Helping Marsha Manning.

In keeping with the recent democrat meme of being terrified about revealing their party affiliation, Marsha Manning shows her leftist idiocy with this garbage:

Letter: Will of the community ignored

In a letter dated Aug. 8 to Transportation Secretary Lynn Peterson, state Sen. Curtis King, R-Yakima, (friend of Senators Don Benton, R-Vancouver, and Ann Rivers, R-La Center) wrote that "The governor's insistence on including the CRC with light rail in the revenue package … provided the death blow to the entire package." Well, as King well knows, not including light rail as the transit option would have been the "death blow" to the Columbia River Crossing project.
I am confused why King, Benton and Rivers continually dismiss the decade of work and the input of thousands of Clark County citizens. The option to have light rail across the replacement Interstate 5 Bridge was made by our citizens and local elected officials in 2008. Stop wasting taxpayer money and ignoring the will of our community and get this bridge built.
Thank you to Gov. Jay Inslee for not giving in to the small but vocal minority of citizens who do not believe in progress or jobs for our community.

Manning, listed as the  "3rd Congressional District Chair" (And has she done a great job in that capacity... or what?)  on the dems local org chart is one of the democrats behind Steve Stuart's/Columbian jihad against Commissioner's Mielke and Madore as a board member of the fringe left "Clark County Wears out kneepads for the democrats" PAC doesn't mention that she's a local player in the democrat hierarchy, a position shared by many of her ilk based on the freeholder responses.

However, let me help Ms. Manning with her obvious confusion (Apart from her neo-communist politics, that is.)

Partisan hackery without identifying one's political position is disingenuous at best, and plain dishonest at worst.

There's a meme here that the left, while reveling in the pain they cause the people, seem to even be ashamed to admit who they are.

Had Manning admitted in her missive that she was one of the fringe-left herders, that would have enabled the vast majority of readers to just stop reading and move on the moment she brought out the names of Rivers and Benton  in relationship to King as if they were the political equivalent of lepers.

Why she failed to mention what she is certainly has the ring of the obvious: acknowledging it as part of the letter would have just led to a conclusion that she's just reciting her master's talking points... which, in fact, is what she was doing with this tripe.

Manning blathers thus:
In a letter dated Aug. 8 to Transportation Secretary Lynn Peterson, state Sen. Curtis King, R-Yakima, (friend of Senators Don Benton, R-Vancouver, and Ann Rivers, R-La Center) wrote that "The governor's insistence on including the CRC with light rail in the revenue package … provided the death blow to the entire package." Well, as King well knows, not including light rail as the transit option would have been the "death blow" to the Columbia River Crossing project.
That stripping loot rail out of the package was it's "death blow" is not, of course, our problem.  It's been a well-known condition of passage for this now-dead project, literally, for months.

Both governors, including Outslee, know that the bridge is a loot rail project, period.  Knowing that the people of this county (and hence, their districts) do not WANT loot rail flies in the face of Manning's lie:
I am confused why King, Benton and Rivers continually dismiss the decade of work and the input of thousands of Clark County citizens. The option to have light rail across the replacement Interstate 5 Bridge was made by our citizens and local elected officials in 2008. Stop wasting taxpayer money and ignoring the will of our community and get this bridge built.
While there is general agreement that anyone with Manning's political view is, in fact, "confused," there's also confusion on her part over the fact that Clark County citizens have NEVER had ANY input on the CRC Scam, BY POLICY... (CRC Scammers always use this lie... even though they know it's not true)  and that while the corrupt officials who tried to ram this nightmare of debt and billions in tolls ripped out of our local economy for decades (All without asking.. so much for "citizen input") were representing the special interests who own them, they failed to represent US.

We have seen... over an over.... the "will of the community" on this theft that Manning supports.  Her, "do it our way or else" approach is part and parcel of the chief symptoms of corruption and arrogance that have been running this project from the beginning.

And this Marxist then concludes with this garbage:
Thank you to Gov. Jay Inslee for not giving in to the small but vocal minority of citizens who do not believe in progress or jobs for our community.
Another symptom of the fringe-left nutter is the idea that it's government's function to provide jobs for their union lackey buddies... and in this case, replacing a 6 lane bridge with a 6 lane bridge and 4 decades of ever-increasing tolls somehow equates to "progress."

Tell you what, M/M... next election, what say you make sure to beat the hell out of the legislators who opposed this rip off from being foisted on the people of their districts.

Please.  I'm begging you here.

And meanwhile?

Stop being such a political coward.
