Eleven plus years ago, I worked for Pam Roach for a very brief time, before I got caught in the meat-grinder between her and AID's riddled Senate Majority leader Jim West.
So, I have first hand knowledge of Sen. Roach that no one else reading this has.
Today, she screwed the entirety of the GOP caucus by rolling them in the vote for President Pro Tem of the State Senate.
In a move partially orchestrated by our own local Sen. Don Benton, the two of them with the help of the entire democrat caucus, removed democrat State Senator Tim Sheldon (D-Potlach) from the position of President Pro Tem of the Senate.
The entire GOP caucus, save for Benton and Roach, rightfully wanted him to remain in that position.
Because the GOP caucus has the obvious leadership of a spineless jelly fish, Benton has ONCE AGAIN shafted his colleagues by telling them to fuck off so he can take care of his buddy.
I, for one, have had it. I've gone from rabid Benton supporter to rabid Benton opponent.
At a minimum, these two should lose all of their committee assignments and be relegated to conexes in the parking lot.
Mark Schoessler's failure to control his caucus just shows how piss poor the leadership actually is.
I'm not sure what's driving this hissy fit on Benton's part, but it's inexcusable. It goes to the heart of who he truly is. And I hope that both Roach and Benton choke on it.
