Mike Briggs dives headlong into the moron zone over prayer at city council meetings.

Look, those paying attention get how leftist and therefore out of touch this simpleton is... but this is over the top.

I believe in the Separation of Church and State and our own government has followed this since a 1937 statement was made by a U.S. Supreme Court Justice. Why does the city of Washougal WA need to go a different route now?

The only thing bigger than Briggs' arrogance is his ignorance.

This state's legislature, both houses, open each day with a prayer.  Even when the democrats control those Houses.

Both the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives do the same.

It takes a genuine moron to first, make this absolutely incorrect statement that he blathered and second, have a problem with a prayer to open a city council meeting or any other meeting.

Don't like it?

Then don't go.  Or if you go, don't pray.

But why they voted to do it is because it was up to them.  And like so many other things non-fringe left government does, Mikey, if you don't like it, that is just too... damn... bad.
