So, now that the terrorist supporters have made their presence known: what do we do about them and what about violation of hate speech laws?

The US is rife with terrorists and terrorist sympathizers. They've made their presence known around the world and not just here.

Many of them have engaged in hate speech.

Why haven't those espousing hatred been arrested? Why were their demonstrations supporting eradication of the Jews allowed to continue unimpeded? Why are hate speech laws flipped on and off like a switch?

Well, Jay Inslee? Well, Sideshow Bob? Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson How come terrorist-supporter hate speech was allowed without anyone being held accountable? And once these people are identified, why aren't they rounded up and deported back to their home countries instead of remaining here in the country they so despise?

Are we going to need a few dozen more of the inevitable terrorist attacks from the home-grown variety/resident terrorists that we allow to remain here unfettered by common decency? How many more of us have to die?

What about it, Joe Biden? What about it The United States Department of Justice?

Biden, the inevitable, and Iran's War on Israel.

By now, those paying attention are well aware that Israel has been attacked by Hamas, Iran's terrorist organization in the region.

This attack was inevitable. Biden's financing of the terrorist state of Iran, providing billions of dollars they used to buy arms and equipment made this outcome obvious.

That it shows yet another horrific intelligence outcome for the US Military (Afghanistan withdrawal, anyone?) is a given... although one does ponder: did we know about it and simply keep our collective intelligence mouth shut? Does anyone put that beyond a leftist Administration that despises Israel?

Not just us, of course, but also the vaunted, famed and fabled Israeli intelligence arm, Mossad, also bears the blame for this failure.  Heads, likely, will role there as well, after the autopsy.

But here's the reality: this blood is, in my opinion, on Biden's hands, much like the blood on his hands for his utter disregard of the massive human rights violations in Iran regarding the mandatory wear of the slavery rag by women, who have the status  of chattel in that prehistoric society. (Side note, ladies: next time you accuse American men of your euphemistic auto-response "misogyny," why don't you take a quick refresher course in what life in many primarily muslim countries is like for women... and, perhaps, reevaluate?)

This is a political nightmare. The Israeli Defense Force now has to go to work. Their retaliation must be immediate and horrifically effective, far beyond a measured response.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is likely finished politically. But for now, this experienced combat commander IS the guy to have in charge of what has to be done.

Which begs the question: what, exactly, has to be done?

The Israeli's obviously caught by surprise, know who's behind this directly (Iran) and indirectly (Biden).

For obvious reasons, there's nothing THEY can do about Biden. But there's a great deal they can do about Iran.

During the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, Iran was the main supplier to insurgent forces. They provided the wherewithal which resulted in the deaths of thousands of Americans and the wounding/maiming of 10's of thousands more... and we let them.

We COULD have done a great deal more to end that supply chain, but we, as we so often do, did nothing. And a great deal of American blood was spilled as a result.

Israel is well aware that Iran is equally supplying, commanding and controlling Hamas. They run that organization and now, of course, strategically, is an idea time for this variety of attack... or series of attacks (And don't believe this is going to be the only attack) because our attention has been focused on Eastern Europe and Netanyahu/IDF is weakened/shattered by political upheaval in a divided Israel, much of which it must be said, is the product of Netanyahu's failure to understand his own people.

Typically, Israeli response to attacks has been anything BUT "commensurate."

In the "Untouchables" movie, one of the characters (Malone, played by Sean Connery if memory serves) is known for this philosophy:

"He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue! That's the Chicago way"

This has been a variation on the theme for Israel. It's pretty much had to be.

What does that response look like and how much will Biden interfere when it comes to attacking his Iranian ally?

The problem for Israel isn't so much strategic as it is logistical.  Biden can cut off their supplies given their primary reliance on American equipment for their military, and he would not hesitate to do so, covertly if not overtly.

Strategically, Israel remains the strongest non-NATO force in the region. But not without parts for tanks and planes.

And while Biden likely would never commit the political suicide of publicly announcing such a cut-off with Israel's survival at stake (No matter how many men, women and children Hamas slaughters or turns into hostages) there is no doubt he's capable of taking this step covertly if he were so inclined.

For the US's part, the Administration will express outrage at this attack, call a United Nations meeting to provide a showcase for that outrage and then send strongly-worded letters. But Biden will also naturally disavow ANY responsibility for the attack he financed by giving billions to Iran.

