Limbaugh and the NFL issue.

So... let me get this straight.

An Obama leg-humper like "Fergie" will have no trouble getting a piece of the Miami Dolphins ownership pie (Which Fergie and a growing group of minority owners in the franchise apparently view as something of a fashion accessory) but Limbaugh has been blackballed by scum like Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton (I wonder how Al would like it if he was ever kept from getting a radio show because of his rampant bigoted racism? Would that be just swell with him?) and communist democrat racist bigot Sheila Jackson Lee, to our everlasting embarrassment and shame a member of Congress from becoming a minority owner of an NFL Franchise?

So, we can allow a slimeball back into the game who visited agony upon agony on dogs for a fricking HOBBY to come back in and PLAY, but because Limbaugh has SAID some things these scumbags don't like, HE is excluded? HE is discriminated against?

What laws has Limbaugh violated?

None.

Yet the NFL is FULL of players who've violated the law in everything from drugs to sexual assault and in some cases, getting cleared for murder.

So, why is it that these scum aren't at least held up to the same standard as Limbaugh?

Why is it that these racist bigots are able to impact a business decision like this?

Why is this OK?

It isn't.

You know, I have never seen the Seahawks play in their new stadium. I actually never will, given the history of that facility and the massive abuse of the taxpayer, ignored by the legislature that allowed a slime ball billionaire to rip us off for hundreds of millions of dollars to keep a football team here.

I'm strange, that way. I've only set foot in the Vancouver Hilton, once, and that was at the behest and support of a client and friend of mine... and I will never go back... all for the same reason: the abuse of the taxpayer, in this case, fostered by the city council.

I played the game for roughly 22 years: Little league, high school, military, college) and my old body is something of a wreck because of it. I've lived and breathed football for over 40 years... even went out and bought a 72 inch HD unit to watch it. But this is it.

Ultimately, if the NFL determines that someone can be kept out of franchise ownership because of the racist bigotry of the few... particularly the few not involved in the ownership of that franchise, then I will never watch another NFL game, ever, anywhere. And that includes television.

It's not that I'm a big Rush fan. On the contrary, all too often in the past when I did listen, it seemed like you could avoid listening for 6 months, listen again, and it would seem like you hadn't missed anything.

But what I AM a huge fan of is freedom. I am a HUGE fan of freedom of speech.

Just for one example, I believe that the empty suited, anti-American racist bigot in the White House has damaged us for untold generations. But unless he's convicted of doing something illegal... something like, well, watching the slaughter of dogs for sport and making money off of that peculiar hobby; I don't believe that if he has the money, he should be disqualified from owning part of an NFL team.

But then, I also don't believe in the leftist, racist double standard, either.

But, like the idiotic decision of NASCAR to go to cookie cutter, no-difference cars resulted in me ignoring them: I can live without NFL football if they're going to base their ownership decisions on discriminatory, made up as they go-along racist bigoted policies that turn my stomach.

Their call. And while I'm not particularly one who's fond of lawyers; if, ultimately, Rush is kept out of ownership because of the left's bigotry, then I hope he sues the NFL's ass off.

But if, as a report I've just seen says, Rush is out?

Then so am I.

Baird Does It Again

Clark County GOP Press Release;

Congressman Brian Baird reverted back to making the same comparisons and comments today that he apologized for last week. Baird was the guest speaker at the Downtown Rotary Club on Wednesday where he was quoted to say “if there is a Ryder truck parked out front, it has my name on it.”

Clark County Republican Party Chairman Ryan Hart said he received a call from an individual who attended the meeting informing him of the comment. “I called several other people who attended the meeting and they all confirmed that Baird made the remarks.

Baird’s remarks were a reference to domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh. “This is just unbelievable,” Hart said. “You would think he would have learned a lesson or two over the past two weeks,” he added.

Hart said the comparison linking critics of the Democrat’s health care reform proposals to domestic terrorists makes one doubt the sincerity of his Baird’s apology.

Who was Baird referring to now? He cannot blame this on townhalls from back east this time.

Today's blithering idiocy?

Tom Koenninger has weighed in with his efforts. Tom, who no doubt has a "tingling leg" for Baird like that moron (Chris Matthews?) has a tingling leg for Obama, continues to avoid even any pretense of journalistic fairness or, for that matter, reality.

Koenninger and the rest of the upper level types at the local rag are totally in the tank for leftists generally. As I've shown from the last election, this disgrace of a paper ONLY endorsed democrats for EVERY open seat, from president on down.

Since Tom and the rest of the leftist thugs running that rag are completely in the bag for socialism and democrats (which is how they secured their gigantic B&O tax cut in the middle of this horrific recession and this state's $10 BILLION deficit) he predictably will do anything and everything he can to get his boy re-elected.

As I pointed out yesterday:

Baird will continue to lie about his position on this issue (He will vote for it if the Belle of Botox tells him to... and she will) and he will get massive, positive coverage from the despicable rag that is our local newspaper... so they can begin the process of burying Baird's little indiscretion, wherein he referred to me and millions of others as "Nazis" and "Brown Shirts," among other things as he engaged in cowardly, inexcusable conduct in avoiding his constituents in the face of the empty suit's efforts to further his socialist agenda.

Baird's public rehabilitation plan, orchestrated and implemented by that waste of paper known as our local newspaper, has already started. They printed alleged death threats, probably (I mean POSSIBLY) manufactured to help the Cowardman's image, today.

Can we even BEGIN to imagine what this scum rag of a paper would be saying had, say, Tom Mielke said something to offend?

Of course, since those running this disgrace to journalism AGREED with Baird's comments concerning Nazi's and Brown Shirts, they certainly aren't actually OFFENDED by our Cowardman's actions... so naturally, he's gonna engage in some of that leg-humping that makes our local paper famous among leftist aficionados everywhere.

Anyone who believes that a Cowardman voting for a bill he hasn't even read is "... a solid, hard-working and experienced voice in Congress for his district," has a screw loose. Baird's despicable conduct has disqualified him from representing the people of the 3rd District, and that's a message he'll receive loudly and clearly next year.

Dismiss his "exceptional legislative service?"

I spit on it.

His constituent services have been a joke; the man votes for bills he hasn't read; he insults and abuses his constituents... and this clown SUPPORTS him?

What amazing, rank, hypocrisy. And for someone who seems incapable of putting out a column that isn't infested with that particular virus, this one rises to the top.
