democrats generally, and Louisiana specifically.

So.. How right was I ? (A year after the election)

Thoughts on a dismal night.

It’s 4 a.m. as I write this. This country in its infinite wisdom has accomplished two things tonight: we’ve elected the worst possible choice for president and we’ve set the tone for decades to come for most all upcoming elections.

And it’s hard to tell which is worse at this point.

“Change” is what was offered. “Change,” to a greater or lesser degree, is what we’re gonna get.

Change to what remains to be seen, but it doesn’t look like any positive view that I can see.

I’m not going to replay the many valid arguments against electing Obama. The cult of personality has achieved the impossible in the face of a wide variety of common-sense reasons why he should not have made this happen. Stupidity, ignorance, and hatred on a wide scale have won out. In the words of then local Congresswoman Jolene Unseold upon the stunning Republican tide of 1994 (and her removal from office by a write-in candidate, Linda Smith) “The winds of hate have swept the land,” she told us.

The very real and negative impacts to this country will, ultimately, have to be experienced to be believed.

The primary problem is this: will they be believed, even when they happen; or will a mass media, having set itself up as Obama’s PR arm, continue to violate the public trust by acting to spin, to mitigate, to censor their own information to re-enforce him has “the one?”

The mainstream media colluded to achieve Obama’s election. By any statistical or other summary, any pretense of fairness or objectivity was never present when they reported. Issues that would have destroyed any other candidacy were ignored, belittled, censored or swept under the rug. As a result, this country has elected a man to the most powerful office on the planet when he otherwise would be disqualified from holding high security clearances because of his relationship with at least one known terrorist.

The mainstream media has a vested outcome in Obama’s success. Were he to fail or be anything but an outstanding, at-least-as-good-as-Lincoln president, then the mainstream media’s undeniable culpability in his elevation would be too obvious to be denied. In short, Obama is a creation of the MSM, lacking any other substance, and the people of this country have bought into his packaging… packaging accomplished by a less than fair media. Essentially, they own him. And since they own him, his continued popularity is their number one concern.

None other than Chris Matthews rammed the above observation home:

Journalist Chris Matthews Will Do Everything in His Power to Make Obama's Presidency Successful

Were you still debating whether Chris Matthews is in the tank for Barack Obama? Then find a new hobby, because the writing's on the stall. But then Matthews went overboard this morning, on colleague Joe Scarborough's Morning Joe, and pretty much nominated himself the new president's press secretary.

"The worst thing you can do in journalism is try to figure out motive. There's no way to determine it," Matthews said.

Not only is this statement patently false — figuring out motive is pretty important, like George Bush's motives for invading Iraq — but Matthews followed it up with this: "I want to do everything I can to make this thing work … this new presidency work."

Yes, that is Matthews the journalist speaking.

CM: I want to do everything I can to make this thing work … this new presidency work.

JS: Is that your job?

CM: Yeah that's my job.

JS: Your job as a journalist is to make this presidency work?

CM: To make this work successfully, because this country needs a successful presidency more than anything right now.

[...]

CM: How can you not route[sic] for the success of the new president?

JS: As Americans, Chris Matthews, we're all rooting for the success of Barack Obama, But you just talked about being a journalist and your job as a journalist is not to question motives, and then two seconds later you said your job is to make this presidency a success … I just think that's curious.

From my perspective, this means that Matthews has a vested interest in positive outcome for Mr. Obama. In addition, that means he’s going to tank his coverage to something much less than journalism… and more like advocacy. This is the final, telling blow for journalism in this country.

This is not to absolve Senator McCain from his own responsibility in this matter. This was arguably one of the least strategic campaigns ever for the presidency… reminiscent of Dole in ’96. Poorly conceived and terribly executed, McCain acted more like he had been bought then someone who actually wanted to be president.

I could write pages on missed opportunities, failures in proper translation of events, failures to engage in strategic messaging, failures to follow the path set up by the later part of the Clinton campaign; failure to use both Clinton and Biden video to drive home the point that Obama is not ready to govern. However, adding to the cacophony of others will not solve any of these issues.

Essentially, this was a campaign that wrote itself… but McCain never got the script.

So, how far off was I?
