One of the biggest idiots shilling the CRC Scam was Identity Vancouver's own Paul Montague... and while it is said that Victory has a 1000 fathers and defeat just one... if there actually IS just one, Montague is a leading candidate for the gig.
And you know what? It's almost like he was about to get fired by Identity Vancouver and he needed to make up another gig for himself!
His idiocy of attempting to line up businesses with a political death wish is just that: idiocy. Nothing will kill a candidate's hope for election faster than the playground stupidity of getting tagged or supported by Montague... and at this point, it only seems to be Montague, who's out there playing the role of a clown wagging the tail to try and get the dog's attention.
The stupidity of this goes beyond obvious: Any business or individual funding this stupidity will be committing political suicide. Any business or individual funding this idiocy is very likely to find themselves on the wrong end of a boycott by the very same people that Montague has been insulting and disregarding for years.
Need a bill passed in the Legislature? Don't hold your breath. How was Identity Vancouver's agenda in the last legislature?
Need an ordinance passed or amended? Need a county contract? Want to be heard or even acknowledged?
Then by all mean, join the Worm of the Identity Vancouver slime and see what happens. even Montague knows it:

I've frequently believed that Montague was just a flat out punk... an immature jerk who thinks the people exist for his agenda instead of the other way around. The complete idiocy of Montague is this obvious fact: Madore, on his own, can outspend Montague's idiocy 5 to one and not even break a sweat.

I might be somewhat naïve as I don't think that I am getting this Mr. Montague PAC concept. Perhaps it is because I am not a business owner.
Let me struggle a little: So the impetus for Mr. Montague's PAC is that he believes that who I might have voted for is dysfunctional and would like to buy the political favors of politicians who will support the interests of, for example, those on the list provided by Mr. Clark?
I am uncertain, but it does appear that Clark County has become polarized and disjointed by the handling and failure of the CRC project. The lack of clarity of vision and without the buy-in support of the community. (think this was underestimated by the business community)
So am I clear in my understanding that Mr. Montague now wants buy politicians who will further the business community interests forward? Without first re-establishing trust with the community? Without setting a transparent, workable vision for what that might look like? Without collaboration and partnership?
The Mr. Montague PAC idea, sounds like a bigger bulldozer coming to shove more down the community throats. Those who are polarized, disjointed and distrusting might dig their heals in deeper....
Throwing out this list of "potential business supporters" feels like Mr. Clark is saying...."BRING IT ON!" We are coming whether you like it or not...We are bullies and we will MOW YOU DOWN!
Is the Mr. Montague PAC bulldozer really necessary? Wouldn't the money be better spend developing a clear plan for Vancouver that most can live with, first?
Reduce the polarization in our community and with the business community? So that trust can be established and our community can come together for a common good?
This PAC notion seems rather self-serving and an act of bullying. It may further the polarization if the process of rebuilding and restoring the trust of the community with a solid vision.
Which would seem to require process over a period of time and not a bulldozer.
