The usual pro-CRC Scum showed up at the CRC dog and pony show.

It never ceases to amaze how much the pro-CRC Scum feel genetically compelled to lie to anyone who will listen to get this rip off built.

First scumbag?  Larry Smith.  His lies?
Also testifying in support of the CRC were Vancouver City Councilor Larry Smith and City Manager Eric Holmes. Smith said Vancouver citizens support the project, and pointed to last fall's city council elections as evidence. All four winning candidates, including Mayor Tim Leavitt, have been supportive of the CRC.

"I think that tells you something in itself," Smith said. He added: "A failure to act in Olympia is not a vote against the project."
The fact is that when asked, every single precinct in Vancouver, save 5, voted against this rip off.  Smith, being a CRC Scammer, isn't going to mention that, of course.

And, of course, when the vast majority of the representation from Clark County vote to oppose this rip off, well, in fact, that IS a "vote against this project."

Why does this scumbag have to lie?

And then the next lying worms are the 3 stooges: Molehill, Wylie and Cleveland.
Cleveland, Moeller and Wylie all urged Oregon lawmakers to again do what Washington could not, and approve funding for the CRC. Moeller noted that the project still has strong federal support, a crucial bridge permit from the U.S. Coast Guard and other key pieces in place.
"All you need to do is say yes," Moeller said. He and others touted the economic benefits of a project they said replaces an outdated liability in the existing I-5 Bridge.

Again with the lies.  There's a HELL of a lot more to it than "just saying yes."  Molehill knows that... but he lies about it anyway.

And then, even Taxhaber has to lie:
Earlier in the hearing, Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber testified that Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has directed his state to start working on an intergovernmental agreement on the CRC. Inslee spokesman David Postman confirmed Wednesday that the governor has asked his transportation secretary to discuss potential language with Oregon.
"But there is no commitment to sign such an agreement," Postman said in an email.
State law requires legislative approval of any such agreement:
RCW 39.34.080
Contracts to perform governmental activities which each contracting agency is authorized to perform.
Any one or more public agencies may contract with any one or more other public agencies to perform any governmental service, activity, or undertaking which each public agency entering into the contract is authorized by law to perform: PROVIDED, that such contract shall be authorized by the governing body of each party to the contract.  Such contract shall set forth fully the purposes, powers, rights, objectives, and responsibilities of the contracting parties.

Lies and the lying liars who use them.

These scum make me sick.  And when this thing is buried, I'll be dancing on their political graves.
