At some point, the American people will conclude that we are at war if they haven't already.
What will that mean? What will we do? ANd right now, if the authorities know, they ain't sayin'.
Face it: muslim murders... or terrorist attacks, if you will... are going to increase in both scope and size.
What do we do about it?
Interesting question.
Since so few of us have ever bothered to serve in the military, it's likely many will recoil in horror at the thought of what must be done.
We will be swamped with references to our treatment to of the Japanese and Japanese Americans during World War 2.
We also had Italians and Germans locked up during the war, but no one talks about that.
But this? This is unique.
Racial issues were involved here. Issues of nationality... enemy aliens and the like were involved here.
But this transcends that. This knows no race... no nationality. This is based on a religion... and religion knows no such constraints.
Whoever is behind the San Bernadino operation knows their business. Clearly, this was a well-planned and well-executed operation. Military in nature.
Does anyone reading this believe for one minute that this will be the last such operation?
And here's the thing: those in charge don't discuss these things with us. And, as far as that goes, I'm not altogether sure those in charge discuss this sort of thing among themselves.
After all, it was our oh-so-politically correct government that produced Major Nidal Hassan, US Army... militarily and medically inept but in a chain of command so afraid of allegations of racial bias that they refused to do what needed to be done... and blood was spilled as a result.
So.
What are we going to do?
How many more need to die?
What are we going to do?
Don't expect our congresswoman to have any ideas: she's been utterly worthless since she got the job.
Neither of the fringe-left nutjobs representing us in the Senate will have a clue. But then, all 3 of these clowns are guarded by men and women with guns so they don't have to worry all that much about it.
So... who steps up?
Who leads?
What are we going to do?
Own a gun, yet?
Go get one. Learn how to use it. Carry it.
Don't just be helpless.
Because you can bet that those people in that conference room never had the possibility they'd be slaughtered at a party cross their minds.
That doesn't make them any the less dead.
