You see? This is why I have zero difficulty with Trump and how he's dealing with the press/media.

Those paying attention are well aware that the press has abandoned any pretense of journalism much like they've abandoned the pretenses of accuracy, a lack of bias and, in fact, anything BUT advocacy.

That has been the position and the effort of the local cancer on our community for years: no lie, no exaggeration, no false flag, no jihad, no crusade is beyond them when it comes to their agenda.

Their lies about the CRC/Loot Rail scam will reverberate through any effort to replace the I-5 Bridge which, of course, does not NEED to be replaced until at least two other bridges are built, one to the west of the I-5 (North of Vancouver to Hillsboro) and one to the east of the I-205 bridge, (off of 192nd to Troutdale)

When the press lies to the people, either deliberately or through their incompetence, they become the enemy of the people, precisely like the President ha indicated.

And when they admit publicly that their JOB is to lie... as Chris Matthews admitted shortly after the nightmare of Obama began:
Journalist Chris Matthews Will Do Everything in His Power to Make Obama's Presidency Successful

Were you still debating whether Chris Matthews is in the tank for Barack Obama? Then find a new hobby, because the writing's on the stall. But then Matthews went overboard this morning, on colleague Joe Scarborough's Morning Joe, and pretty much nominated himself the new president's press secretary.
"The worst thing you can do in journalism is try to figure out motive.
There's no way to determine it," Matthews said.
Not only is this statement patently false — figuring out motive is pretty important, like George Bush's motives for invading Iraq — but Matthews followed it up with this: "I want to do everything I can to make this thing work … this new presidency work."
Yes, that is Matthews the journalist speaking.
CM: I want to do everything I can to make this thing work … this new presidency work.
JS: Is that your job?
CM: Yeah that's my job.
JS: Your job as a journalist is to make this presidency work?
CM: To make this work successfully, because this country needs a successful presidency more than anything right now.
[...]
CM: How can you not route[sic] for the success of the new president?
JS: As Americans, Chris Matthews, we're all rooting for the success of Barack Obama, But you just talked about being a journalist and your job as a journalist is not to question motives, and then two seconds later you said your job is to make this presidency a success … I just think that's curious.
And when Matthews admitted that he would be deliberately biased, he became an enemy of the people.

Likewise, now, the Matthew's style cabal are taking the exact opposite tact: they are going to do everything in their power to destroy the presidency of Donald Trump... no matter how much the country may suffer as a result.

More recently... one of the more clueless morons from MSNBC, some woman I've never heard of since more orangutans watch MSNBC than people, ADMITTED that media's JOB was to "actually control exactly what people think."

The press has freedom, of course.  But it is NOT freedom from responsibility.

And that freedom does NOT entail "controlling what people think."

This is, I believe, what the President is referring to when he calls the media "enemies of the people."  Because this, you see, is an acknowledgement by one of these talking heads that instead of their job being to provide the news in a fair an unbiased and actual manner, it is, to hear this woman tell it, "their job" to control what we think.

Nazi Propaganda Minister Josef Goebbels would be proud.

The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers.