Meanwhile, one can at least hope that Israel had SOME planning in place for such a possibility... just like we can hope that American military planners have plans in place for any surprise attack we will suffer at some point.

Massive retaliation against known Hamas targets is a given.  But does it stop there?

Does Israel expand their target package to include actual Iranian target's given the reality that without Iranian support and approval, this attack would never have taken place?

Is this the time for Israel to take out Iranian leadership? What about Iranian nuclear sites?  Is this cover for that?

Oh, yeah.... BTW?



Somebody knew something like this was going to happen. Odd that Biden's people didn't seem to have a clue.

Or did they?

Looks like Israel has taken off the gloves... and it's about time.

I've frequently wondered why Israel continues to show such high levels of forbearance against the terrorists infesting it's border region.

Proportionally, the death of one Israeli (with a population of 5,542,000 Jews; 1,477,000 Israeli Arabs and the remainder a mixtures of others (318,000.) for a total of 7,337,000) would equal the deaths of roughly 45 Americans. (Our population is roughly 45 times that of Israel.)

So, every day, Israel is on the receiving end of terrorist missiles, mostly supplied by Iran. They have put up with it and put up with it and put up with it, until the last few days.

A note for you leftists opposed to our effective border fence: since the Israelis have put up their border fence, suicide murders/bombings have become practically unknown.

What is it that Sean Connery said in that movie about Elliott Ness In the Untouchables?

"if one of them pulls a knife, you pull a gun; if they put one of yours in the hospital, put one of theirs in the morgue."

Israel needs to go back to this policy. Being the nice guy has availed them nothing. Making concession after concession has accomplished zip.

EVERY time ANY missile flies into Israel, they should mount massive and devastating counter attacks immediately. That means they should flatten towns and villages around the border region. This should become a policy, an automatic default setting.

Destroy enough of the region and I guarantee you that the people will rise up and throw off the yolk of the Hamas and Fatah terrorist oppression.

I hate to sound callous about it, but I care no more about the deaths of Palestinian civilians, including the deaths of Palestinian children; then the Palestinians care about the deaths of Israeli civilians, including children.

In short.... not at all.

Israel's situation is desperate. The are surrounded by hundreds of millions who would celebrate their destruction much like they celebrated the damage we suffered on 9/11.

They must make it so expensive to attack them that the attackers will simply not even consider it as an option.

And that also means attacking Iran. And soon.

Enough is enough. How much would we take? How much would you take if your neighbor started firing into your house? And what would you do to defend it?

So... how come firing missiles in Israeli civilian targets doesn't "inflame Arab public opinion?"

This has been going on for months... and how outraged has the Arab street been about that?

And where's the "diplomatic fallout" for the terrorist supporter countries?

There isn't any.

So, Israel must ignore what others have to say. They must do what is right for their survival. And we must stop supporting those who would destroy them.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Israel widened its deadliest-ever air offensive against Gaza's Hamas rulers Sunday, pounding smuggling tunnels and a central prison, sending more tanks and artillery toward the Gaza border and approving a reserves callup for a possible ground invasion.

Israeli leaders said they would press ahead with the Gaza campaign, despite enraged protests across the Arab world and Syria's decision to break off indirect peace talks with the Jewish state. Israel's foreign minister said the goal was to halt Gaza rocket fire on Israel for good, but not to reoccupy the territory.

With the two-day death toll climbing above 290 Sunday, crowds of Gazans breached the border wall with Egypt to escape the chaos. Egyptian forces, some firing in the air, tried to push them back into Gaza and an official said one border guard was killed.

Hamas, in turn, fired missiles deeper than ever into Israel, near the Israeli port city of Ashdod, and continues to command some 20,000 fighters.

Yet Hamas leaders were forced into hiding, most of the dead were from the Hamas security forces, and Israel's military intelligence chief said Hamas' ability to fire rockets had been reduced by 50 percent. Indeed, Hamas rockets fire dropped off sharply, from more than 130 on Saturday to just over 20 on Sunday.

Israel's intense bombings - some 300 air strikes since midday Saturday - wreaked unprecedented destruction in Gaza, reducing entire buildings to rubble.

Shlomo Brom, a former senior Israeli military official, said it was the deadliest force ever used in decades of Israeli-Palestinian fighting. "Since Hamas took over Gaza (in June 2007), it has become a war between two states, and in war between states, more force is used," he said.
European leaders called on both Israel and Hamas to end the bloodshed.
