Mike Dalesandro announces he's running for BG city council: not impressive.

Mike Dalesandro is running for Battle Ground city council.

A failed candidate (2009) and overtly partisan democrat, an ignorant, delusional Obama supporter.

(From his facebook page)
Mike Dalesandro
Not many Presidents can claim list of accomplishments as long and as important as President Obama:
Well, that's certainly one way of putting it.
Access to affordable healthcare for most Americans,
Lying and causing the price of health insurance premiums to skyrocket, which anyone paying attention knew was going to happen.
saving the US automobile industry,
Costing us at least 30 billion dollars that we'll never get back to bail out his union slimeball buddies.
putting a stop to the economic free fall in 2008-09,
Making the economy much worse for years, burying us in trillions of dollars of debt that generations won't be able to repay.
killing Osama Bin Laden,
Taking credit for killing Bin Laden when all he did was give the "go," finally. (Memo to Mikey: Obama wasn't there.  He didn't kill anyone, and doesn't now, except by Predator.)
appointing 2 women and the first Latina to the Supreme Court,
Keeping women off the Executive White House staff in any appreciable numbers; others having appointed women long before he ever did.
equal pay for equal work,
Where men are paid roughly 30% more then women on average in the White House
Wall Street reform,
That he had nothing to do with, what little their was
supporting marriage equality,
Having campaigned on marriage equaling one man and one woman.
eliminating don't ask don't tell,
Screwing up the military beyond belief, causing unnecessary blood and other expense to a military in the middle of a war.
elimination of preexisting conditions,
Having caused the prices of health care insurance to skyrocket as a result.
elimination of life-time health insurance caps,
Destroying private insurance independence.
over 4 million private sector jobs created,
Over 4 million lies about how many jobs he "created" (None) and no mention of how many millions have just fallen out of the job market (The true unemployment rate still being in the double digits.) while adding 200,000 more government jobs.
20+ months of job growth,
Zero months of job growth at the time.
increasing domestic oil production,
Lying about increasing domestic oil production, putting more oil producing lands off limits, refusing to allow the Keystone Pipeline to be built.
increasing our nations commitment toward renewable energy,
Wasting hundreds of millions of dollars on failed loans, both foreign and domestic as part of this scam.
ending one war and ending another,
Not ending any war, getting us involved in ADDITIONAL wars, and screwing up both foreign and domestic policies beyond belief, turning us into the laughing stock around the world, and making the US even LESS popular overseas than under Bush, abandoning our people in Benghazi and causing their deaths.
putting both wars on the "books",
Going through a paper exercise causing democrats to believe this is any different then what was going on.
infrastructure improvements all over the nation (economic recovery act),
A failed stimulus that has sunk us another trillion in debt, accomplishing absolutely nothing to fix anything.
and payroll taxes reduced.
Just to see them jacked back up last January, smacking the middle class the worst.
I know many of my friends are not supporting this President because they feel he has not done the job of turning around this economy and/or they don't support his views on the right to choose, marriage equality, tax policy, etc. I respect your voice, and I will admit at times I was not 100% behind this president.
But as a total leftist. I decided to drink ALL the kool aid.
But as this election cycle progressed, it became clear to me that Romney was promoting the failed economic policies of the last decade
Because the failed economic polices, the tax increases, the massive unemployment, the trillions in debt, the weak GDP, the increasingly worthless dollar, the cost of energy including astoundingly high gasoline prices are what Mike would call "success."
and the President was promoting the prosperous economic policies of the 90's.
And, of course, there's no connection between the "policies of the 90's and anything this simple minded idiot in the White House has done or is doing now.
It became clear to me that Romney will not support the type of change we really need to get this nation moving forward.
Because the clown that HAS been the type of "change" Mike supports has wrecked our countries economy, just not badly enough.
The election tonight is huge...either we affirm the change that has happened or we go back to the way it was and we are forced to fight those battles again.
The beauty of American democracy is that the voters have the right to trade their freedom for "stuff," like free cellphones that those few of us actually paying taxes have had to kick out 2.2 billion dollars for last year... as if a cell phone is a right.
I am confident that we will not change our course tonight. I am proud to support President Obama. Regardless who wins, let our nation come together and start working together at not only the national level, but at the local level...no matter the victor. We must respect the voice of the people. We can disagree without being disagreeable. Debate is healthy and at the heart of our republic. Please vote if you haven't. Support YOUR choices, let your voice be heard. God Bless America!!
I'm also sure that had Romney won, Mike and the rest of the left would have joined hands in support of him and sang kumbaya...

Just like they did Bush.

I will be opposing Mike's effort at getting elected to this or any other office.

The last thing we need is this kind of blind, defy belief and reality allegiance to a failed party and a failed presidency.

More to come.

Thank you CCP for making us informed. If I were his opponent, I would ask him about who really signed the Status of Forces Agreement (which was Bush) and who said they would get the troops out within 16 months of taking the oath. 35 months of the troops being withdrawn due to the status of forces agreement is not equal to 16 months. I would also ask him about Fannie Mae and Freddie mac and other topics to show he is misinformed regarding issues.
