Rep. Stonier again votes no on the CRC Scam.

The headline speaks for itself.

It's the rare commodity in an elected official to keep their word based on their campaign platform.  One need only look at the slimeball mayor of Vancouver as an example of a dishonorable liar with no integrity.

While Rep. Stonier is in the wrong party, I would be thrilled if she would maverick into the next version of Sen. Tim Sheldon, (D - Mason County) who is dramatically unimpressed by party pressure.

In the upcoming election, it will be difficult for me to support anyone running against her.  Had I known she was dead set against the CRC Scam from the getgo, I likely would have taken a different position about her.

While logic and concern for the people of Clark County lost out in the House, 8 of the 10 representatives from Clark County voted "no" against this crap pile.  I was extremely pleased that Monica Stonier was one of them.

Then there is a procedural issue. State Sen. Michael Baumgartner, R-Spokane, notes the House hasn’t passed a bonding bill, HB 1956, which is necessary to implement a portion of its plan. “It’s pretty hard to take it seriously in the Senate until they pass a complete package,” he said. The hitch, of course, is that a bonding bill takes 59 votes, and the House had enough trouble getting to 51.
