Rivers is still stuck in lie mode.

The irony of this insanity can't be overstated.

Lately, an Ann Rivers moronic "anti-Blue Squad" ad has been like the computerized version of herpes on my computer, and cell phone, with frequent outbreaks on apps that I use.

Like her last mailer, it was full of lies, exaggerations and misdirection.

Rivers Facebook ad reward by the WEA for selling us out on the McCleary budget

One of the biggest ironies... or outright lies... is that Rivers is financed by one of THE biggest democrat funders in the state.  (Look up David Nierenberg)  She's also raked in some major cash from a WEA front group for selling us out on the McCleary budget, which caused our property taxes to explode and for which, teachers were allowed to extort unconscionable, inexcusable and completely wasteful massive pay increases that have provided precisely zero increase in the only thing that SHOULD matter: academic achievement.

Teachers continue to do a terrible job in most schools, and have managed to extort absolutely massive, unconscionable pay increases, but thanks to RINO's like alleged Republican Rivers, who was actually hired by a DEMOCRAT CAMPAIGN FIRM while "negotiating" bending us over for the WEA, we, the taxpayers, have nothing to show for it.

Why did a DEMOCRAT campaign firm hire Rivers, allegedly a REPUBLICAN, while she was "negotiating" the McCleary sellout budget?

Gee.  Who knows?

And when, as I warned her repeatedly, our property taxes exploded, what did Rivers do?

She lied AGAIN, and blamed the Clark County Assessor for having to deal with HER betrayal of the property owners in Clark County.

Now, Rivers is a known liar.  As far back as 2012, Rivers lied to us to get elected.  Here's a screen capture of her Senate campaign platform, which *I* wrote:

MEANWHILE, Rivers' ads, if you click them, send you to this:

Sadly, her history in no way lives up to her words.

Again, Rivers told us back in 2012 that:

"The people have spoken and I have listened."

Yet, when the time came, she put her hands over her ears and tagged us in Clark County with a $700 million tax bill!

When asked, she lied AGAIN
and said it was a "business decision" and that if she had voted "no," it would have cost Clark County not $700 million.... but $7 BILLION.

Clearly, she confused keeping her word to us with the cost of the CRC Scam that she ALSO promised to oppose... but then "reframed her thinking" to get rid of the "congestion piece of it"

Strange, isn't it?  Why isn't Rivers running on her record of massive sellouts, massive tax increases and selling us out on the CRC Scam?

Rivers, who USED to run on a platform of "I won't tear down my neighbor's house to make mine look better" or some such, now trashes Tom Mielke directly.

Mielke has a record that Rivers can only envy.

Mielke has never voted for a tax and fee increase, and unlike Rivers, when he gives his word?

He keeps it.

Rivers, for her part, has become the very thing that she used to tell me she loathed the most: A lying, scheming, tax and spend democrat who CLAIMS to be a Republican, but far too often votes like a democrat.

Write in Tom Mielke.  Otherwise, 4 more years of a fake Republican who will sell us out at an even faster rate is what we'll get.
